Hey Damboi! Great video. I use this sim all the time and still learned some incredibly valuable insights from this video, like the stats page! I had a question about this sim, and sims in general, valuing 1% hast enchant to head and leggings over the +8 damage. My sim is currently showing the haste enchant being +6 DPS if on both pieces. I know it's nearly negligible, but I'm curious why this is happening. Any ideas? I think it's also good to note that most top-performing warriors use the +8 strength enchant.
Hey bud, Thank you - happy to hear brother. Well haste has less use cases - only if you're stationary and on the target 100% of the time. Where 8 str benefits you in all situations and affects all your dmg sources - where haste only benefits your white attacks.
Execute phase % should not stay the same tho. That option is the amount of time in the fight that will be in execute range. I. E a Boss fight lasts 50 sec, 20% execute phase option in SIM then says that execute phase will last 10 seconds. Which will never be true. And will result in sim valuing hit way to much. If you’re in a melee heavy raid you should set it to 10% or so
Hey Damnboi, was watching your input with respect to "Expose Armor" modifier. According to our guild's rogue class leaders, we don't use EA on any bosses as it apparently overwrites the warrior's sunders? What do you make of this and is the SIM correct in figuring this all out?
Exposed armors overwrites sunders, but if you specc improved expose armors it remove more armor than 5 stacks of sunders. So if you chose to not use sunder armor at all and instead let a rogue specced in Expose Armor us EA on the boss, it will have less armor.
Hey, @DamnboiTV :) Great video again, but I noticed some mistakes: th-cam.com/video/d5hN09IP664/w-d-xo.html - it`s miss chance (0%) on your white attacks if you are using 1h and shield, and miss chance (18,80%) on white attacks on both (MH and OH) , if you are dual wielding. Probably u said that 0% is miss chance for MH and 18,80% for OH by mistake, but sometimes warriors think that DW miss chance penalty applies only on OH. And i can`t agree with you that sim overvalue hit, becouse here th-cam.com/video/d5hN09IP664/w-d-xo.html u can see that miss chance on your MH white attacks is almost the same like it on left panel (18,85% for this sim and 18,80% on the left panel) and miss chance for your OH attacks is much more less (only 7,52%), becouse sometimes you are using heroic strike. And sorry for my "ingleash" :D
What are your thoughts on clicking on custom buff 3% more hit and clicking on 2% hit bread buff to try and ignore the sims over value of hit to see a more realistic increase on dps of items?
So Mainhand THC + Iblis Offhand is better then Gressil + THC.... Also, Iblis + Pugio is better then Maexxna + Iblis. Funny Simulations, everytime anybody tells me "use a slow weapon with more damage in the mainhand" and simulation shows them wrong. Or did I forgot something?
How come it seems ahlaundoh(top warrior in warfract logs) doesnt prio bloodthirst over execute in most of his top parses? classic.warcraftlogs.com/reports/T7b9HpvkzFV3JjNx#fight=18&type=damage-done&source=4
While bloodthirst is going to be better during the execute phase when compared to a minimum rage execute. A full rage bar dump will still be better. Ahlaundoh often seems to pop a mighty rage just before executing and with bipolar kill times she typically gets to execute only once. If you look at the twins fight for a comparison you can see a BT in with the executes in the damage done timeline.

Well - for the average/casual player its fine.
Like I mention - should you want to make it even more precise you can change all these settings. =)

Do you know why it puts tf higher dps as MH then cts?
Faster executes, sim always favor faster MH if you have it clicked on execute phase.
Also the proc is mental :)
