I learned in this module each of stars have an evolution.they also have an life cycles which i was curious about but when it explains on my teacher i have been open to know it or having an idea and knowledge. i also knew there are formation of stars that involves several stages and each stage that could take around million years.also i learned the star formation theory.lastly i already know the formation of heavier elements is formed inside the star thank you
I learned that protons and neutrons combined together and formed light elements hydrogen and helium in the process of big bang nucleosynthesis. I learned that the formation of heavier elements is formed inside the star. About the star's I also learned that a star's life starts as clouds of dust and gas, Gravity pulls these clouds together. And the dense clouds of gas and dust are known as Nebula- the birthplace of Stars. I also learned how to get the series of fusion reactions.
I learned that throughout the milky way galaxy (and even near the sun itself), astronomers have discovered stars that are well as occasional stars that must be very young or still in the process of formation. Evolutionary effects on these stars are not negligible, even for a middle-aged star such as the sun.
I learned that. Elements up to and including iron are made in the hot cores of short-lived massive stars. There, nuclear fusion creates ever-heavier elements as it powers the star and causes it to shine.♡
In this lesson i learned more about the star. On where they come from and how they evolve. How dark clouds of gas and dust collapse to form new star. Learning more about stars at different evolutionary stages. Makes me more interested in science.
I learned that The big bang theory and the beginning of everything. The Big Bang is a theoretical model that explains how and when our universe started. As the name suggests, our universe was born with a bang, though the more appropriate term would be the "big stretch," because it expanded, more than it did explode. I also learned that electrons has negative charge , neutrons has neutral charge , protons has positive charge while nucleus can be located in protons and neutrons. I also learned that Protons and Neutrons has the same number while the number of neutrons depends. I also get additional information how stars formed , it has six stages in forming a star .
Our universe is full of mysteries and unknown things .As I continue to learn in this module/lesson ,it change my view about how universe was began ,I thought that that the exploding of sun was the beginning of the universe but I was wrong .And now this lesson teach me and prove me with accepted evidence that the BIG BANG THEORY was the beginning of the universe .And this module teach me on how a life of stars was began ,which is the cloud of dust and gas can able to create a life ,which is the life of stars .And this lesson able me to know the process of formation of stars on how it evolves in several stages .As I noticed about the evolution of star ,is stars that much bigger more than the main star has bigger Amount of atomic mass or weight, and stars that older than the main star have heavier atomic mass. This module able me to learn and know about how universe was formed, and how stars evolve and the fussion of elements. Physical science can help you to know about those unknown things that you didn't know before. ROBENSON TELLORO Student of Grade 11 Magsaysay
I learned in this module that stars has different phases of evolution .the nuclear fusion of hydrogen occurs in the core where four hydrogen atoms combine to create helium atom and high gamma rays which leads to the increase of the density and temperature of the stars
I learned that the star is formed when gravitational equilibrium is reached during the hydrogen fusion in a protostar.a massive star becomes a multiple shell red giant when the elements oxygen neon, magnesium, silicon, and iron are formed in it's core together with carbon, helium and hydrogen. Thank you
I learned that the protostar is a very young star that is still gathering mass from its parent molecular cloud. The protostellar phase is the earliest one in the process of stellar evolution. For a low-mass star ( that of the Sun or lower), it lasts about 500,000 years. The phase begins when a molecular cloud fragment first collapses under the force of self-gravity and an opaque, pressure supported core forms inside the collapsing fragment. It ends when the infalling gas is depleted, leaving a pre-main-sequence star, which contracts to later become a main-sequence star at the onset of hydrogen fusion producing helium.
I learned that the formation of stars involves several stages such as Dark cloud,Prestellar core, Protostar, Tauri Star,Pre-main Sequence star, Main Sequence star.I also learned that nearly 10% of the universe is helium.
I learned an enormous explosion a big bang caused the universe to start expanding rapidly. All the matter and energy in the universe, and even space itself, came out of this explosion
I learned that heavy elements are formed in a supernova, a massive explosion of a star in supernova, neutron capture reaction takes place, leading to formation of heavy elements...And also I learned that heavier than beryllium are formed through stellar nucleosynthesis stellar nucleosynthesis is the process by which elements are formed within stars the abundances of these elements change as the star evolve....
For what I learned the more massive stars must display more spectacular effects because the rate of conversion of mass into energy is higher. And elements heavier than beryllium are formed through stellar nucleosynthesis. Stellar nucleosynthesis is the process by which elements are formed within stars. The abundances of these elements change as the stars evolve. To what I read a supergiant star such as Antares, a bright main-sequence star such as Rigel, or even a more modest star such as Sirius cannot have endured as long as the Sun has endured. These stars must have been formed relatively recently. John Andrie G. Mendez Gr. 11-Magsaysay
I learned that stars are formed from accretion of these clouds of dust and gas, reffered to as molecular clouds. Gravitational energy pulled together clouds of dust and gas which causing it to collapse. but while clouds of dust and gas are collapse. they become denser and this paves is the way for formation of stars.
I learned that a star is a ball of gas strongly held together by its own gravitational force. The sun, our very own star, is the closest star to earth and has been used by astronomers as a model in studying stars in detail. The outer space may seem like a vacuum but in reality, it contains very thiny spread of gas and dust called the interstellar medium. Star are formed from the accumulation of these clouds of dust and gas, referred to as molecular clouds.
I've learn that stars has different phases of evolution. Starting from the Main Sequence Star where the hydrogen fusion occurs . The nuclear fusion of hydrogen occurs in the core where four hydrogen atoms combine to create hellium atom and high gamma rays which leads to the increase of the density and temperature of the star core by 100 million kelvin and turns it into our second phase which is the Red Giant. In Red Giant, Hellium is converted into carbon and while hydrogen is converted into hellium then squeeze by the gravity. The star ballons into super giant because of the accumulation of mass and temperature in the star's core. Next is the SuperGiant Star, In this stage carbon fusion occurs. The star will undergo a series of reaction because more alpha particle is fusing to create more heavier element which make the star more massive. The final stage is the Super Nova. In this stage the core is unable to generate energy to resist gravity because of the heavier elements formed from supergiant. The gravity will squeeze the star's core and condenses it resulting to an explosion and releasing of heavy element to space. Then those elements will be absorbed and condenses forming a new star and the cycle repeats. It's quite fascinating to think that the end of the star cycle becomes a way to start a new one.
I learned that star is an astronomical object comprising a luminous spheroid of plasma held together by its gravity. The nearest star to Earth is the Sun. Many other stars are visible to the naked eye at night, but their immense distance from Earth makes them appear as fixed points of light in the sky.
