Anica, bravo! Never give up!! It’s a great example of “No mistake” lifestyle! Thank you for sharing the process with all oopsies and ideas how to resolve them ❤️❤️❤️
Please do whatever works best for you. We are all learning along with you, even to the point of learning how to take an oopsie and create something beautiful from it. I used to think that I could never make things beautiful like you do because you made it look so effortless. Now after practicing for about 5 yrs, becoming a czt, and continuing to learn alongside you and others…I know it is not about the who/the artist but about the “what,” what does the artist do with the materials when an oopsie presents itself. You modeled so well, just turn the oopsie into a learning experience. It gives you an extra chance to be even more creative. Speeding up, showing it all, or cutting out some parts. We will learn however you do it because you put your entire heart into the work.
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful message. 🥰 Five years ago, I started with edited video snippets without any narration because I lacked the courage, and I just wasn’t relaxed enough to do it like this. This journey has been a huge learning curve and still is, which is what makes it so appealing. I can never learn enough. 🥰
Hi Anica! I love watching your YTs for this, thank you! Xoxo I also really related to what you said about getting bored if you repeat a tangle too much or have to follow the same pattern for a large space, I don’t see how some people can do them over and over on those large mandalas. I’m exactly like you that way and it made me smile. Thanks for continuing to share and be vulnerable, I appreciate you!
So true! I don’t know if you saw my short video with Heart Nouveau, but you can see there: I color, a small section then jump to someone do some line work, and just switch from one thing to the next to avoid boredom. 😁
I like the filling in because it reminds me why I am doing this at all…and learning how to adjust for ‘oops I-tunities”is a life lesson as well. Thanks again.
Thank YOU again, Anica! “No Mistakes!” 🤗 I love it! I watched through the Ooopsies. Then I started tangling with you in the “correct” procedure. Guess what? Just to make you feel good, I also created the same ooopsie! 😂😁 Accidentally! 🤗
There's nothing I like better than watching you tangle❤ I've learned so much by just watching you. Thank you Anica for all your tips and suggestions on all your videos 🙏
I say do what is best for you. We are so lucky for any little tidbit you so kindly share. Once again, the result is lovely. No oopsie in my eyes. You made it look intentional. Tangle on! Thanks Anica❤️
I can easily fast forward through things like inking in, or pause if I’m tangling along. But I think you have a great balance and have watched all your videos as presented - it’s relaxing and informative. And your “oopsie” was a wonderful teaching moment - I think it made the tangle even better actually!
Thank you for your videos, I’ve recently discovered Zentangle and enjoy your videos so very much. I don’t mind the coloring in, it’s very relaxing and goes along with the music in the background and makes it all part of getting into the “zone”. I practiced this tangle before I watched your video and made exactly the same oopsie . You mentioned about how to say each second , it’s said, every other one
I love watching ALL of the drawing and shading. If the projects are very large and long, taking an hour or more, then perhaps some skipping or speeding up is okay, but even this video (oopsie and all) is not overly long. While don’t think there needs to be discussion the entire way, some explanation is nice and seeing how to overcome an “oopsie” is very valuable . Even your mention today about drawing all the lines one way then turning your tile/page to draw the opposing direction is very valuable. The way you present gives me confidence to try tangles that are very intimidating to look at finished. Thank you!
I opened this one by mistake. I meant to go to Day 13. In that one, which I don't like very much . . . I saw what would be a fitting hat for a clown's costume in it. I am going to attempt a drawing of a clown in a sort of "Tangled Art" way on a 3.5 in. x 3.5 in. tile. I think that it will be fun to do. As a little kid . . . I really enjoyed the clown acts when we went to the circus. I think your videos are priceless.

So true! I’m happy with the way that this format makes me be 100% authentic, with all the imperfections. If it was a tile, I’d just start over. 🙃
Yes, Ludmilla, no mistakes!
The imperfections make the video even more interesting! ❤
Glad you think so! It’s authentic and human. 🥰

That is the amazing thing about zentangle…the learning never stops.
I even enjoy your mistakes! You showed us how to relax and carry on joyfully even if things don’t go the way we want them to. Great job!!!!
Thank you so much! 💛 That’s the main benefit of doing this on one big tile - it’s very real, nothing can be hidden. 😊

Haha that’s cute! Those tangles really require focus!
There's nothing I like better than watching you tangle❤
I've learned so much by just watching you.
Thank you Anica for all your tips and suggestions on all your videos 🙏
You are so welcome 🥰😊🥰 - I appreciate your feedback! 🥰
I really like this tangle! The “oopsie” part is actually pretty cool. I love watching your videos.
Glad you like them! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for the smile 😊. I tried 4 times before it lookef like an X. Thank goodness for scratch papers.
You’re welcome 😊🥰

Thanks so much, Judy! 😊 There is something deeply human in sharing it all, oopsies and everything. 😊

Beautiful work,thank you for sharing!!
Thank you too! 🩷

thank you so much. I appreciate your feedback. 🥰🥰🥰
The oopsie actually made the tangle easier for me to understand. Thank you so much for your oopsie 😂
You’re welcome! 😊🧡 I’m sure it’s not my last time! 😁
My wish would be no editing , show it all... very relaxing almost ASMR-ish ... you have a soothing voice and even your mistakes are brilliant!
Wow, thanks! 🥰 I appreciate it! ❤️
It looks great can’t even see the mistake which there is no mistakes in zentangles.
Just another proof, right? 🥰
Sometimes I see the diamonds. Other times I see the Xs. 🐸
You’re right - shading can also change that persoective!
