    One bit of feedback from what I saw. The AI seems way too aggressive at times. They were able to clear the entire al-Qaeda command complex by holding two angles because almost a dozen enemies just kept rushing the players. I’d really like that to change, so after 2 or 3 guys get killed, the others actually adopt defensive positions instead of continuing to make suicide charges through fatal funnels until all of them are dead.

      @@itsallmakebelieve9151 that isn’t how they fought in this battle. Their objective was to repel the Americans and inflict maximum casualties if they couldn’t wi outright. You don’t do that by running into their bullets when defensive positions are available.

      Completely agreed. Seeing that brought to mind a famous bit of combat footage from Fallujah where the opposite happens - some troops are clearing a structure from the top down and the enemy refuses to budge even after grenades are thrown downstairs; after explosions and silence you hear them defiantly chanting the takbir. Knowing that the enemy is persistently holding angles you can't see is probably scarier than being rushed by a horde.

    Blood pools and wounds would be really great for a game like this. I definitely think it would add a lot of weight to the bodies if they slowly bled. Imagine the weight of stumbling upon an insurgent leaning against a wall in a pool of his blood. Think RoN style gore.

    Tracers move wayyyy too slow. Looks like they’re walking from your teammates/APCs barrel to it’s destination. Looks funky af

      Yeah the ejected cartridges looked like they were moving in slow motion too. I don’t know whether they turned down the effects speed or something but it does look quite odd.

      There was a bug unintentionally slowing down tracer vfx. Fixed in latest build.

      This game is very much a janky title being hyped by TH-camrs thirsty for good tactical shooters. That probably sounds too harsh, it may be fun! Will it be more fun than Insurgency Sandstorm’s coop mode? Who knows! I’m definitely picking this up if it’s good. But it’s very Indie compared to other shooters. Keep that in mind.

    Intense and just perfection, whatever people say about “not being able to see in the dust and dark” I wouldnt have the devs change a thing, its probably the most real Ive ever seen.

      correct. firing rifles in a dark dusty environment is going to create its own dust fog. that's completely realistic and adds to the atmosphere and immersion

      I think the flashlight could use a slight buff so it can be used more effectively. From a few clips I've seen, it almost looks useless even when there isn't dust, and especially when used from outside in. Maybe give it a boost to AI detection to offset? Make them more agressive when using flashlights? Or maybe it's more realistic this way, between desert sunlight and dark interiors. Beats me.

    One thing you forgot to mention about the AI is the random pop shots. There was a couple times including one time that you vocalized Where you guys took a short burst of enemy gunfire near your position and both you and your fellow team member quickly turned to address the threat and there was nobody there. That is a big pucker factor. Great AI design in this game

      I mean they kick up a insane amount of dust and debris. You see them trying to breach the AQ compound at 4:30? They couldn’t see crap cuz of the frag they put in there

    I think it would be cool if the AI could lock or block a door with say furniture or anything else they could get their hands on i believe it could be a nice feature where the players would either find a way around it or maybe even try to blow through it it would add say random inconvenience but i think it would be dope

      They can do that in game. I don’t know if it’s done dynamic or done when the level is loaded, but there are blocked doors.

    I think it might be refreshing if there were a few more buddy heal animations. Granted you don’t get hurt much so maybe there are multiple, but having a few animations to cycle through or depend on what area you get hit would keep it extra interesting

    Tell the devs to Add a corpsman/medic kit and change the incapacitation state from a kneel position to a supine position and make the soldier wiggle around in pain then give his teammates the ability to drag him in to cover and heal him

      I feel like the kneeling position is much cooler and seems to be a little more realistic than the ragdolling for people bleeding out in squad. I think it's pretty close to what would happen in real life (I've never been shot before so idk) assuming the bullet only grazed it's assailent. The assailent in this case being a marine.

    I was an infantryman for 11+ years, this looks solid. I see people talking about tracers, not a real thing, that would give you away IRL. My best was around 80lbs alone, so the slow movement is a real feel, it could be 114 degrees outside, and we wore too much shit. Love what the devs have done, and your team communications was amazing. Great work on both sides.

    Can you also use the shotgun to tear wooden doors apart for external clearance like Rainbow Six: Vegas and the Modern Warfare campaign? Sound design for this weapon could use another pass too. It's all thump and no bark, like it's suppressed or occluded

    The Enemy AI maneuvering to flank and ambush is on point!
    Though there are also those cases where they do the classic AI thing and just funnel through a doorway; Hopefully that could be reduced
    also I wonder how suppression works in this game, does AI actually get suppressed? It doesn't look like players have any form of suppression
    The tracers/bullets seem to travel a bit slow as well
    The effect of dust being kicked up by explosions is cool to see! Adds some challenge to using frags indoor (tho it doesn't seem to have much effect outdoors). I do feel that the sound for them however seems a bit lackluster

    Love a ton of what I saw, but one thing that I always appreciate in a military shooters (games or movies) is how blood and gore is used to communicate the horror of the situation. I am not at all asking for Gears of War level gore, but maybe some more pools or splatters that stick around. Limb removal isn't necessary to communicate horror of war but it does help. Maybe it's in there and I didn't see.

    The lighting and dust effects are some of the best I've ever seen in a game. I love that it takes a while to adjust to the lighting indoors, how intense the dust flareup is, looks badass and what I'd assume blasting off HE indoors would look like.

    Ai is too aggressive, here. Looks like they just keep zerg rushing the objective. Would expect to see some more dug-in fighters who hold a point with grenades/shooting through loopholes

    The more I see of this, the more I like it. However, a couple of points I'm wondering about:
    - When you shoot enemies, do they react to being wounded? As in, if you were to tag an enemy who is peeking from cover once in the leg, would they keep engaging you as normal or would they try and get back into that cover/escape? I think it would be interesting if there was a mix of some enemies who are more suicidally brave, along with some that are more cunning and when under any effective fire dart away and relocate/heal up.
    - Related to the above, I'd be interested to know if fragmentation has a simple kill radius like more arcadey shooters, or if it also has the chance to wound a little further out. Hard to tell how the frag grenades were working in this video (similarly - M203 HE).

    From the videos and photos of the actual battle, the Marines had foregrip, bayonets and bi-pods on their A4s. Would also be cool to have hand to hand combat qte events when cleaning buildings. Also insurgents should be able to randomly play possum when shot or pull a grenade to blow everyone up when injured. Blood trails should also be a gameplay feature to track insurgents and for insurgents to track you. Gore could play a psychological factor into the game like limiting vision, hearing things no one else can, etc.
    Cosmetically, the Marines also had the woodland Interceptor vests/crotch protection and desert netting on their PSGAT helmet with desert digital (same as their uniforms) to disrupt their silhouette. Also Marines didn't always blouse up their pants and also wore their kneepads around their ankles when they're not in active use.

    Wow. This game is so intense. The craziest and intense part for me is the smoke and dust the covered the building when you entered the target building. I got to pick this game up.

    One thing I would like to see utilized more of is medical attention animations for the various stance positions like crouched or prone, I find it a bit weird that sometimes when bandaging or tending to a teammate it appears to default to the standing position.
    As for the AI, I would like to see some more exploitations of murder holes by them, as well as an occasional grenade throw or drop by them, with the possibility of incorporating a suicide bomber in some situations.
    In terms of mission wise, I think utilizing AA7V for a more fire support option is something that could be used, however the counter to that would be an opportunity attack by the AI with RPGs or in some cases mines and defusals for it.
    These are just some things that I think would improve the gameplay based on general observation, and I am eagerly looking forward to the game after many years of waiting.

    Loving it so far. As for the core gameplay I think it’s perfect and I know the Devs said they will eventually add AI teammates, I just wish it would be implemented for launch, similar to ready or not.
    Few suggestions:
    1) I personally believe the first person animations are a little robotic, and look outdated, I would like to see a little bit more realism and snappy reloads. Doesn’t have to be fast , but just less robotic.
    2) I would like to see more blood and possibly a gore system, I know it’s early access but that would be cool to see realistic bullet holes in bodies and more blood.
    3) I know the issues with tracers looking slow is a bug, but it would be nice if fixed before launch.
    4) maybe a mission editor, or a replay mechanic so you can possibly watch your gameplays and maybe make some cool cinematics with a free camera or screenshots for content creators

    Honestly my only complaint is the tracers, though it's one of those minimalistic things.
    Besides that, and I think someone else mentioned it, the AI was very aggressive, especially during the assault phase.
    Right now, it seems pretty clear- you push, take it, counter attack. Obviously I haven't played, and we haven't seen spectator style footage to really watch the AI, so maybe its just the editing or what I've gleaned, but-
    I'd like to see the AI being a little more dynamic, less static, without too much hard pushing. More lethals, hard suppression, etc.
    I think the besy way to supplement this would be a buddy>team>squad>platoon system using different levels of leadership and capabilities, with the primary goal to manuever on the player(s) from as many directions as possible, and covering eachother. Different individuals would have their own decision making, but having leadership levels to form some sort of cohesive effort could make for a tougher more genuine experience.
    At the end, they just seemed to push- but I think even just a buddy team suppressing the rooftop could've made the situation less manageable and could've allowed for an insurgent victory.
    Perhaps the AI could use more niche equipment at some point, like grenades, too?

    This game is already to good. As someone who's studied operation phantom fury, and the whole post operation fury engagements in fallujah as a whole. This game just puts everything in a different perspective for me.

    I think the main things that should be switched up are the tracer speeds and the ai taking a more defensive stance after a certain amount of their guys get dropped. Other than that, I’m so excited for this game. Been wanting to play since 2009.

    The dynamic cover and leaning system is great! Similar to RS2, now just need weapon stability bonus for 'mounting' on the surface aiming down sight. It lessened the sway of ADS, spread on your shots along with Hold Your Breath/Sprint key when not against cover.

    Are there booby traps and sandbagged positions in buildings? Barricades of furniture in buildings? Hiding spots in random holes in the walls/floors/ceiling/closet, where the enemy can wait and ambush you? S vests and VBIEDS? Civilians? Does the enemy even have a voice? Is there a prayer call? On one hand, I don’t want to overcomplicate the game. I think a lot of games get super ambitious and sometimes I miss some of the classic games that really kept things simple. On the other hand, stuff like what I mentioned would be awesome and add a lot of playability beyond only pulling the trigger

    I’ve seen documentaries where they would drop frags when they were wounded to try one last attempt to kill marines. It would be cool to add that. Maybe add more civilians to make it harder to distinguish tangos when breaching houses. Something to think about.

    The game looks amazing, but it needs more atmosphereic elements, like distant cobras and blackhawks flying around, lots of radio chatter, the sounds of abrams tanks in the distance, stuff that makes it feel more like a larger scale conflict than just one squad all alone in a huge city.

    Maybe more enemy memory so they don't all rush like zombies, but cover fire or move back and find cover to make it feel more realistic. Also have enemies scream Allahu Akbar, I say this to allow more emersion , because of footage seen in many close quarter battle footage of hearing enemy soldiers scream it when they engage targets and everytime they fire. Also a great feature would be in some missions to have civilians, that u should watch out of and arrest or evacuated. The NPCs I think is very good but could be better in facts of injury aswell, allowing other NPCs to bandage their comrades or move back and take cover after a comrade has been killed, but also have heavy formation pushes and counter attacks that the NPCs can do like suppress fire and enemies flanking.

    Shoot through walls, hand grenade explosion should have lasting particle effects given there's dirt and sand and dust and rotted wood etc. All bangs should be heard louder from farther distances. Tracers need to be faster. 40mm bangs should be like a loud thud and should linger for a second as the explosions are throwing chunks of matter after compression (because that's what causes explosions) definitely need more smoke and particles from bullet hits. Idk if there's IEDs or not but that'd be cool. Getting hit by ricocheting bullets and blinded by bullet impacts would be cool. Grenade explosion shrapnel effects. Destructible objects.

The concept seems really cool but, it would be nice to have maybe some kind of expansion at some point? Like for weapons, suppressors, optic, NODs and other gear.     Here’s my 2 cents.
    As many people have pointed out, the tracers move way too slowly.
    Now, I don’t know if this is already a feature or not, but adaptive triggers would be amazing, especially for console. Think lighter triggers for pistols and rifles and heavier pulls for machine guns. To piggyback off of that, I want the sound design for gunfire to be heavy. I’d love for the player to almost feel the recoil of his weapon kick back as if he was actually shooting a gun in real life just from how loud the gunfire in-game is mixed with the appropriate vibration from his controller and adaptive triggers.
    Gore would also be amazing. Not just the visible wound you see on your player or others in-game, but on the enemy AI. If you kill someone with a grenade, they shouldn’t just rag doll. I wanna see some limbs go flying lol.
    I genuinely feel like a good model for this game would be Enlisted. Of course let the developers have their own freedom. But that game has among the most realistic features I’ve seen in any game.

    That will be totally chaos/shitstorm when yourself in the center of bullet storm.
    The explosion of grenade(both hand hold and launcher), enemies’ battle cry, injured’s screaming and wizzing of bullets etc.

    I hope you can customize your character, face, clothes, gloves, shoes, tucked in pans jacket, rollup, sleeves, and so. Cool to be able to boost up your fellow soldier, and the other one reaches him to drag him up. Speaking of drag, maybe drag your fellow soldier when they down or maybe to do a mission if someone dies in your squad, you have to bring back your fellow soldier. Don’t leave and the soldier behind.

    The only thing I hope they implement. Is diminishing returns on injury and recover. Seems like you can be injured multiple times and recover back to full operation into the fight. I feel there should be either something like movement speed loss or ADS stability loss or something.

      Receiving injuries actually does restrict movement according to the devs. I just guessing it’s not easily visible in the vid since they were injured when they were camping out on that roof.

    So far I’m super excited i agree with other commenters on the tracers moving super slow it looks bizarre hopefully they work that out also i felt like the shotgun was super quiet almost as if it had a suppressor on it overall though I’m beyond excited for this game and cannot wait to get my hands on it as a console pleb

    A high-ready and/or Low-ready would be great.
    Insurgency Sandstorm style rag dolls would definitely add to the impact of hitting a target.
    The sounds of the pistol and shotgun need some more ‘bang’ and less ‘thump’

    i waited this game back in 2009, then when its reappeared couple of years ago i thought like okay but actually didnt believe that it would be possible to came out someday
    now im watching this and it looks like really interesting game, love the animations, sound is just awesome
    reminds me a little of first two brothers in arms games
    not sure about proceduraly generation, but at least in the video levels looks interesting
    and i hope that i could play it just by myself, singleplayer style like old times
    i love that hardcore shooters live and there are many of them novadays, but they all just pvp usually
    what i hoping for is a game like brothers in arms, rainbow six, ghost recon, vietcong, hidden&dangerous, hardcore but not only in pvp maps, also with interesting campaings

    I'm curious why the aiming down sights is only looking over the front sight post a lot of the time. Wouldn't that really mess up your point of aim? The overall soundscape is pretty great, but I'm not a huge fan of the raw sound of the M16, shotgun, and frags from what I've heard. The indoor gameplay looks pretty scary though especially with those smoke/dust effects after the frag goes off.

    My only question is if the itl mars will be in the game as what i know is the only other sight besides the acog was used in Fallujiah. I do like the acog sight however i struggle using them in tactical shooters well if you consider rainbow six siege a tactical shooter still and as well in insurgency sandstorm. But besides that I love how this game looks and im excited for next year when it releases for console!

    This is looking pretty good. Getting some gameplay out there of the game is the best way to get people hyped. A few things I'm curious about: just how customizable is the HUD? It would be good if you could add or remove elements individually, so that people who aren't as used to tactical shooters can be eased into the immersion a bit more. Also, is there a manual check mag/ammo button like in Ready or Not or Insurgency? Finally, I'm guessing loadouts are pre-built kits and you have the option to choose which kit you take at the start of the match? Will there be limits on how many people can take which kit?

    Can't wait to play it. I think one thing I would like to see is citizens in the towns to add to the realism. The only people you see are the bad guys. Otherwise, it really looks awesome.

    One thing that bugs me about the M16 reload is that he doesn't hit the bolt release when inserting a new magazine after the weapon is completely empty. Instead he racks the charging handle. Don't get me wrong, guys do rack the handle when reloading for sure but the most common way to get a new round chambered is to push down on the bolt release.

    Where are the Peq2s? I get not everyone is running pvs7s or nods at all but peq2s are just aesthetic. Also, what’s with the charging handle reloads? With the m16s when you do an emergency reload instead of the bolt release they use the charging handle. Just weird to me

    Seemed like the grenades lacked impact. Not only the ones the threw down the stairs, but the one that was on the roof with you, hardly had any impact 10 feet away. I don't know the realism of it, but it felt less impactful that what I would expect.
    Dust effects inside were awesome.

    i want this game to make my 4090 SCREAM for mercy when those fire fights erupt... sparks, smoke, casings, tracers, sound design, blood, sweat, tears, IFV tracks squeaking and turning any odstacle into pancakes that finds its way underneath a track, RPG explosions, suppresive fire so intense my own eyes are squinting. i wanna walk away from my PC after a play session of Six Days In Fallujah with an almost "WTF just happened" sort of PTSD gameplay experience replaying in my brain. And on the other hand saying to myself "yep, my ears are deffinitley ringing! that's is TOTALLY worth the in-the-zone, tunnel vision, taliban shooting tinnitus i just gave myself! OORAH!

    The attention to detail is stunning However there is some criticisms some of which can be observed in operator drewski's video such as the sounds are very weird or underwhelming such as gunshots and explosions. Would also like to point out the slow tracers at the beginning of this video. However another good thing about this game is the teamwork aspect and slow methodical speed also observed when your friend had to patch you up on the rooftop

    Does the movement feel stiff? I can't really tell from watching but one of the main gripes about similar games they feel sluggish or limit your opportunities I am sure the contextual cover system helps it a lot.

    So i reslly hope at some point they put a little nod to the srmy who fought in Fallujah one of the few Medals of honors given out in irag to a living person was giver to an army guy who was fighting in Fallujah Sstg Bellavita while mostly a marine fight there was a fairly large number of army mechanized infantry in the city as well

    When you’re looking around, the camera seems really stiff. It would help with immersion if there were more character animation and a tad of motion blur. The game looks so good so far! Can’t wait to play on xbox series x!

    Intense! But I still think ARMA 3 "Invade and Annex" missions are the most realistic. However if this Game gets to the point where more than 1 squad can play the same mission at the same time, that would be awesome.

    imagine if they used something akin to the nemisis system to create a list of high priority targets that have certain boosts to the hostile ground forces and these comanders vy for power and attack each other . this system could be based on the CIA issued most wanted card deck to take down sadam and his officers .
