As it's a little known song here too (I don't think I ever heard it on a Belgian radio station), I couldn't say really. 1000 Ohms best known song is 1981s A.G.N.E.S. and that is considered New Wave. Personally I'd say Love In Motion is Synth Pop rather than Italo Disco, though there is an influence from or similarity with the latter.
Much of the instrumentation in this track isn't sequenced... But details aside, this is a fantastic find! Thank you for posting a lost gem that will not trigger a hunt for more early-mid 80s 1000 Ohm records moving forward.
This track would work well in a movie nightclub scene, where the characters are having an argument it's just good enough to be believable as a club track, but not too bombastic to distract from the main plot
