Its true... Being an NITian i am facing same things... in first year seniors miss guide us ki 7.5+ aur skills pr kaam kro.. Reality is -> skills matter but only with cgpa for on campus placement.. and if you have invested 3-4 yr of life and money in a college then you definitely wants to grab on campus placement with less tension ... otherwise gpa only doesn't matter for off campus placement which is tough to grab ...
So maintain GPA which is an easy task .. and grab placement with less efforts in early stage.. then in future grow in that field and explore more and more 😃

Guys I'm first year student in nit warangal mme branch , my 1st sem exams are completed by today , I think this sem I might get 6.8cgpa (because I wasted alot of time in this 1st sem ) I prepared just 1 day before an exam , I used to not listen teachers lectures , now I realised that how much time I had wasted instead of preparing , software companies has put 7.5 cgpa as minimum cutoff for campus interviews , if work hard consistently from next sem can I get 7.5cgpa after 4 years ?? Sir it depends from college to college. Sometimes topper in college get 8.5 cgpa because of tough marking scheme so we need to consider such factors as well.

Bhai mere 11-12 utne acche nhi hai but if I am determined to study everyday for btech cse can I score good also kya mera past matter karta hua ki mai kaisa tha ya abh jo karunga woh hi matter karega.
My sister used to study 1 day before exam she never do any other stuff just study what they teach in lectures just for a day and get 9.5 cgpa ,but she slept only for 2hr and shes very sharp minded from childhood

Hii..please make a video on what all preparations to do or skills to acquire in 2nd year for internship in the next year
Most important thing is to apply for research internship in NIT IIT and IIIT and other colleges specially new ones coz very few people apply there and chances are too high to get selected.
Just see their requirements and add those skills in resume, study basics in 1-2 day before interview and that's it (I got this way😌)
