These masks are super duper cool! May I suggest using a bit of Vaseline around the hairline to protect the hair? Then you can just wash it out. Actually you could Vaseline the whole face to maybe get them off easier.

Hi froggy! You can use either paper or regular clay that's air drying. You can wrap plastic wrap on the face to protect it. It's more easier, safer and less messy that way :3
Love this. Did the hot glue melt the doll face at all? Also, would it help to rub a little coconut oil on the face before applying the hot glue so it doesn't stick?

you can cover your dolls face with thin coat of vasaline it will come of easly and will nor gonna ruin the doll, the plastic that uses on the doll face is changes between companies thats why some people could deail with a issue of glue not coming of that why you can use this hack:) 19 year old product design student here trust me:) HAPPY CRAFTING!

It’s probably too late to get a response on this, but do you recommend a low temp glue gun or will using a high temp one be ok?
