Hunter Biden should be ashamed of himself! Why put all the entire blame on the widowed sister-in-law??
If this is indeed a true fact, they both are equally guilty or responsible. It does still take two to tango. Last time I checked, it is physically and logistically impossible to have a tryst or an affair without both parties participating!!

Why shouldn’t she tell her story? This whole sordid thing with the sister in law affair , hunters drug use, other affairs, etc. were all out in the media - telling her story for her. She has every right to tell her own story- her own experience.
You don’t have to read it if you don’t like it.

Sounds like trust issues. Know your partner better for one. Two, if you go into a relationship with an obvious financial advantage (you're better at managing money) don't proceed to listen to this fool. The average American carries $92k in consumer debt and the majority of people can't control their diet & eating habits, but hey, you do you boo boo! My suggestion, manage your own account and if your spouse has questions about where money is going to answer honestly and as accurate as possible. Her downfall didn't manifest due to Hunter not sharing financial accounts. It was letting Hunter continue with his addiction comfortably. She said she loved him, but at the same time she let him continue his addiction for how many years?

The first time I heard about his head injuries in the accident that took his mother's life, it made me wonder. I don't think we put enough emphasis on how childhood brain trauma can affect people in their adult years. Hunter sustained a fractured skull and severe traumatic brain injuries. He said in an interview that his drug use was related to that accident, and I believe him. I am well aware of how childhood brain trauma can affect adults because someone closed to me also sustained childhood brain injuries.

And by the way one of the reasons the relationship didn't work was not just because of his drug addiction, but some or all of the children weren't comfortable with it at all. I damn sure wouldn't be. Not like Biden was when he said that him and his wife supported it. And who is to say that the relationship didn't start when Beau was still alive.

If you’re on the fence about reading this book, here’s your sign. I read it in one sitting. One thing I noticed was how she was very careful and GRACEFUL when it came to what she said about a man who’d put her (and their families) through so much. There also seems to be much more to this story that she leads on (not of her own doing or fault) but it’s very clear to see someone was standing behind her making sure certain things weren’t mentioned or were left out. I tip my hat to her for the grace she showed this entire family.

i only heard about this book + really this entire story, just now, as my mom had me order it for her. I had zero clue about any of this, especially the SIL. wow. and its like - this woman/author, literally wrote a book on the ultimate betrayal, a true scorn woman's tale, while recognizing the person who has hurt her most, has a disease, not malice. She maintained the dignity of her family, former inlaws, and the position they hold, while also not allowing herself or her story to be placed in a corner, forgotten of, and silenced. It's crazy how you may be a college student, a nurse, a daughter in law to the President of the US - and we all go through the exact same dilemmas. I obviously haven't read this book as I've mentioned, but already it's clear that a major lesson to be learned is, you will get through this dark time, and there is a way to handle yourself and the situation you never asked to be put in with maturity and grace, & is there really a better F|_|{k you than that?

Drugs and alcohol just lower the ability to withstand whats already within us humans ability to do. We naturally have these feelings, emotions and desires that only our morality , self awareness and integrity can maintain in order to resist the urge to act upon. But as time goes by and life throws us into some deep pits of tragedy, loss, illness and broken trust we seek out the instant gratification when the load gets too heavy and we can't see or hear what the truth is anymore. When we find out that the person or people that we trusted have really been lying , cheating and neglecting you together as a group yet were trying to convince you that you were losing it and imagining things, well then turning to drugs and alcohol is basically a coping tool that can be bought on any street and at any time night . People can feel deceit before its even mentioned.

I respectfully get it and understand telling your story and speaking your truth. But these people writing these memoirs and books to me seem and feel exploitive. Not saying that, Hunter Biden is a saint, but all this airing out dirty laundry and your business in order for the Best Sellers list is just once again, pretty low. What about the children who will see and read these things does it matter how they feel? I wish Kathleen the best, I personally have no interest in these types of books or situations everyone has their own problems and issues I do to. I lastly lost my beloved dad to an overdose tragically and could never imagine someone or myself writing a book to make profit off of the misery and suffering let alone exploiting other family members.😑

Saying Hunter is no saint is the understatement of the year. Remember, he wrote a book FIRST exploiting his family, but now she has to shut up? No.

Yes, he has since cleaned up and lives a different life so why drag him through the mud. It just appears these people can't move on and they have to open up that old can of worms.
I wish them all the best but...move on.

Wow, how difficult doing this on the world's stage. She's a class act on this subject. So difficult to go threw this and be judged by those around you. But to do this on the news and risk the judgement of the world . . . Yikes - brave - very brave... She's into healing this. VERY very good for her and her family. May God keep you in the palm of his hands.

I understand addiction and the abusive behavior that comes with it. My father then my husband. I must say that every one can get help and heal. I stayed with my husband thru both of those times of active and recovery, but I too got help and understood that it takes two to make up the crazies and the recovery. It’s a lot of work for both but each individual must be dedicated to a better path forward. I never regretted it because the work helped me understand and learn to love my father too. To me it was a growing time of family disfunction that was worked on and healing was tremendous. ❤

If Hunter was so on drugs, seems Beaus wife would have been part of that drug use to have an affair, reasonable assumption
