This Clio have a good top speed for a One 1.0 Turbo motor with a 98cv. My Kia Rio Also have a similar motor - 1.0 T-Gdi 101cv and have top Speed of 203km/h. Maybe because of torque. The Clio of This video have 160nm of torque and my Kia have 172nm of torque. However my Kia Rio 2019 have 1200kg of weight and he get performance the 0 to 100km/h in 9 seconds.
The gear ratio & horsepower are the main factors for top-speed. Imagine you are riding a bike in a low gear. You can pedal crazy fast but you won't get any faster. You have to shift gears up to increase the speed. It is the same with cars. The car in the video is still a 5-speed. Renault changed it to a 6-speed which most certaily will go faster.
Hopefully the build quality is better than in the previous generation Clio. When i test drive and looked at multiple cars a few months ago before purchasing, i looked at allot of Clios. They are very very good looking from outside, and while the interior didn't look half bad either, the fit and finish was not good at all. You could pretty much touch or press anywhere inside of the cabin, and it would creek and make cracking noises like crazy. When driving it as well, you constantly heard rattling, creaks and squeaks. Not to mention the 900cc Turbo from the previous model also felt pretty gutless and weak, quite similar to a non Turbocharged 1.4 N/A engine, plus the turbo delay. I ended up going for a 2020 Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost, since the interior is allot nicer, higher quality and better made. Not to mention the power and performance feels leagues better, despite not having significantly more power on paper. The ride in the Fiesta also feels really sporty and engaging. Haven't had a chance to try out the new generation Clio though, they aren't available here yet. Another thing that made me go for the Fiesta was its impressive tuning capabilities. I'm planning on doing a Catless down pipe, full exhaust, intercooler, Oil Catch can, intake and tune to mine. It should be good for power of around 170 horsepower reliably. Some people push even further than that, but it's my daily driver so i wouldn't risk it.
@@BASH_ANGEL Cars don't easily rust here where I live, it is extremely dry, warm and it rarely even rains. And the 1.0 EcoBoost has been on the market for 8 years now, pretty much all of the problems have been sorted out. I have many friends with 1.0 EcoBoost vehicles, be it Focuses, Ecosports or Fiestas such as myself, any none of them have anything but good to say about the engines, both performance and reliability wise
What an annoyance that Renault didn´t come up with this good looking rear end for the Zoe. The Zoe rear end is just boring, if not ugly. But in the end I don´t see it when I´m in the car ;-).
I have a clio V zen, but my rear lights do not turn on in the shape of a "C", how is it activated? ….it only turns on the upper led strip of the rear lights…
Exactly the review I was looking for, thank you very much 😎👍

Enjoy driving your "fun" fiesta. (Until you start not enjoying the constant visits to garage. Not to mention the rusts after a year.

Can you test HONDA HRV 1.5 TURBO please 🙏?
Are the materials inside high quality?
depends on the trim level, low trims are cheap, high trims are very nice

Is it only me or do 90% of the interior parts (switches, rpm, shifter) look exactly the same as in the new Dacia Duster?
@@stevetsan3226 I known but the Clio is the more expensive model
It's the other way around, the Duster got the controls from the Clio.

Si, zen e attuali equilibre non hanno l’C-shape. Bella scoperta anche per me 😩
