Consider mentioning (or adding a message on screen) this video in your other formtools video. I was watching that one and realize it wasn't the right part of form tools (for my purposes). I simply closed the video out and google again, coming upon this one. It may be a good idea to link related tutorials.
Hi m8, ty for your videos! I have a question about HTMX. When a user hardcodes a URL path to any of my views in Django and sends a request, it is obviously not htmx request. This breaks literally everything :D, because it actually loads HTML page on a specific URL, which i don't want. I tried to set HTMX headers in a normal request object to make it work like htmx request but Django doesn't save any of them. I tried to use process_template_response and set headers there, but it doesn't work either. How do you recommend to use HTMX in those cases?
it was mentioned in the documentation that the file preview is not supported, and I think this is normal, because If u have file upload field and u try to refresh the page, all the fields will be save except files and passwords, because of security.
Thank you very much for great tutorials

Thanks Daniel, I must have forgotten to link these videos. Apologies!
hey, great video, it would be awesome if preview form was on some sort of toast message or pop up window.
Yeah good call. I'll have a look into something similar, been meaning to do an HTMX / Toast / Alert video.
@@bugbytes3923 thank you, that's what I'm talking about.
is it possible to have the preview on a separate page? (with an option to go back to the edit form)
Thanks for the quality content..could you please make a video on django-reversion also..thanks in advance..
Thank you - I'll look into it.

Easier to do with HTMX.
Class-based views are a mistake.
