Saw him a couple of weeks ago at his private view for his exhibition at the Gibberd Gallery. He's incredibly passionate and energised about his work, which looked fantastic in such a great space.

FABULOUS, AS A COLOR ARTIST I CAN APPRECIATE HIS STYLE. THE BRIGHTER THE BETTER. LOL

do you have to add anything to get the paint thick like that?

Hi Slimnics, I wish I could be of more help but I don't know. I don't really do any painting but create video content for artists, galleries, and businesses. As far as I remember, I think there maybe elements to add to basic mix to change its consistency. If you take a look on Golden Paints website, there maybe some explainer content.

I think it's the brand that he is using. I looked it up, and its a very thick acryl paint -> golden acrylics

I add clear glue to put on thick paint and not have it crack(1/3 glue up to 1/2)....

It can only be impressionate if it's about a specific subject. These are mainly abstract. If you say it's a table, fruit, or building, you can add impressions. I do think he adds the most value to his works, he looks the part.

Sounds reasonable to me. And he certainly looks the part.
