Sheldon has a high IQ while Missy has high EQ. The brilliance of Paige is that she has high IQ and EQ which makes her this interesting complex character. She can converse with either twins and be friends with both but still feel lonely because there is a side of her neither twin can keep up with. She needs the twins to be present at the same time to be saved because they can rationally relate and speak to both sides of her in one setting.
That's also what makes her suffer. She's aware of how she's different, unlike Sheldon who lives in ignorance of it. Ironically, Sheldon's low EQ makes him successful in the IQ world.

I agree, but my experiences were different. I was in college 72-76 and our college had a LOT of fraternities with houses on campus, and lots of parties with the house being on tap. At my 40th reunion we got to talking about that and as parents now how risky it sounds, and to a woman, they all said that they knew that if they were too drunk (or high, it was the Seventies) someone would make sure they got home okay and were safe. I'm sure there must have been some bad stories - no college is filled with saints - but I never sense an attitude they drunk co-eds were prey. Once in my house, a girl passed out on our pool table, and we put her on my couch, gave her a pillow, blanket (and bucket) and left her alone.

For all people who fears that Paige's story will end sadly, there is an other idea, why Sheldon wouldn't mention her later. Lets assume Paige and Sheldon are routing for a high valued science project. And Paige gets it. We all know how jealous Sheldon can be. Thinking, he was the best option for this project. So Paige gets an high Place on his enemy list, and he never mentions her, because only mention her name, would make him very angry, a feeling, he can't cope with.
That does make sense. As he had like 61 people he put on his list. Several made amends and got off the list. Will Wheaton and Tam as we know from the Big Bang Theory. You just can't 'betray' Sheldon in any fashion. I mean I would think his brother Georgie was on the list...being he wasn't even on speaking terms with him. Until his mother made him talk with him...

They may even have originally thought the character would be a one off, but people really liked her and they may have realized that there was more they could do with her. All of us have people from our childhood who were a part of our lives (even a big part of our lives) and with whom we long ago lost touch and never once mentioned to our spouses or adult friends. The page story line is starting to give me she's not coming out of this vibes. I know there are lots of reasons as to why she isn't in tbbt but at this pion she has played a massive pat in sheldons life and to not be mentioned is strange. Also the character development young Sheldon is on is interesting because I don't see him becoming the Sheldon he is at the start of tbbt. But with the death of his dad and other life experience comping up I guess he will change but if he loses Paige around this time too it would explain a lot about him and him not wanting to let people into his life. Also if he doesn't get the chance to one up here it could also do some damage to him.

So makes sense on his 30's lose total contact with people from his childhood

The show has hit a snag at this point. We all know where Sheldon ends up and over a decade of details of his adult life. Heck given how Sheldon was portrayed at the beginning of TBBT even giving him any kind of romantic interest is mostly off the table. Yeah, the show is not always consistent as to some degree they have to take artistic license but most of what happens to him is pretty well mapped out. True we know what happenes to Sheldon's family also, but Georgie and Missy were in like 3 episodes total between both of them, they got a lot more wiggle room and other then Georgie owning the tire business and Missy having kids most of whatever else we got was such small tidbits most would not call them on not acknowledging them. And we know nothing about MeMaw other than she was still alive so they can do practically anything with her and not conflict TBBT. Sheldon't parents are a bit more restrictive, but we know little about Sheldon's mom even as much as she showed up besides she never remaries after Sheldon's dad dies. George Sr. they have taken some liberites with, while he does drink he is not the drunken redneck Sheldon's stories told in the early BBT episodes and so far Sheldon has not found him with another girl. So it is clear they some retconning since his dad being a fall down drunk serial cheater like was implied in TBBT would have been way to dark. But even then it seems unlikely they are going to ignore him dying as that was such a defining part of TBBT, so he is a bit stuck in we know he sadly comes to an early end but beyond that they can do mostly what they want with him. Sheldon is just hard to do much character groth with as he mostly was the same this show started to how he was in The Big Bang Theory. They have taken some liberties (most notably it was implied before Leonard Sheldon basically never had any friends, where he has made several friends throughout the show who to one extent or another would also consider him their friend such as Tam, Billy, Linkletter, the guys in the neighboring dorm, the bully who got protective of him in high school, the geologist girl in high school, and even Paige and the blonde girl who is in the same class as Sheldon have all become his friends to some degree or another)
I am just afraid that paige will not have a happy ending...because she was never mentioned in the adult show...we had seen adult Georgie and tam...but never paige..so yeah..i am afraid it will not be good..

Tam only appears in tbbt after young Sheldon started, before that no mention , Paige was only going to be in one episode so just another name on Sheldon enemies list. As for Georgie he is only seen in the wedding episodes and is barely mentioned before that, basically Sheldon doesn’t think about others even those close to him.
Or it could be what happens with most childhood friendships…..they drift apart and lose touch and neither one of them tried reaching out to the other🤷♀️

First of all,the show is about young Sheldon and being the protagonist of the show,he did that character perfectly.When it comes to Paige,yeah she might have better iq than Sheldon but the main character is Sheldon and they are rivals,at the same time time they are friends also,I just regret that at last they didn't fall in love ,and if they did ,the series would have been a joy and a win 👉👌👈
This plot line is a huge missed opportunity, you'll notice that Sheldon has done literally nothing for a season and a half, this could have been a great opportunity for him to give good advice or give emotional support (even if it's accidental), but instead they throw Missy in at the last minute to keep Sheldon as a jerk
Nah i think it's great, u see young sheldon season 1 was all about sheldon but to be the show it's at it's best when it's about the coopers, Georgie,Mary,George,Missy etc . they all had bigger storylines and the how just got better.

From the time she appeared and finishing opening the door, Georgie had come to the conclusion she didn't have it and started to ask. It's not like it's a big item that she could not conceal. It's a toothbrush.

It's amazing how little I care about the main character in a show but SO MUCH about the supporting cast around him!
The producers know this.
The show has hit a snag at this point. We all know where Sheldon ends up and over a decade of details of his adult life. Heck given how Sheldon was portrayed at the beginning of TBBT even giving him any kind of romantic interest is mostly off the table. Yeah, the show is not always consistent as to some degree they have to take artistic license but most of what happens to him is pretty well mapped out. True we know what happenes to Sheldon's family also, but Georgie and Missy were in like 3 episodes total between both of them, they got a lot more wiggle room and other then Georgie owning the tire business and Missy having kids most of whatever else we got was such small tidbits most would not call them on not acknowledging them. And we know nothing about MeMaw other than she was still alive so they can do practically anything with her and not conflict TBBT.
Sheldon't parents are a bit more restrictive, but we know little about Sheldon's mom even as much as she showed up besides she never remaries after Sheldon's dad dies. George Sr. they have taken some liberites with, while he does drink he is not the drunken redneck Sheldon's stories told in the early BBT episodes and so far Sheldon has not found him with another girl. So it is clear they some retconning since his dad being a fall down drunk serial cheater like was implied in TBBT would have been way to dark. But even then it seems unlikely they are going to ignore him dying as that was such a defining part of TBBT, so he is a bit stuck in we know he sadly comes to an early end but beyond that they can do mostly what they want with him.
Sheldon is just hard to do much character groth with as he mostly was the same this show started to how he was in The Big Bang Theory. They have taken some liberties (most notably it was implied before Leonard Sheldon basically never had any friends, where he has made several friends throughout the show who to one extent or another would also consider him their friend such as Tam, Billy, Linkletter, the guys in the neighboring dorm, the bully who got protective of him in high school, the geologist girl in high school, and even Paige and the blonde girl who is in the same class as Sheldon have all become his friends to some degree or another)
Ngl young Sheldon's seasons became a lot more abt the people arnd him then abt him, i mean Georgie's life is honestly really entertaining to watch
Paige, in many ways, is like Sheldon and Missy combined.
I am just afraid that paige will not have a happy ending...because she was never mentioned in the adult show...we had seen adult Georgie and tam...but never paige..so yeah..i am afraid it will not be good..

Tam only appears in tbbt after young Sheldon started, before that no mention , Paige was only going to be in one episode so just another name on Sheldon enemies list.
As for Georgie he is only seen in the wedding episodes and is barely mentioned before that, basically Sheldon doesn’t think about others even those close to him.
Or it could be what happens with most childhood friendships…..they drift apart and lose touch and neither one of them tried reaching out to the other🤷♀️

First of all,the show is about young Sheldon and being the protagonist of the show,he did that character perfectly.When it comes to Paige,yeah she might have better iq than Sheldon but the main character is Sheldon and they are rivals,at the same time time they are friends also,I just regret that at last they didn't fall in love ,and if they did ,the series would have been a joy and a win 👉👌👈

This plot line is a huge missed opportunity, you'll notice that Sheldon has done literally nothing for a season and a half, this could have been a great opportunity for him to give good advice or give emotional support (even if it's accidental), but instead they throw Missy in at the last minute to keep Sheldon as a jerk
Nah i think it's great, u see young sheldon season 1 was all about sheldon but to be the show it's at it's best when it's about the coopers, Georgie,Mary,George,Missy etc . they all had bigger storylines and the how just got better.

Yes it is!! . It’s actually part of the Warner Brothers Studios lot . Many movies and Tv shows have used that fountain either for background scenery or for the friends intro . This fountain was also used in a scene in the 1993 movie “Hocus Pocus” .

No offense but Missy might be in trouble in this scenario... but if they listen to how she handled things she should be, out of all their younglings, the ONE THAT HAS THE PARTY RIGHTS. It was impressive that even though she knew she would be in huge trouble for lying she was ready to call her mom for help and willingly get in trouble to help Paige.

There was a clip before this scene wherein she went to find her toothbrush, therefore, he asks her if she found it
@Just for Usage He didn't ask if she found it. He asked, "Where is your toothbrush?" She hadn't even put two feet in the house yet when he started asking. From the time she appeared and finishing opening the door, Georgie had come to the conclusion she didn't have it and started to ask. It's not like it's a big item that she could not conceal. It's a toothbrush.
