I just wanted to say that, while I’m not a licensed professional, I’m in the mental health field and I’ve realized that ASMR is a form of bilateral stimulation which is actually a component of a lot of trauma related therapies. Including hypnotherapy! Bilateral stimulation helps activate the vagus nerve which helps bring your body out of fight or flight mode and stay in rest and digest mode.
