I went to Forever Resort Warmbath this week-end (friday and saturday night) to rest and they basically made it impossible for me to relax and destress.
Room aircon of the expensive hotel was rattling because of a broken motor, making it basically impossible to sleep and the next day when I wanted to take an afternoon nap, they had maintenance people in the room so I had to leave.
The management is so disconnected. They showed no remorse and basically just tried and find ways of justifying themselves. Hard and disconnected people.
So sad. Tourism has lost its heart there.
Its like if you pay for a meal at a restaurant and they bring you no food just excuses about the oven not working and why they cannot help for it and basically now you are supposed to understand and leave without food. I had to pay and leave without rest, and they feel justified because they have their excuses.
When tourism loses its heart, of connecting with people, and providing rest to those that need it, then it basically lost everything.
What will it take to fix that? A different heart attitude I suppose. Tourism is a ministry, its not just a job. Forever resort does not seem to 'get' that. How many other resorts are the same? Its a sad state.
