Hi Joce, I don't know if anyone already mentioned it, but that sound you heard when you were moving the shakers was probably rice, and not old pepper and salt. People used to put rice in the shakers to keep the salt and pepper dry.

I'm surprised that you still get comments accusing you of "taking" things from Dagney and Kate. Granted, there are some items that all of you are attracted to, but I find that especially Kate has her own style and niche that's she's attracted to. Also, when they've pointed out items to you that you've bought, it's always been after they've expressed they didn't want them. I'm pretty sure that if any of you were "taking" one another's finds, you wouldn't continue shopping with each other! I love watching you shop with friends, specifically because you all have such different tastes and expertise! ❤
I'm telling you some vintage blue glass glows it may be you need to have a stronger uv light but it does glow quite brightly. Another great shopping trip it's fun to see you get excited by the pieces your finding. So much of it was Goodwill prices or lower. Some do take good finds from others finds but anyone who has watched you long enough know you don't do that.

That was Spectra from the planet Shimmeroni; Lacey, spacey, out of this world. Maybe it was planet Shimmerfog? Shimmershine? Shimmycocoapop? I don't remember, I was five. Her bed was a hot pink powder puff and if you were lucky enough to get the deluxe Spectra package, she came with a little frankenbot dog named Spark. There were a few other colorful bots in her crew.
I love that place. It truly was a treasure hunt because there were crafts, junk, kitsch , and wonderful treasure all mixed together. Prices seemed to be fair for the most part. I want to go there but alas it is a 900 mile trip. Kate is a hoot. Loved all the places you went in the last few videos, but this one is best.

A lot of plastic things glow - doesn't make them uranium. I have over 500 pieces of uranium glass - none are plastic or lucite. What you see glowing under a black light are phosphors. A phosphor is any substance that emits visible light in response to some sort of radiation. A lot of water bottles glow blue or purple. No uranium involved.
