Lovely video Richard. I heard the Dynacord mixer with the slim tower type EV speakers the other week at the Black Bull bar in Standish and it sounds truly OUTSTANDING! Was amazed just how loud she had her mics but absolutely no feedback whatever, even though I was stood right in front of the EV tower speakers. Clearly an expensive sound system but the sound is phenomenal 😎 Neil.
There is one installed in a mosque that i go to and i would like to record the recitations of the imam for him from the mosque audio system, can i hook up the usb to a laptop and record it that way?
@@BlueRayofLight yes, it’s easy, just download the ASIO software for your computer from the product page of Dynacord .com and use a usb B lead to your computer. Any recording software will work.
I have alsways been a big fan of Dynacord and not least the powermate series of mixers. But I am afraid they are no longer manufactured in Germany. Production and assembly is most likely done in China. If you can prove me wrong I would of course be thrilled. Thank you
They are still made in Germany. It says so on the back panel! Some territories do have Chinese made ones, but the code we order is Powermate-MIG. Made in Germany.
Hi if you wish to play sound from your TV through the mixer and through passive speakers connected to the Powermate then yes this is usually possible with the right leads or connectors. Going the other way of taking an audio output from the mixer to a TV is also often possible with the right adaptors and cables but is not as common as the first scenario mentioned Both of these are totally dependent on the TV set and what inputs or outputs it has, some manufacturers make it easy with lots of standard inputs and outputs some do not. We are Based in Bolton Manchester UK so if you are local popping in to see an expert in our PA dept we could talk you through what is required Warm regards and thanks for watching.
The thing i have not seen on youtube is a full review of one of these in english, would it be possible for a full review, im looking for the cms version of this, how does it compare to the soundcraft mfx8? Thanks.
Hi, we will certainly do this. The main difference between the 2 is the sound; the dynacord sounds so clear and warm, and the effects are all you need.
@@HWAudioLtd thanks very much for the reply, some will say the lack of sub grouping but that does not bother me as i dont use sub group on my soundcraft anyway! I will look forward to it! 👍
Thanks Richard. I have a powdered dynacord desk but picked up some powered speakers at a good price. If I run speakers from aux or mon is that safe enough ? Thanks Richard
Hi Rafid, Most CMS and Powermate mixers are made in Germany, and the box and label on the unit will tell you place of manufacture. In the early days of production there were Chinese made ones, but all the ones we now receive are German.
Got Dynacord 600 powered for 20 years now still running perfect.thank you.

what cable do i need for the drirectional input please
Can I connect this powered desk to Active speakers? And if so, how do I go about it please?
Yes, use the xlr outputs at the top right of the desk
@@HWAudioLtd that is bad idea, you coluld burn active speakers Like that
@@KaricJasmin no you can’t. These outputs are LINE outputs for active speakers. I have 40 years experience!
What causes only one line of the green lights to light up when the system is active ? I’ve lost half of my sound
Maybe pan control set to one side or only one side of signal being received by the mixer?
Can I run powered speakers from this unit also. Are the two rear outputs unpowered?
The rear are powered, the top panel ones are for active speakers.

Thanks. I thought I could only run passive speakers from main XLR. So safe enough then. Thanks Richard
Can i use it with active rcf 735 and have a good sound
Yes, the Dynacord gives the best sound. However the CMS600 gives the same sound but without an amplifier.
