There is no assurance in any faith other than Christianity that you will go to Heaven. All others there is only hope that you were good enough. Its all about what you can do. Even some Christian faiths like Mormons twist this. If its about what you can do then, all of the glory goes to you. If its about what God has done for you, then God gets the glory.

I am born again, a good friend of mine is Eastern orthodox. We have great discussions all the time about our beliefs. He's very adamant about going into church history etcetera. I could tell you the church I attend we study the Bible book by book verse by verse. At the church I attend the Bible is the authority not man and tradition. Basically the Reformation happened because man-made traditions and sacraments started entering into the church doctrine. The Muslim man said Old Testament believers were saved, but they really weren’t. They weren’t saved until Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead for their sins, just like any believer. They went from where they were to Heaven after Jesus died because they were then saved.

To Wahlid on the question of:"Who invented a new Religion here." When you look at the Old Testament stories, they stay consistent throughout the law and the prophets. You look at the Old Testament and the New Testament stays consistent in the stories and events of the Old Testament. When you read the Qoran, all the stories and events of Moses, David and other prophets change. They re invent the stories and events to fit the narrative of Islam. In the Old Testament, Abraham lays down his son ISAAC (the promised seed of which JESUS is a descendant of ) on the altar whereas in the Qoran it's Ishmael that is offered. The New and Old Testament agree together but both Covenants disagree with the Qoran which came 500 years after Jesus fulfilled the Covenant. Since both the Old Testament that the Jews still follow and the New Testament which the Christians still follow both still agree together on the stories, events and prophecies and both disagree with the Qoran which religion would be considered the "New Religion"?

The New and Old Testament agree together but both Covenants disagree with the Qoran which came 500 years after Jesus fulfilled the Covenant. Since both the Old Testament that the Jews still follow and the New Testament which the Christians still follow both still agree together on the stories, events and prophecies and both disagree with the Qoran which religion would be considered the "New Religion"?
