Friday Night Funkin' (also stylized as FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN'; often abbreviated FNF) is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel programmed by ninjamuffin99 with its soundtrack composed mainly by Kawai Sprite and its artwork and animations by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r.
The game was originally created for Ludum Dare 47, a game jam event with the theme being 'Stuck in a Loop'. The version of the game that would now be known as the Ludum Dare prototype would be released on the 5th of October, 2020, the jam's last day for submissions. The current version of the game was released to Newgrounds on the 1st of November, 2020. It can also be played on itch.io. On the itch.io page, it can also be downloaded for Windows, macOS and Linux devices for free or with an optional donation.
Friday Night Funkin' is drawn and animated in a manner that nostalgically encapsulates Newgrounds' Flash animations with an art style inspired by graffiti street art. The game features multiple weeks where the player is confronted with various opponents with multiple songs.

The culmination of 8+ months of work all for this one mod.
This mod used to be through hell. With two teams divided with nothing being solved. That changes today with both the Novatos Team and Rookies Team being merged together to make one very great mod! And I'm proud to release it today!

As someone who's interested in development stuff (scrapped content, beta builds, stuff like that), Vs Mouse wasn't quite what I was expecting to be a part of said interest (though I suppose it makes sense, given how the mod went from a shitshow that would make Montezuma blush to a mod full of genuine bangers, and the seemingly endless rabbit hole of controversies), but hey, I aint complaining. Is there any more stuff like this that's of interest?

When it was 2021 I watched the deleted channel of Novatos Team and I remember a lost Suicide Mouse design but no one was able to find this lost design
you should look into the Monday Morning Mist rabbit hole (Monday Morning Mist is MCM’s earliest found version), a bunch of stuff is on scratch by the way

@@somemadnessfan4763 thats fine but about crazy : on 3.0 disk one would have only 4 songs : welcome,repentance,revenge and crazy and the markus on crazy used to be crisis so like 2.0 markus used to be crisis then after he got scrapped cause it could not make sens so instead they made a concept of the beta mouse taking part of disk 1
i knew that Marko used to be reborned 2.0 Mouse before being changed to reborned Beta Mouse
and i'm pretty sure the Markus in the video WAS Markus himself and not Marko plus the later builds having Markus sing Crazy debunk this

Fun fact: In update with disk 3 in debug mode you could find finished the end song and scrap song. Now it got replaced by sky fallen song.

Theres also an interesting unfinished misery/tragedy remake which appears to be an unfinished early version or unfinished remake of Olimac’s misery/tragedy. GabrielYT_Official posted a chart of it if you want to hear it although it is obviously unfinished.

suscide mouse unused laugh sprite, its basically a 2.0 laugh sprite on the middle part of misery but it has black eyes and the mouth is covered its black thingy from what i remembered, the laugh sprite was meant to be put on the song suscide. can be found on novatos team channel ost which is now unavailable
