    Does the phase detection work in video as well? But it is only in the center?

    For the sony A7rii What are the best menu settings for architectural deadpan photography? I don't require any bokeh, just the whole shot in focus using the standard 28-70 lens. Im not experienced in using the manual settings and i prefer the auto superior mode and would like to set the camera up just for deadpan photography and as easy to use as possible.

      I would be using the same settings I outline for shooting landscape - you will find I have made movies to cover this genre.

    what if we wanted to add a lens, lets say a 70-200G, what length do we add for that?

    • @gasperplevel9699
      @gasperplevel9699 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just leave it auto and it will work perfectly at all lengths, focal length function is for adapted lenses from third-party manufactures.

    Will the A7 Mkii also focus continuously in Eye Focus mode?

    How about if we want to shoot more than one person? I realised that it’s only detect one face & other person is not in focus which is not in green box..could u have me to solve this problem?

      You can register a face to take priority over another face or you can move a spot AF point nearer to the face you want to target.

    Thanks Mark. I watch a lot of your video and also subscribe to your channel too. I have a question. I am debating between the a7 MK2 vs the a6400. I am shooting mainly still photos and hardly do any videos. Which camera do you think would fit me better?

    • @AlphaCreativeSkills
      @AlphaCreativeSkills  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the subject matter is moving quickly and you need to use eye-af for moving subjects then the A6400 is the better camera. If you need high ISO image quality then the A7 full frame cameras have the edge.

    When i set my A72 to wide on focus area its only using the center can i change this? im using the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 sony lens

      Wide favours 'centre' and 'close'. If you want to focus on something that is not in the centre, either focus and recompose (AF-S) or change the focus area to Zone and move the Zone left or right. If you want to be very specific then choose Expand Flexible Spot.

    Do we still have the option on Australian/PAL a7ii to select 24p via the PAL/NTSC Selector option?

    • @AlphaCreativeSkills
      @AlphaCreativeSkills  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would have to select NTSC in the PAL/NTSC Selector to access the 24p option. This reboots the camera and formats the card so you would need to back up the contents of the card if you were previously shooting in 25 or 50p

      Alpha Creative Skills Thanks. Does it still have the annoying warning stating its in NTSC mode

    • @AlphaCreativeSkills
      @AlphaCreativeSkills  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have set up your region in the Area Setting menu you should not be getting any warning if the Video option (NTSC/PAL Selector) is appropriate to the where you are living/using the camera.
