Kinda dont see the issue with what Link said. Maybe he shouldnt have said it in front of them, thats debatable, but first and foremost they are his employees. Its not popular, but you shouldnt be best friends with people who work under you. Its great to be the cool boss but you need that line between employers and employees. Maybe if you guys started treating Link as more of a friend than a punchline, he wouldn’t have to distinguish you from work friends and genuine friends lol. Friendships are earned and sometimes y’all act more so like bullies than friends ✌🏽
Facts. I dont think the crew realizes how hurtful they were this episode. They probably think theyre being funny but this was hard to watch. We've all accidentally said things in a way that wasnt intended. No reason to keep bringing it up and make link feel bad. They better change and start treating link better or theyre gonna lose some mythical fans ://
The constantly picking on Link is getting old.
I 100% agree with Link on the "work friend" thing. He's not saying he doesn't like em...he's saying that without meeting at work...they wouldn't be friends since they wouldn't have met
Except that he prefaced it with “you’re not my real friends“
Exactly. I don’t hang outside of work with my work friends. It’s called having boundaries.
@@thejjacksonthey aren’t real friends. They r only friends because they work together. Otherwise they would never have any interaction. Real friends are a part of your everyday life outside of work.
@@thejjackson I think "real" was a confusing/weird word choice but I agree with @KimbaLoveAdams explanation.
@@KimbaLoveAdamsRhett and link hang outside of work on a weekly basis and they work together
Link looks so sad it breaks my heart 😭
Hey GMM.Staff/Crew, How much do you socialize with your bosses outside of work related duties? Are you involved in their personal lives? There is a deep bond, trust, and unconditional love in a true friendship. Nothing inaccurate at all with Links assertion!! And based on some of their past remarks, i would say you are spot on. LOL You're the best Link!!
I'm getting to the point where I can't even watch some of these episodes. Link is such a team player taking loss after loss even when it isn't deserved and still shows up with a good attitude but it is really starting to feel like a toxic work environment. I feel so bad for Link...the next apology needs to be from the crew to him.
Ugh. I feel the exact same way. Definitely deserves better.
I completely agree… It’s becoming more and more uncomfortable to watch. Link is being bullied and I have thought this for a while and find it very upsetting for him ❤❤
I don’t appreciate how Link was treated in this episode tbh
same was truly uncomfortable
So
I don’t appreciate how he treats everyone else on a daily basis. It’s not charming, he’s oblivious and self centered.
@@skyrimelitevids7419 You clearly haven't watched most of the show or the live shows. Link and Rhett as well are amazing bosses that most everyone would be blessed to have. He tends to not think about what he says before saying it and doesn't think at all of the meaning behind his words. Meaning, his intentions behind his words tend to get lost in what he actually says. He's not self centered and cares for his employees. They both do. The oblivious person is you since it's so obvious you haven't watched much of them
@@skyrimelitevids7419for real? What are you talking about
I think the employees are forgetting who they are, Link is not wrong for saying that, in fact he is even generous for regarding them as work friends and not mere employees
I came to the comments genuinely upset but I'm glad to see all the mythical beasts defending Link. It's really not cool how they treat him. We need more crew members who understand him and see through Rhett.
I feel like Link didn’t put it across in the best way, but I think he meant to say the crew is friends he met at work and that they wouldn’t be friends if it weren’t for work?
Yeah I felt it was kind of like this is my favorite and this is my other favorite.
I know Rhett understands exactly what Link was trying to say so why not back him up. Link is 100% right and "work friend" is not an insult, its reality
I think Rhett spends a lot of time trying to be the favorite amongst the crew
Right… like the more I watch GMM, the more I see that Rhett is NOT a good friend to Link. Because he never backs him up in situations against the crew/the EMPLOYEES.
@@ilovefood940 ego thing 100%. Subconsciously Rhett feels better when he sees Link being ganged up on so he allows it to happen under the guise of playful conversation
Lol if your boss you considered your friend called you a 'work friend' in front of your face at an event it would be awkward. The word is just 'friend', he can classify them as work friends in his mind all he likes. There's no need to tell them to their face thats what they are and Rhett is somehow better (he's also a colleague, technically, btw).
link is my favourite, I relate to him often
We love you link, keep being you
Jordan could call your whole life a failure and follow it with “but just a thought”
Link’s “Thats not the vibe today” is honestly so relatable
Link old school, says what he wants. That's why he is unique the most important for this show to be funny.
Granted, Link did dig himself a deeeep hole here. But with the tone and direction of the convo I would say, for just this episode, it does seem like Jordan might not like Link. Just a little...
The look on Jordan’s face while she was putting the sauce on Links finger was priceless. I love these more episodes.
I’m with link on the friend thing! He’s just being specific! Cut the man a break🤣😭
Link getting verbally beat up like that is wild. He's just being honest. The work friend vs real friend thing makes perfect sense. He's known Rhett forever and wouldn't have known these other people if it wasn't for work.
Yeah, but you don’t have to say it in front of those people in a hurtful way, and you definitely don’t double down once you’ve been told you’re hurting peoples feelings.
I think that's it. Link isn't wrong, but he sometimes vocalized thoughts that everyone kinda knows...but are better left unsaid.
Right? He was making the cow it's food and was being harassed the whole time!
imagine being the boss and a whale makes you come make it food like it needs more, on your birthday.
People think Jordan doesn't like Link because she belittles him quite a bit & Rhett always somehow guilts Jordan into winning. It's pretty clear to a lot of people I think. 👀
Have been a fan/watcher/viewer for over a decade, but the crew gave me the BIGGEST ICK
Aw i feel bad for Link😭
I find Jordan condescending.
There wouldn’t be GMM without Link, so maybe the crew should appreciate the jobs they have because of Rhett AND Link?? This is suppose to be a fun happy show and everyone made it miserable because Link made a mistake. How would they feel if one of their big mistakes was displayed on the internet for all to see?
Link literally digging himself in a hole with the sour cream-😂
Kinda dont see the issue with what Link said. Maybe he shouldnt have said it in front of them, thats debatable, but first and foremost they are his employees. Its not popular, but you shouldnt be best friends with people who work under you. Its great to be the cool boss but you need that line between employers and employees. We like to think this is just a small group of friends, screwing around and posting videos in their free time, but this is a whole company with multiple divisions and people who depend on Rhett and Link to live. Plus, from both sides it makes it really awkward when you have to let someone go 🤷♂️
Completely agree.
Link needs a hug ):
He looked sooo defeated at the end of this (even though he won 😅)
@carolinaflordarosa6905 Because they spent the whole show trashing him, the win felt like it was a " pity prize."
Chase nearly needed stiches.
@@carolinaflordarosa6905He rarely wins too and they couldn't even let him have this one.
After this episode and the main one I can see why they are only work friends to Link. Felt bad for the guy watching this.
I love all of these guys so much and I get that its for entertainment purposes but I can't help but feel a lil sad for Link and his misunderstandings since I see so much of myself in him
I’m so over them ganging up on Link on the episodes. Talk to him privately if it matters that much.
EXACTLY!! He said he already apologized! Why bring it up again?! I'm so over them bullying him. I've been loyal to this show for 10+ years but I'm thinking about taking a break.
They need to go easy on Link….he already ate crow apologizing for his dart incident
What incident?
@@Astral.Artistry the one when he almost got Chase with a dart
@@karenboden587 lol YES of course
@@Astral.Artistrynot the time he threw the dart and almost hit chase, but the time he stabbed chase’s costume repeatedly and almost stabbed the man in the costume.
took a bit, but its happened. Im over Jordan.
Join the club bro
Link my guy, he’s one of those friends where you just kinda have to understand where he is coming from after just being around him for awhile lololol
I love link and idk how anyone can actually be upset for anything that he says or does 😂😂
I'm with Link on the work friends. Much love, Link!
The uncomfortable laugh Rhett does after Jordan says “Sorry, I gave you the work friend amount” 😂😂
Has anyone noticed how Jordan is evil 😅😂
Nah, after years of watching GMM every day I think I'm done. I relate so much to Link, his thought process is exactly mine. People seem to treat him the way my family treats me, and I am no contact with them for a reason. There have been a few episodes that gave me the ick for this, but good lord this one was the hardest to watch.
if y'all don't apologise to link for ganging up on him without actually tryna understand him imma stop watching gmm. such a disappoinment after being a daily watcher for over a decade and to see u guys still misunderstand him and hyperfocus on what he says rather than his intent
Link, you won! 🎉 Believe in yourself. You’ve got this.
I totally understand what Link was TRYING to say, but it's too hilarious watching him continue to dig himself into a hole.
Cut a slack with Link. He is a little dorky and tries his best to entertain. The crew shouldn't make their bias this visible, after all this time they should know Link can mess up his words badly sometimes, even if that is not his intent, and does always apologize. Always ganging up on him for content is not cool. Don't loose moral Link, many do understand you.
21:20 rhett being rhett, hogging down all that food even if it too big
At this point I’ll be surprised if link even wants to keep going with gmm and all is employees
He has full authority to replace them.
I really loved the energy in the beginning! Especially when they mentioned Maine.
Afterwards, it was kind of hard to watch 💀still super entertaining 😂
Is Link reading these comments? I'd love a reaction video to that 😂
Well i certainly hope his ‘work friends’ are. I feel like they should read all this more than him. 😅
Link is my spirit animal.
sadly i could feel links anxiety:( 15:01
