You didn’t have to hear him out, but you did and that was very cool. Look man, coming from another dad gamer, I get he’s frustrated because maybe he doesn’t have a lot of time to game but you gotta play with the same attitude you’d want to teach your kids. The first thing said to you when you load in a game is “watch for other operators in the AO.” The entire point of the game is to compete against other players because without risk there is no reward. You have a good head on your shoulders though dude. I hope you realize that you chosing empathy tells you as much about yourself as you might’ve learned listening to him.
Man, that was really cool that you took the time to talk with the guy about that stuff your views, his views, ECT. And I agree with you 100%. I suck at DMZ, but it’s all I play because it’s fun. I loose 90% of fights against other players but it’s just a unique game mode that is fun for so many reasons. Even dying to other players often it’s a blast.
I'll be honest i used to be one of the people super mad about PVP in DMZ. And you know what i think it was honestly, i just wasnt good. Solution? I got good! Like seriously it only bothers you if you cant fight back. I realized DMZ wont always be friendly, so i adapted and got good enough to fight and enjoy it! Why i love DMZ is that it doesn't always have to be cutthroat, sometimes you have awesome or hilarious encounters with strangers, sometimes its a toxic fight to the death, but every run is different and playing warzone is not the same and not near as fun. Theres no other mode that asks you to progress through missions and upgrades while tackling other players at random, it feels way more exciting than any other mode! Keep up the great work Dillon, your PVPing the toxic people, particularly against 6 man squads is helping the game! Not making it worse. Like you say, you often pick up if people are just decent about it.
I totally get both sides of the story. I have kids, and play 6 hours a week on the sweatiest nights, and mostly do solo material. However, i look at content like this and want to learn to not panic in PVP scenarios and generally get a better game sense. I dont think that streamers are hyping up the pvp, as most of the hc's go to other modes. I find the last guys argument a little flawed in that he thinks your some solo killing machine. In that, like not 5 seconds before you killed him, someone yelled friendly, and you got back in your car let them go without a seconds notice. Old mate needs to be better at stealth and not gravitate to hotpot pvp areas, you cant just hope ppl will go easy on you all the time.
Dillion you’re a hell of a player and it’s a testament to your character letting that guy come on and rant. And I love how people call you a cheater or hacker as soon as you kill them so funny. Keep up the kick ass game play.
Yeah, I feel him though. Battlefield sucks and DMZ can be ripe with aggressive PVP Platoons. Weird goal that he just wants all of his DMZ profiles to be max exfil streak and kitted. Like Dillon said, "then what?".
I really admire watching you play. You are without a doubt the player I most appreciate and from whom I try to learn. seeing you listening that player at the end…was without a doubt the “play” that I most appreciated in your all streaming’s. Such an enormous respect. wow!
I feel you on this mate the amount of times I hear people telling me I have to revive them or why did I kill them "because its a PVE game" so many disillusioned players out there . Love the pvp content though 👍
I understand the frustration from the last guy but honestly he's totoally wrong. If everyone is nice on DMZ and everyone picks people up, you'd get through all your missions fast and people would get bored of it very quickly. It's the combination of the risks of losing everything you worked hard for, and people having mercy and compassion that keeps the fun going for me. The heart crushing defeat, the fury I feel from being killed by premade 6 man, and the adrenline rush of surviving final exfil with 4 teams coming up to you is what keeps me coming back to DMZ, and honestly I don't get that level of excitement from any other game I play.
Now think about someone who has a job, wife, daughters, a mother to take care and just play once per week to have some fun. I play DMZ since season 1 and I just got 30% of it done. Weapon cases? I got probably 3-4. If DMZ was still just BOTs, I would not get everything done by now. In my humble opinion, you are considering your reality as the general reality. Some of us, casual players, are in DMZ just to enjoy some time... not to have all the adrenaline rush or to face PvP all the time.
@@ricardoschuh568i hate pvp in dmz, specially if im on a mission, i always say "if u wanna kill players, the go to the fucking Br/plunder if you are so brave to kill players in dmz" some of us only wanna play chill or just to relax, thats why MWZ is better but only because there is no pvp
@@thedarksoul2279 then you are completely missing the point of dmz, go play zombies if u want to play a pve extraction shooter. The thing that makes DMZ great is that it is PVEVP, period. Just because certain people dont have the time for it foesnt mean the majority of players need to change the way they want to play it to accommodate them. Get good at PvP or go play zombies l, simple as that.
Dude thanks for actually hearing that guy out! It kinda sucks that you just kinda said, “get good, don’t play solo if you don’t like dying.” Because I only play solo, even when the game first came out I never assimilated with people, so I do all my missions by myself. Me and my dad play this game a lot and we have the exact problems that this guy is ranting about, he just wants to hop on for some casual fun after work and looking after the kids. But recently this is all the game is! 6 man’s running around like badasses killing everyone on site, leaving people like this dude in the dirt. Anyways keep killing em Dillon, I always love watching your videos!
i can completely understand getting fed up with pvp players just killing you as a solo over and over, but my point is you know the risk when you queue solo, you might have to fight 3-6 players on your own if you dont have a stealth vest to stay hidden. in an extraction shooter you are entitled to NONE of your loot. so if you die a lot while solo and you still enjoy playing solo that is perfectly ok. but trying to control how other people enjoy the game is where the entitlement goes too far. i personally try to help any person that is cool about it but i dont think anyone should HAVE to be friendly in dmz. thats my take
@@dillonfps I totally get your point, plus it’s just what the game has turned into. No one should tell you how to play and enjoy the game. The guy who ranted to you didn’t sound like he was trying to be a dick and tell you how to play the game, he just wants people to understand that there’s a lot of players that enjoy the PVE and looting aspect of dmz. My dad hasn’t played a cod game since WW2 and dmz got him hooked because of those aspects, but with all the updates infinity ward pushes players like them away.
Loved that ending man, super genuine and heartfelt. DMZ brings a new battle dynamic with large maps and only limited by time and not the circle in warzone. Great content man 👍🙏
Kudos to you for listening to him, I get the frustration of loading in a game and handling your missions/exfil streaks/ or what have you. I’ve come to terms with it and don’t whine and cry, I’ll plea if I have a mission item to see if I can finish it… if not I’ll just do the mission again. At the end of the day it’s a game, and they’re meant to be enjoyed… I think I get most upset when the game crashes at the loading screen and I didn’t even get a fair chance to die to someone better! It’s mindset man. Keep it up dude! 👍👍
Killing whoever is part of the game. Just because someone is solo or simply asks nicely does not mean you have to pick them up. Because even in the mission sense of the game their is aspects of killing operators and extracting their tags which you cannot do by picking them up. Let alone some players whine like a child for their things back after picking them up which you clearly earned by strategically killing them as a solo. And this whole notion of letting someone know your friendly is fine, but don't expect everyone to be friendly. Especially for people who cant hear, understand, or speak english as well as you. Dillon genuinely picks up anyone and lets them do their own thing even humbly giving them their items back or more. He is cool with everyone including the first guy he killed he would have picked him up but he was being blatantly obnoxious. Which just doesn't make sense to plead and leave right away after the fact. Pretty silly.
They are just entitled man boys. They think they have power and when its taken away from them they lose it. Video game meltdowns. These are the same adult men who will yell at waiters, cashiers, service workers.
My girl has tuned out 90% of every single dmz video I've tried showing her, and she heard your demeanor, and heard you talking to the dud at the end and got super curious and came to watch
I play solo because 80% of the time having random teammates gets you killed XD also I think solos are the most dangerous threat in the DMZ since they aren't weighed down by downed squamates or delayed decision making or rotations.
Just like in WZ, I hope the devz make DMZ modes for solos, Duos and more to at least even the playing field.. Just my two cents... Nice upload Dillon.. 👍
there already is that option solo assimilate up to team of six, dillon proves the six man pre made squads that other streamers try and bad mouth are just them picking at something to cover up how bad they are, all show streamers they like you to think theyre the best or very good when really there skill and talent doesnt justify having the fancy gaming setups with bells whistles color changing lights blah blah they have all the gear and no idea, basically so they blame chines ore mades and 90% of sheeple go along with it
I feel that guys frustration. I used to be dumb founded on how certain players/streamers/contain creators do the things they do. After watching videos on adjusting controller setting and watching videos like dillon and practicing what they do, I see improvements. Dillon always keeping his cool no matter anyone yelling and screaming that he's hacking. 👏👏
Dillon bro been watching since your first video. Bro 100% agree with what you said. Battle royale 3rd party all day. Dmz the heart racing on the 1v6 or even 1 v3 is amazing. And then the feeling when you wipe their entire squad by yourself is just overwhelmed joy. Thanks for your vids keep them up bro
The players should really understand that dmz is PvPvE. Many missions even requires you to kill other players. I was mad before that I constantly got killed but in time you just get used to PvP and get better at it. Thats all. Nice video as always man. Keep up the good work!
I started DMZ as a PVE player that just wanted to get through the missions. It didn't take long until it was abundantly clear that people are out for blood and don't care about your agenda. If PVP is an option there will always be people going that route more often that not. It's human nature.
Nice to know the last guy wasn't as toxic as I thought, he was genuinely upset and needed someone to hear him out; he got lucky he found someone who's decent as most would've ignored him or even insulted him for it. Even more respect to him for calming down and keeping a level head when talking to Dillon cause frankly I was going into it expecting the guy to spout out toxic remarks, but he didn't.
I play almost exclusively DMZ solo. I die, I live , sometimes I take out players. I like the diversity of the game mode, having to juggle missions, bots, players, all with your loot on the line. I like it
Dude... I don't understand why some are complaining. I am playing solo 90% of the time because of the beauty of it. I am playing it stealthy though. Nevertheless, I enjoy watching ones like you, who are able to wipe out the entire lobby. If I get killed by others then back to the lobby and I enjoy the beauty of regaining again. I fully support your way of thinking. Keep it up 💪🏼🤙🏼
@Bennyblades44 people NEED to stop calling hacks. He's nasty at the game man. It is what it is. Mouse and keyboard you can flick back and forth between targets. He has crazy knowledge of the map. The difference between him and your average player, he has a stupid amount of hours on the game. I play like maybe twice a week, I get smoked alot. If you just grinded out some resurgence and practiced your aim and movement, you could be really good and then the next guy will say that YOUR hacking. Guys are REALLY good at the game, alot arent.
I’m old gamer too, this is what make the game fun , do missions but you might lose everything! Hate people complaining all the time and I’m not that good!
You’re right Dillon this game mode is not just meant for people doing missions it’s meant for PVP as well and you run the risk even if you come in so low of getting killed by an enemy player that’s just what it is And that guy needs to just accept it are used to be the same way as that guy and think damn I get killed every time I come in and I can’t even get a mission done but you get better that’s the whole point
PvP in Dmz is fine as long as people realize that not everyone is interested. Chasing down a solo, killing them, and not even looting their body when they have made it clear over prox that they are solo doing missions, is toxic and sad trash. Hitting up hunt squad contracts is valid, because you know you are being targeted and you need to act accordingly. Driving around shooting at stuff, or just driving around in general, is an invitation for PVP whether you like it or not. Shooting at anything that moves is absolutely debatable. I was driving past a gunfight, solo, and someone spun around to shoot at me, then returned to their fight when they missed their shots. That's where it's sad, because they're definitely just playing for kills without caring about loot, perk streaks, or missions. HOWEVER. The bots are easy right now, so the PVP players are the new challenge.
I think the PVP needs balancing by the addition of more meaningful mission content but the actual PVP is the best of any game mode. The battles can be epic and way better than you’d get in any other BR
The man has a valid point! He sounds a lot older than me and like him I want to play the game solo/twos and compete missions. Now season 6 I hopefully complete all missions like you
I am playing COD now for a month or so, so you guys understand I am pretty bad at the game 😂 as much as I hate being attacked for no reason I must say it’s seems part of the game even in DMZ. I do enjoy watching some of the streamers not all of them because I really don’t like toxic ppl, and many streamers playing DMZ are quite toxic unfortunately. You seem to me being quite reasonable person you got yourself a sub brother 👍 Any tips for a new player? I am struggling the most with quick moments and tracking players 🤦🤦🤦 Keep it up!!
I don`t think I ever ran into a cheater in DMZ. We picked a random guy who said he just got taken out by a chinese hacker.. he was beyond pissed. A few minutes later we encountered that so called hacker and he destroyed us. His tag looked familiar as a streamer I watched before so I checked out his vids later that day and watched him destroy the guy we picked up and our team..lol.. Keep making those bangers vids brother
Man i will say this on every upload of bro. The most honorable player. His ego dont get in the way of showing love n respect. Besides his genius gameplay those teo factors make me watch ALL of his content. I was very ignorant to think Loochy and On1c to name a few is one of the best. But Dillion...league of his own. Movement and in game awareness of the F charts
Yeah that was me, I like Geri so I’ve came to the last 2 customs. I am on a weird setup right now though so I had to play controller so my gameplay might have looked different lol
@dillondmz Nice, yeah I had fun with those games, first time running a collab with Geri. I think we will be doing it again. I'll have to hop in a game with you for fun!
Not playing online for about 8 years when I found DMZ I thought it was more like spec ops than just PVP. For the first few seasons I actually took it pretty personally when I was cut down repeatedly. I’ve learned to not let it get me down and to cherish the positive DMZ moments.
i kinda get how that last dude feels lol. dmz is so addictive that if activision would be open to the possibility of creating private servers, I would definitely have one to myself xd
i may be mistaken but dmz was primarily aimed at Pvp, pve came second as a thing to fill the maps up a bit, if they want pve only cant they just buy the game and do the campaigns lol
I used to hate pvp in dmz because I was a noob, now I’m getting better I enjoy the intensity fighting other teams during my mission grinding moment. PvP is part of the game, sometimes you kill and done your mission sometimes you get killed have to star over, that’s the way it is.🤓
I feel this statement, my problem tho was I ran with a couple dudes who liked nothing more than to run a full round without seeing a single person... then I met a couple folks along the way that enjoyed the hunt... now my main goal is grinding out fights and missions side by side while studying choke points and learning the easiest to access high ground in a pinch.
You can't appreciate the highs if you don't also go through some lows. My trio squad has been wiped by a solo, but I'll never forget the time I wiped a 5 man platoon when my two friends were dead. Prox chat has done more to separate the mature gamers that are fun to co-op with from the ones that can't process their emotions.
I played with you the other day, and I'm glad you graciously picked me [PoutyClover48] up. It was great to pick your brain about season 6 and how things got changed. Big fan of your content and your knife skills are second to none! Keep up the good work. I hope I run into you again at some point.
Personally, I like a mix between missions and pvp. I think the fact that the game mode allows the freedom to choose how you want to play is its biggest appeal, and the reason why I prefer it over BR/resurgence. I strongly hope that we won't see a drift to pve only. I would also be in favour of reverting the plea system back to S4(?), allowing to cancel pleas. Higher risk makes DMZ more enjoyable to me even when I do missions.

Love this guy, no intro no talking just straight into the madness love it .
"you actually should" HAHAHAHAH
You didn’t have to hear him out, but you did and that was very cool. Look man, coming from another dad gamer, I get he’s frustrated because maybe he doesn’t have a lot of time to game but you gotta play with the same attitude you’d want to teach your kids. The first thing said to you when you load in a game is “watch for other operators in the AO.” The entire point of the game is to compete against other players because without risk there is no reward. You have a good head on your shoulders though dude. I hope you realize that you chosing empathy tells you as much about yourself as you might’ve learned listening to him.
I hope I never care about dying in a video game as much as that 46 y/o dude.
Oh man I miss the Active Combat Zones, why on earth did they take them out...
This like the first dillion vid ive seen with mic, love it bro keep it up 👍
Dillion you’re a hell of a player and it’s a testament to your character letting that guy come on and rant. And I love how people call you a cheater or hacker as soon as you kill them so funny. Keep up the kick ass game play.
That last dude was so butt-hurt….shoot first ask questions later. He was just salty that he lost all his gear
Then son you have no brain 😂
@@thedarksoul2279 then you are completely missing the point of dmz, go play zombies if u want to play a pve extraction shooter. The thing that makes DMZ great is that it is PVEVP, period. Just because certain people dont have the time for it foesnt mean the majority of players need to change the way they want to play it to accommodate them. Get good at PvP or go play zombies l, simple as that.
@@exsparta well now i am in mwz, i finished 1250 levels in dmz for shadow comp skin and leave
That first guy was really mad he lost a gpu he probably had just found before you killed him.🤣🤣🤣
Dude thanks for actually hearing that guy out!
Great content man 👍🙏
Was a pleasure to meet you and get to play with you bud. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
why was homie so pressed damn if it meant that much to him he can write a complaint to Activision to disable pvp in DMZ 😂😂
😂😂
Whahahaa that guy you killed was like hell, what a laugh
That fight at the start under the dock, that was GANGSTER.
I play solo because 80% of the time having random teammates gets you killed XD
also I think solos are the most dangerous threat in the DMZ since they aren't weighed down by downed squamates or delayed decision making or rotations.
Just like in WZ, I hope the devz make DMZ modes for solos, Duos and more to at least even the playing field.. Just my two cents... Nice upload Dillon.. 👍
there already is that option solo assimilate up to team of six, dillon proves the six man pre made squads that other streamers try and bad mouth are just them picking at something to cover up how bad they are, all show streamers they like you to think theyre the best or very good when really there skill and talent doesnt justify having the fancy gaming setups with bells whistles color changing lights blah blah they have all the gear and no idea, basically so they blame chines ore mades and 90% of sheeple go along with it
yeah the 6 mans are becoming a menace.
Respect for hearing the old guy rant, it sounded like he really needed to get it off his chest
The smoke play and squad wipe @ 14:00 is the most absurd shit I have ever seen in this game
THAT SHIT WAS INSANE
I subscribed to you yesterday and am going through your past videos too. It's such a treat to watch you play. Massive respect for you bro 💙
9:49 duuuuude hahahaha "BULLLSHIT! BULLLL FKN SHITTTT!!" totally wrecked this guy's day
The players should really understand that dmz is PvPvE.
Thank you for taking the time to explain yourself to the guy. I think it helped him understand and come to terms with pvevp
I felt that missed throwing knife near the end in my soul dude. I've had way too many of those sign my death warrant on runs.
I like it
the conversation at the end was nice to hear
What was that conversation 😂 awesome
I die all the time as a solo... cause I'm not great at pvp. It sucks dying, but I'm getting better. Enjoying the grind.
You are how all people should think. Enjoy the grind, get better, have cool experiences. Win some, lose some.
Nearly 10k congrats bro
Amazing vid @dillondmz. The two jumping down dudes in sawa village kills were amazing. And thr three ontop of that building was tactical.
Brotha I feel you, I just die from kv with dragon breath as a solo xD
Dillion You got me waiting on your new videos like im waiting on my favorite show everyweek im ready for more videos. Lol
bravo to you for listening to that guy 'get that off his chest' - I wouldn't have the patience (so many holes in his logic).
Keep it up 💪🏼🤙🏼
Love your code man, and I share it too. I always tell people...even Dexter had a code.
Dillon never fails to disappoint keep it up man
wait.... never fails to disappoint? 🧐🤔
@57heffner hahaha
He must've worded it right haha. No retraction lol
This is like a guide on how to win with hacks lol.
HOWEVER. The bots are easy right now, so the PVP players are the new challenge.
good guy dillion😂
I think the PVP needs balancing by the addition of more meaningful mission content but the actual PVP is the best of any game mode. The battles can be epic and way better than you’d get in any other BR
This exactly. Like we need real rewards for pvp or a better system
yes! I actually enjoy way more the pvp at dmz
This is why i highly believe that tha addition ai supervision for comns is a nice idea
The man has a valid point! He sounds a lot older than me and like him I want to play the game solo/twos and compete missions. Now season 6 I hopefully complete all missions like you
bro the shit at sawah with the knives was crazy lol
But I admire that guy for not being like overly toxic like some of the other people
Hope to have a friendly encounter with ya in the DMZ someday! Loving the clips!
Killing it Dillon!!
I love how salty people get 😂keep slaying em brother 🫡
GG'S BROTHA ! MORE AWESOME CONTENT ✅
You seem to me being quite reasonable person you got yourself a sub brother 👍
Any tips for a new player?
I am struggling the most with quick moments and tracking players 🤦🤦🤦
Keep it up!!
Thankyou! Another TH-camr SiNisterFPS has great beginner friendly guides and tips on how to improve
@@dillonfps
Thank you I don’t know all the streamers yet but I will definitely check that out
🙏👊
I like your editing dude. Simple but effective! Nice vid as usual!
You’re pretty lucky to never run into any cheaters on DMZ 😂
What’s the taq56 build you used in the first fight? It has no recoil at all
Man i will say this on every upload of bro.
Wait till Dillon finds out he's a streamer
I like the gaslight on the roof
They really do need to fix the sniper hit register.
Hey were you in the custom warzone games Sunday? I saw the name but wasn't sure if it was an imposter or not 😂
Yeah that was me, I like Geri so I’ve came to the last 2 customs. I am on a weird setup right now though so I had to play controller so my gameplay might have looked different lol
@dillondmz Nice, yeah I had fun with those games, first time running a collab with Geri. I think we will be doing it again. I'll have to hop in a game with you for fun!
Dillon never disappoints. Good sht brother
Not playing online for about 8 years when I found DMZ I thought it was more like spec ops than just PVP. For the first few seasons I actually took it pretty personally when I was cut down repeatedly. I’ve learned to not let it get me down and to cherish the positive DMZ moments.
that first guy was hella mad lol
i would be mad too obviously if i did sent join team requests and was nice but instant trash talking😂
Oh, I miss those days where you have loot everywhere
i kinda get how that last dude feels lol. dmz is so addictive that if activision would be open to the possibility of creating private servers, I would definitely have one to myself xd
i may be mistaken but dmz was primarily aimed at Pvp, pve came second as a thing to fill the maps up a bit, if they want pve only cant they just buy the game and do the campaigns lol
What are your graphics settings?
I blocked pc players. Fixed.
That's why I love Plunder!
God yes! My weekend is now made with a Dillon video.
I’ve never seen so many orange boxes around the airport.
Dillion is a good dude. Started watching this channel after meeting him in Al Mazrah.
