I TESTED OUT REVLON'S NEW DUAL ENDED JELLY MAKEUP BLENDER! IS IT A GIMMICK?

- Hello Friends! Revlon and Influenster sent over a new product for me to test out. I was very skeptical about trying this... is this actually going to blend out my makeup flawlessly or is it going to end up in a disaster?

Shiseido and Mac make a tool like this that people love and that costs way more. This is meant more for concealer and blotting lipstick etc than covering a full face. It’s for detail, and the a major point is to use far less product since the tool doesn’t soak it up like a sponge and brush. It’s to use in place of where you’d use your finger. Simple as that and it keeps far more coverage so you need far less product.

I think the better application is using it with lip products to create a blotted look or with cream blushes. Silicon doesn’t absorb product but it also doesn’t help push it into the skin like sponges do.
i did try applying my bronzer with it so i wonder if it would differently with a cream blush 🤔 but as far as applying a lippie i wonder if it would help blend a lip liner with lipstick!
Maybe a person who doesn’t use that much product would find it useful 🤷. Maybe u should blend out most of that concealer 1st and then finish off using that tool or would that then defeat the purpose, idk? U don’t seem to have any discoloration nor any issues for needing so much product under your eyes so maybe it’ll work if you tried less product but then is it really working? I don’t use much of anything but was just interested in how/if it worked to cover up darker under eyes and eye lids. Thank you for posting your review 👍🏽
i have slight purplish/blue under the corners of my eyes but it might not be as visible in the video but i definitely agree with you. I may play around with it a little bit more in the future but use way less product than what i think i need just for concealer, cream bronzer and blush and trying to blend out a lipstick into a lipliner or something like that. definitely would have to use a sponge for foundation tho 😂 thank you so much for your feedback!

Can you clean the Revlon jelly thing? If I am someone who is horrible at cleaning their brushes, do you think that would be a good option (I am clearly not going to change at this point :) ?
@@JaclynBrandt yes! it’s extremely easy to clean actually and i also suck at cleaning my brushes 😂 all i did was take a pump of hand soap and washed it real quick, rinsed it, and wiped it dry! It’s forreal so easy since none of the product gets absorbed into it.
