I love these, what starts off as wacky upbeat (most of the time fast but not for this song) songs become relaxing and enjoyable songs all because of the change of pace, the different instrument and the voice (which is lovely btw) Overall these covers are lovely and i would buy all of then just to play them as loops
Rewatching this because I have a very special relationship with this song since it's the first song I learned to properly play on the ukulele, all because of this video I watched of your cover of it. Still love how soothing and calm this version of the cover is, it's great. Since then, I've been practicing with the lil gee tar lad so I can better my skills, plus it's been a really good destress for me from a lot of things going on with my life. From the bottom of my heart, I thank thee for inspiring me to be besties with my Apple Tater (that's the name of my uke) P.S. I also rewatched this because I am bracing myself for the new album coming out so very soon, and I'm really excited to see Wood's revamp of this song that will be included in the album, I'll most likely melt when I'll hear it and I'll be quick to try and play the remastered version and all the new songs along with the album because they will all be bangers!!!
