@@grvmbinoscott7163 she's good as eye candy as she was my teenage celebrity crush lol but yeah you are right, this character could have been played just as well (or better) by some unknown up and coming actress. Her character (a single african american mother raising 3 kids to BECOME gangsters) is also pretty unrealistic. I know plenty of african caribbean people who have gotten mixed up in the streets, and i do not know of a single case where their mothers approved of what they were doing. Because it seems the general attitude amongst them is that they 'do not want their kids to inherit their lifestyle' (which is good), I think it is more the trailer park trash/italian/russian mafia who push drugs onto their kids.
The only person I possibly see killing Tariq if he did die is Paz. She hasn’t been on screen since Carter was introduced and if Carter is taken out Tariq won’t expect someone like Paz I don’t see his guard being down for anyone else in the show

It is increasingly clear that this was not intended as the final season, there is absolutely nothing conclusive about it. Effie was the biggest wasted opportunity in Power history. 5 seasons worth of build up only for her to be revealed as the daughter of some random alcoholic. Maaan I’m disappointed!

These last 2 episodes ether gotta be the longest episodes ever and have time jumps to explain shit or they just gave us an unfinished show and tbh I won’t be waisting my time watch ts no more. Like the fans we have no real info on ghost is he as dead or not yall keep saying he was shot not killed yall give us little leaks. The story line so unfinished and rushed so my only thing I can think there gonna do is bring ghost back at the end and start a new power book from there ending the tejada story line.
@@Letsprobox yeah that still hasn't been revealed. It could still be Kanan to be honest, but that doesn't add up with her spanish name. Most likely her father is Afro-puerto rican or Dominican, but does any known such character exist in the Power universe?
That scene for Effie was meant to show how she never lied to Tariiq
@@treztyles6830 that could be the case. May be they played us all along, just like JJ Abrams did with Rey in Star Wars. Set her up to be related to someone significant, only for the big shock to be revealed that she was, in fact, a 'nobody' all along. That in a way was kind of a shock reveal for Effie because it subverted our expectations.
I think Effie also has to worry about if the remaining russians think she set them up. They could come for her

Power Book 2 Season 4 Production began on January 21st 2023 and ended on July 13th 2023. The WGA writers strike began May 2, 2023. The SAG-AFTRA actors Strike was announced on July 13, 2023. (which is the day they abruptly ended production) Book 2’s budget had already exceeded what LionsGate was comfortable paying; and both the writers strike & actors strike meant that all the actors and writers would be expecting pay increases if Season 5 was still on the table… This is why Season 4 seems rushed and so many storylines remain open. The Writers strike was first threatened in March of 2023 so none of the actors knew when they started filming in January of 2023 that season 4 would be their last… Once the decision was made to end the series, both the writers and actors had to make the best out of a bad situation and “rush” to bring Book 2 to an abrupt end. Monet has been making $400k per episode & Method Man $150k per episode… Meanwhile Ghost was paid $150k per episode, but they refused to give him a raise and poor Tommy was only paid a whopping $17,000 per episode his first couple seasons of Power. 😝

2. “Gold Rule” of the Power Universe - Mothers and Sons are Unbreakable Bonds
3. The Spin-offs are Set.
As we saw a lot of what seemed random things in S0408, it was not and it was really a set episode.
1. 2 Deaths seem clear to me in the episode are the Mothers. Monet and Noma.
In the Power Universe, when the parents can clearly not be trusted by the children and the family must be made whole, then the parents must sacrifice.
The way for Monet to bring her family together and move forward is through her death.
Anya will not transform in the ruthless person she will become until Noma is dead. She has a “Tariq” metamorphosis ahead.
2. Mother and Son bond is unbreakable . They may have falling outs but they will always sacrifice for each other. This clear with Cane and Monet, Tariq and Tasha, and Raq and Kanan. Cane will protect the family by guiding Anya to kill Noma.
3. The spin-off will move forward with the ladies moving in different directions. Diana is the new Tasha and Tariq is his father.
Cane will be an international connect and find a way to follow Effie to California after Noma’s Death.

My theory with two episodes left. It’ll go down like this.
Effie ends Norma daughter after catching her with Cane (isn’t a coincidence she showed up at his place unannounced that easily).
Noma ends Effie pushing Cane over the edge and causing him to take her out and becoming the king pin in New York (he takes everything after the marriage).
Dru gets set up by Det. Carter and goes to jail.
Carter tells the other det. Mona took the lady det. out causing him to take Mona out. Dru avenge her and goes to jail.
Braydon goes to rehab.
Riq gets saved at the end by ghost after Cater expose the tape of ending the guy in the safe house.
Diana will be the only one to make it out And start fresh.

I hate to predict anything but after that last episode I can see dru,noma,monet,carter all dying it will make sense a lot i see a lot of folks sayin ghost will come back but I doubt that will happen ghost was never dead in the first place Omari just want a check whenever they give him that then we can probably see ghost again i doubt he will return in the finale but if he do it will break the internet literally

Don Carter could tell Noma that it was Davis plan to set up Noma with Sterling Reynolds. Don could smoke Davis. Cane could smoke Don Carter to protect his family and Tariq keep his hands clean. Noma could find out that it was Effie plan to use Anya as leverage to get outta of the game and smoke Noma to turn up Cane.

Great theories! Although, I think Anya dies. There is no purpose for her character. I think she gets caught in a cross fire and that drives Noma over the edge, leading to bad decisions and her ultimate death. Carter is reckless and everyone is setting up everyone, lol. My only hope is that Effie is safe (until the next spinoff 😏). The only way I see Tariq dying, is if there is no spinoff. I may have mentioned before, goodbye all Tejadas, lol.

Of the main characters I can see Carter, Monet or/and Davis dying/getting locked up for life. The supporting cast is juicier with Tasha,Nico and maybe Elle or Brushandria
My prediction is that Tariq & Effie will link up again. Tariq might end up going to jail due to him & Brayden touching the rails at the men’s apartment. Brayden has never been locked up before so they don’t have his prints on file but they do have Tariq’s fingers prints. Tariq going to Tasha house was a big mistake which Carter will kill Tasha or Yaz. Effie or Tariq will tell Anya about her mom killing her dad and Anya or Effie will kill Noma. Dru & Cane might get into and go to war, and in the midst of it, Diana will be killed. Davis will die by Cane. Definitely think Effie mom is Italian and with Dru mentioning the Italians on the last episode to Carter, I think they will be introduced someway somehow. Tate or Nico will get Tariq out of jail and Tate will kill Carter.
Monet is going to end up in prison, like Tasha. Noma will lose everything and either she runs or she gets put in prison.
Cane will become the connect, and will try to have Effie become the queen on the chessboard.
I hope Carter tells Tariq that Ghost is still alive and that Tasha has expired. I hope Tate tells Riq the same thing when he pulls up to the church with Ghost.
