Malletier is French for “Trunk Maker” , a luggage manufacturer . That’s what the brand LV initially did , it was originally a luggage brand before it branched out to luxury bags and what they produce today ! So it was 100% made in France, even if it doesn’t say “Made In France” . The Noe or Noe GM was originally designed as a carrier to transport champagne bottles , 4 standing up straight and 1 upside down . The petit , BB and nano sizes are just smaller versions of the original that you have . Hope that helps explain a little for you. That size is for sure a shoulder style carry . The Noe BB was made to be worn cross body . I had the Noe GM in azur but it was just a bit to big for my taste , so I have the petit noe in monogram and it’s still a favorite of mine til this day , along with my Tivoli gm . I noticed the ones made in the 90s will usually have a “made in France” stamp on the leather AND usually have a date code that starts with “AR”… I really wanted to find a Noe made in the 80s. I have the Noe GM as well. Great for travel, and mine is made in 1988 quality is good Condition. 😍. Also, Japanese sellers have great deals on vintage Louis Vuitton handbags.

Hi! Thanks for watching! Not all the bags I purchased from Japan were authenticated… However, the more expensive ones, like the Chanel bags that I got did go through authentication. I think eBay goes through a periods where they authenticate bags over $500 from Japan and then a period when they don’t. But if you order from eBay, and it has the blue checkmark, that says authentication guarantee, those will definitely go through eBay’s authentication service.
