Today I'm coming back to Enlisted to check out the newest update which added amphibious tanks (LVT(A)(1), and Ka-Chi), float planes, the Pacific War campaign and a new playable nation - Japan.
Enlisted is slowly becoming War Thunder with infantry.

My subconcious projectile trajectory indicator has been on point since the day I was born so technically War Thunder was already in me.

In warthunder my 3 y/o daughter always asks me "boat tank?" and I bring up the Ka-Chi and she freaking loves that thing. She's got good taste.

CAS is balanced in Enlisted as well. Yesterday a guy in the enemy team spawned a plane right at the start of the match and survived until the end and got like twice as many kills as the second best guy.
My best game of enlisted was in a BF-110 if I remember, ended on 180 something kills and no deaths… yeah cas has never been balanced

Remember though that infantry can also shoot at planes, so more guns can shoot the planes. And it's not like there are very fast planes in the game to really make too much of a headache.
Skill issue
Ka-Chi is definitely everyones favourite floaty boi in any game, it might tickle when you get hit by one of the shells though.

It survives due to spaced armor, LVT survives due to crew size and just empty space. Both are hated by those, who don't have APHE...

Really want War Thunder to make those authentic/realistic sights and sight locations default like in Enlisted. Gives the vehicles more character and in the case of SPAA, makes shooting at airplanes easier. The interior modeling of the vehicles is also very nice.
But note to self, don't let DOLLAR anywhere near an airplane. It it flies it will soon crash with him. Great stuff DOLLAR, wonderful video to end my night.
I feel like in War Thunder realistic sights would be too difficult to use for majority of players. So we have these simplified ones.

I love it when you come across another player and t bag with eachother before moving on. A bit of humanity among the bots! Still fun to mow down bots though in any case
@Ballistic Berserker nah, grinding has turned into a nightmare, and broken mechanics are still there. I keep playing it because I have a premium account for a few months, but it's not worth it.
@Ballistic Berserker If you're not caught up by grinding, I find Enlisted very fun.
@Ballistic Berserker i mean you play warthunder, you should know the level of grind. It's tolerable for us WT players lol. And the Snail fricking knows it.
@@梓あずき well, in wt you can enter a 2.0 tank or plane and the game is fun, air sim is even played mainly at tier 2 and 3, so you don't have to grind much

Awesome video. You can leave the tank only with the active crew member (the one you control) by pressing G. The rest stay inside.

Ahh nothing like starting the morning with a DollarPlays video!
as a heads up when in tanks you can select the crew slots to us the gunner and driver seat, so if you have dead crew mates you can get into the driver seat to drive and the gunner seat to turn the turret. the other useful thing is that the gunner seat will show if you are able to penetrate an enemy tank when aiming at specific parts and gives you a better zoom than the commander.

I really like playing this game, tried it several days ago, haven't played Pacific yet
The notion that every bullet, whether shot from a tier I or tier 30 weapon, will still be able to kill a human, made me plays this game like a lot, + I don't mind having to grind for every soldier for every faction for every campaign lmao,

Hey dollar, you can view outside with tank by scrolling your middle mouse button, it will be like simulator battle view in War Thunder. I see that you also pressed W after bombing run thinking it was a accelerate button, I too make the same mistake, adjust power with middle mouse scroll! Your videos cheered me up as always, please keep it coming!

@@darrellhartanto4428 yup, it is. Russian T-50 (Moscow Campaign) also don't have hatch view. Or at least didn't have it when I last played it (around August 2022)..

(back when I played) You can jump out of your tank and then immediately tell your squad to start climbing back in. That way, if you die, it's not a mad dash for the squad to get back in under machinegun fire. You only lose one guy.

Love the video as always, and I like the game I even tried it for a bit. But there’s a LOT of AI and I kinda like the BattleField style of everyone being an actual player better.

Enlisted is pretty damn solid, love the tank realism carried over from War Thunder. Hell Let Loose drives me nuts with its simplified armor modeling.

Enlisted looks promising and has huge potential to be something like a Heroes & Generals aswell that, but the monetization kinda makes me worry, though it's still in beta so I can understand they want to milk some money, though I do hope eventually gameplay-related unlocks that do matter will be unlockable later on. Also, my main gripe is the squad AI gameplay, it gives too many easy kills. They should just allow something like 50vs50 conflicts or bigger instead.
AI makes the battles to feel much bigger, and you don't need that many people to populate a match. Not sure if they can afford 50vs50. Depends how many people play the game, and also there's like 6 campaigns now. All need to be filled up
@@DOLLARplays I can understand that it can make the battlefield feel more alive, but y'know, it doesn't feel as rewarding to kill bots and it doesn't help when you can't differentate real player from AI, making you lower your guard around real players aswell. Heroes & Generals (an example I bring up the most due to playing it more, though there are other examples that done it quite good aswell) managed to make 18 vs 18 gameplay possible with also aircrafts (even paratrooper ones) and tanks available and it was amazing (before devs started shitting on the game).
Even 36 vs 36 would make it feel more alive and it should also be possible with today's technology. If Battlefield and other companies can afford to have so much players in huge maps, Gaijin shouldn't have much problem with it either. I would make only a few things AI like paratrooper pilots and artillery operators (would be useful if we had a commander and radio operator class for this).
I can agree AI can make the battlefield feel more alive, but the AI should be Stalker level of AI to make me feel like the battlefield is actually more alive.
It's kinda funny to see that in Enlisted they added a mechanic to quickly change camos to tanks while in WT your client still have a fucking stroke every time you switch vehicles

Enlisted needs to be in Steam for a big grown on the numbers, but damn that game it's great. I'm happy to see how he transforms into a mini War Thunder

Man in enlisted I make a habit of using bombed out structures to conceal my mortar crews or anti tank guns or mg nests and you can sometimes put them on the second or first floor of complete structures and fire out the windows or doors with almost complete concealment and cover but very limited range of fire, its usually useful as a way to cover a route to a obj or roads really

This game is actually fun. Even P2W vehicles arent too bad because planes dominate. The battles sometimes are amazing. Ive stopped fighting sometimes just to watch a tiger tank fight 2 shermans or watch pilots have dog fights. The game needs some fine tuning but it gives me early battlefield vibes
