American schools are very competitive and the Americans are very competitive!!! My children went to both school systems so I know first hand. But I have a very good story about how competitive the American school system is. ‘The youngsters were given a homework to research something in the library so everybody rushed there just to find out that somebody had already ripped the page about the home work from the book!!’ True story!! The guy who told the story was one of the boys.
