Two weight cuts in a short amount of time (along with probable jet lag from being in Vegas a week before this fight while Whitaker was in Saudi Arabia for awhile) isn’t exactly an invalid excuse but Ikram had to take the risk and he came up short unfortunately.
I don’t think losing a short notice fight against one of the best middleweights on the planet as an unranked fighter takes anything away from his stock though. I’m sure he’ll only get better from here on out.

The only ufc event I’ve been to is ufc fight night Singapore 2023,the difference in atmosphere is so huge !!!
The crowd in Singapore was so awesome,the only good fighters in the main card were Holloway,Korean zombie and Anthony smith.
On the other hand the crowd of Saudi was dead literally dead ass..the main card fights were so awesome still.

I’m glad the UFC decided to visit us in the Kingdom. We had a great time at the event. It was well-organized, air-conditioned, and all-around fun.
The crowd was great and slowly got into the rhythm of things. It was a first but hopefully not the last. We look forward to better cards in the future.
