I bought this palette and regretted the purchase every since. Until I saw your video, I have recreated every look, and I love them. Thank you for doing this 5 looks 1 palette series. I have found so many more ways to use all of my palettes. If you have any Visart palettes, that would be wonderful.
I have really hooded eyes and when I don't want my shadows to transfer to my hood, I unscrew my setting spray and put a drop on my finger from the straw then tap it with another finger to thin it. Then, I dab that overtop my eyeshadow. It works really well. Not foolproof, but it's better than nothing!

You’re fantastic and I am going through all your 5 looks 1 pallet and giving them all a thumbs up. I started to pay attention to how many subscribers and views and was shocked that they weren’t in the tens of thousands. How can I help promote you other than subscribing and giving thumbs up?
If you mix a shadow with Duraline, it makes it waterproof. I have hooded eyes and usually use very thin eyeliner on top lid, with or without a flick and use a good upper waterline liner. This way the liner is divided 1/2 in and 1/2 out so less lid real estate is used as far as the lid. This way the eyeshadow is the star. Great looks. My favorite one was the blue green one. I have brown eyes but frequently a blue shadow is too much ( I try to do a partial blue) although I do like green looks more. Anyway, you did a great job, as usual. I do like this pallet, but it’s more challenging for me to use, since I prefer pinks and purples. Thanks for the inspiration. 👩🏻🎨👀😍
I think gilded, burnished and blended foil when I use Metropolis it’s a unique vibe that sometimes takes me a little while to get into but once I’m fully immersed I can use it for a week. It’s so many textures and finishes with nuanced differences. I especially love there are so many cream powder shades.

I don't even have this palette, i have the gold, sunset and sunrise and didn't think i could justify this one. But you always make such pretty looks. Your eyes are not that hooded, they really don't look like it to me. Mine are much more hooded and I can't do looks this nice. The green really looked just like your eye with the gold reflects and was so pretty. Green looks and blue looks are the hardest for me and I have brown eyes.

I have even more hooded eyes than you and I get way more creasing no matter what and can’t seem to get the ideal placement and gradual blend. But I just keep watching anyway. I’m late in the game. But glad you have this video I can refer back to. Just decided to get the metropolis. I have other ND palettes and I find I enjoy my safari which has a lot of colors…. I love these looks. They're complementary to the creative, very blue and green looks from Annette's Makeup Corner. I actually was having trouble holding back and creating neutral looks. Good to know about the Enigma transfer. I like to use a mixing medium (Duraline or NYX Glitter Glue) and/or spray the brush for eyeliner. I also spray some setting spray over my eyeshadow before pencils and mascara. I've given up on wings on my hooded eyes, but yours look fantastic.

We both have similar eye shapes, (almost identical blue/grey and gold) colors, and hooded lids...I'm wondering if you spritz your eyeliner brush slightly with the All Nighter, then dipped into Enigma before lining, if you would keep it from transferring...I'm going to try it, and then update you. It's a beautiful look/combo...I love oranges and blues together! Anyway, You created some really beautiful looks, Patty. I was so excited to get this palette. I went to Sephora 2 days ago to get it and I tried a look at the store (since the palate was brand new) and it looked horrible! I had one of the makeup artists try and it still looked horrible. I walked away disappointed, not buying it. Looking at your 5 looks it makes me want to buy it all over again. I don't know if it's a combination of your expertise, lights, and your large non hooded lid space but now I want it! Do you thank it is a palette that a novice can use?

I just ordered the PMG V from the sale, I'll see how I do with that and my hooded crepey eyes. If that goes well maybe I'll get this, it seems like such a good value, but only if I can use them
I would go and try again if you really want it. You can always ask someone at Sephora for a brush to try the palette on yourself. I don’t think it’s the best palette for beginners because some of the shades are dark and you have to work a lot to blend them. I hope that helps! ♥️

Biba for sure and the majority of the browns in this palette pull orange. Just so your aware. I love my Biba palette, I returned my Metropolis. (Just my opinion)

I love warm tones, I have 6 Viseart palettes that I adore. 😁 💜 Are these shadows that much better than Viseart? It's a toss up for me between Biba and Viseart's neutral mattes 2 and maybe the Coy palette. (when Muse beauty has their sale at Christmas again). IDK what to do. I love Viseart shadows, but I would love to try ND's formula. Is it really that good? So many people's palettes have fallen apart. 😁 Shadows have just fallen out of the palettes. It's such an expensive palette that I would be heartbroken if I bought it and shadows fell out of the pans. 😁 💜 How is your black shadow and the shade seed holding up? @@PattyAlonso I went on Temptalia last night to check for Biba dupes and similarities between this palette. There are six shades from Biba that are close in the Metropolis palette, but in this palette for those six shades I think you get about double that are close in range of color. As far as Biba dupes, it seems that I have a lot of them in my Viseart Neutral and Warm Neutral Matte palettes. Also, in my ABH palettes there are dupes in Soft Glam and in Jackie Aina's palette. 😁 💜 IDK if I need Biba necessarily. Metropolis maybe a better buy for me or I am still contemplating Viseart's neutral matte 2 plus either their bold matte palette with the bright shades or the Coy palette. Muse beauty always has a deal for holiday. Two palettes for $129. Or something like that plus they throw in brushes. That is how I bought my Viseart palettes. 😁 💜 Best palettes and purchase for my kit. 😁 💝 💋

Great tip! But there are shadow sealers you can find from ben nye, kryolan or mufe. They make eyeshadows waterproof/sweat proof.

We both have similar eye shapes, (almost identical blue/grey and gold) colors, and hooded lids...I'm wondering if you spritz your eyeliner brush slightly with the All Nighter, then dipped into Enigma before lining, if you would keep it from transferring...I'm going to try it, and then update you. It's a beautiful look/combo...I love oranges and blues together! Anyway, You created some really beautiful looks, Patty. I love this palette, because the options are nearly endless, and the quality of the shades are unbelievable; My favorite Natasha Denona palette thus far! Great video as always! Thanks Patty! 💖

I was so excited to get this palette. I went to Sephora 2 days ago to get it and I tried a look at the store (since the palate was brand new) and it looked horrible! I had one of the makeup artists try and it still looked horrible. I walked away disappointed, not buying it. Looking at your 5 looks it makes me want to buy it all over again. I don't know if it's a combination of your expertise, lights, and your large non hooded lid space but now I want it! Do you thank it is a palette that a novice can use?

@@gracielaprovost6072 I was content with my decision not to buy it because the looks I got were awful. Seeing how Patty made them look so beautiful I am rethinking. I just ordered the PMG V from the sale, I'll see how I do with that and my hooded crepey eyes. If that goes well maybe I'll get this, it seems like such a good value, but only if I can use them
I would go and try again if you really want it. You can always ask someone at Sephora for a brush to try the palette on yourself. I don’t think it’s the best palette for beginners because some of the shades are dark and you have to work a lot to blend them. I hope that helps! ♥️

Biba for sure and the majority of the browns in this palette pull orange. Just so your aware. I love my Biba palette, I returned my Metropolis. (Just my opinion)
I think BIBA is easier as a starter palette! ♥️

I love warm tones, I have 6 Viseart palettes that I adore. 😁 💜 Are these shadows that much better than Viseart? It's a toss up for me between Biba and Viseart's neutral mattes 2 and maybe the Coy palette. (when Muse beauty has their sale at Christmas again). IDK what to do. I love Viseart shadows, but I would love to try ND's formula. Is it really that good? So many people's palettes have fallen apart. 😁 Shadows have just fallen out of the palettes. It's such an expensive palette that I would be heartbroken if I bought it and shadows fell out of the pans. 😁 💜 How is your black shadow and the shade seed holding up? @@PattyAlonso I went on Temptalia last night to check for Biba dupes and similarities between this palette. There are six shades from Biba that are close in the Metropolis palette, but in this palette for those six shades I think you get about double that are close in range of color. As far as Biba dupes, it seems that I have a lot of them in my Viseart Neutral and Warm Neutral Matte palettes. Also, in my ABH palettes there are dupes in Soft Glam and in Jackie Aina's palette. 😁 💜 IDK if I need Biba necessarily. Metropolis maybe a better buy for me or I am still contemplating Viseart's neutral matte 2 plus either their bold matte palette with the bright shades or the Coy palette. Muse beauty always has a deal for holiday. Two palettes for $129. Or something like that plus they throw in brushes. That is how I bought my Viseart palettes. 😁 💜 Best palettes and purchase for my kit. 😁 💝 💋
