I'm so glad Sinner and Italy won this. He seems so genuinely happy and he seems to love the team format. I know so many people keep talking about him losing to Djokovic in the ATP final but he's beaten him 3 times in 11 days and I feel like if he had to choose he would rather win the Davis Cup than the ATP finals given how happy he looks. He lost in group stage of atp finals which he has won 7times or 6 i dont even remember and avenged his loss in the finals. Even the greatest sometimes lose, Wimbledon finals was way more devastating than some group stage match or davis cup which he also won in the past.
Tennis players never want to lose any match. There's no such thing as choosing which match to lose. But the best is to win right after a loss, which is why Sinner was so happy.
