- Time to try some candy that I have never seen or tried before. I am amazed that there are so many! Many of them are from out of the country. Nice to see that America is doing a bit more importing of some fine candy.
The sounds in this video are simply plastic candy wrapper crinkles, some gentle chewing and my whispered voice.

Stroopwafels are even better when you put them on top of your hot coffee or hot tea cup and let them warm up a bit. So yummy!

Stroopwafels are amazing! I'm from The Netherlands and I usually eat them when I'm having coffee or tea. Try putting them in the microwave for 20 seconds, I think they taste even better that way 😊 (or you can put them on your cup of coffee/tea so the steam warms it up!)

Put the stroopwafle on top of a hot cup of coffee or tea so the cookie will warm and the caramel can melt inside. Heaven on earth!

Marzipan is a paste made from almonds and icing sugar. We use it in the UK to cover a Christms cake prior to icing and decorating.

Your whispers are so so calming, I’m always so excited to see a new video posted by you, Rebecca! 🥰 I used to buy those Stroopwafels in huge boxes at Costco, and they are so so good if you rest it on top of Your coffee mug to warm(just make sure the rim isn’t too wide or it’ll fall right in, I made that mistake once)! Lol

This video gave me so many tingles 😊 awesome sounds. And I love stroopwafels as well. My sister moved to the Netherlands 20 years ago, so I always used to bring a ton of them back with me. Thankfully now they also sell them in Germany. And Ritter Sport (the biscuit kind) is one of my favorite chocolates.
I really liked the Stroopwafel! At the beginning of this year, I made the decision to go sugar free. Alas, no more desserts. But now my teeth are staying cleaner, and my arthritis is not as bad and I have more energy. So these are good things. I am a regular dessert-aholic. Thanks for sharing, Nessie. Have you lived in Germany all your life?

Less or no sugar helps you lose weight and detox your body, but I‘m just not disciplined enough 😩 I actually started in January as well, but it didn’t last and it‘s hard to get back on track once you slip back into old habits. But lent is coming up. That‘s the time when I really can be strong 💪🏻 and resist desserts. Yes, I was born and raised in Germany (Berlin) and lived here most of my life.
It’s okay! We make changes when we need to. We can’t make make them any sooner than we are able. I was desperate. 🤣
My great grandmother was a native German. I do not know where she grew up. But, I have a lot of German blood in me.

I was so thrilled to see my favorite candy featured! I was an exchange student in Germany back in high school and the Ritter Sport butter biscuit has been my favorite ever since! So rich and yummy! 🥰 I always have the intention of just eating a few squares but that never happens 🤣

Loacker is an Italian brand, with two production buildings in Italy, precisely in the Alto Adige region, and one in Austria, that is a neighbor country to Alto Adige. The second language on the package it's Spanish, so you were correct the first time. Since that pack is for American export they used English and Spanish. Ritter Sport is very popular in Italy too! I believe that package made in Italy that you were reading was Spanish. The pronunciation was off, but I could tell what the words were.
By the way, I mean no offense. My Spanish is learned rather than native. I studied for 9 years and I'm positive I started out pronouncing everything incorrectly, which is how I could recognize the words. 🤣
No offense taken at all! You are quite gentle compared to some. I thought it sounded Spanish as well. But I thought it must be Italian if it was made in Italy. I took Spanish in ninth grade. That’s the most I ever learned. Except I had a few Hispanic children on my school bus that I work on. I picked up a few words there.
