Thanks for the detailed video. It is very helpful to all of us. Just one quick question. It will be a manual task each month to update this version, so is it possible to automate to ensure the testing team always gets the latest version and then others get it after a few weeks? or is it better to use Windows autopatch and the rings to control this?
Thanks. And very good question. Yes to control the version you have to manually update the version but automation is possible to updated every month and notify you via mail. You can use autopatch which is great but it is set for automatic updates. (No version control) You and your business have to take a call and decision.
the only way to push this update is to manually click 'update now"? Im not able to force update to all devices with bulk sync or ime checkin once policy is assigned to all devicea?
@@ChanderManiPandey if I dont do it manually will the automatic updates pull from the latest version on the monthly enterprise channel or the target version only? if i use the latest version from monthly enterprise channel, I cant tell if my policy worked so I decided to use an older version as the target version 17531.20210 but I got error code 303183-27 (400) Does the update channel and path need to be enabled for this to work?
@@ChanderManiPandey does the target version need to correspond to the same channel configured in policy? e,g can i use a target version from the current channel even though policy is using monthly enterprise channel?
