Osprey has a lifetime guarantee. If they can’t fix the issue, they will replace it with a new bag. My son sent his backpack to them because the mesh outer pockets ripped after a 2000+ mile thru hike. They sent him a brand new bag. So even if you find one with a broken zipper or other damage it’s still worth picking up.
Wish I knew that about a month ago, I saw one at Goodwill, had a broken aluminum frame. So I passed. Could of sent it in for new one
LOVE YOU! You keep making these, and I will keep watching! LOVE that you are happy and by the beach! Wish you all the best!
Your research is so amazing. I picked up a Neff beanie on your advice last week. Thank you so much. I'm picking up your manifesto.
Thanks for the info. I sold a Abercrombie+Fitch vintage duffle bag for $80 in a week. Probably could of got more if I sat on it longer. But I’m not mad about it, picked it up from Mom and Pop thrift store for $3
He finds a niche & decides to share it online to everyone on you tube.! Great business plan lol. Bring on the flood 🌊
I found a north face backpack at Goodwill for 10 bucks sold fast for 40 plus shipping.
You're making me remember my "traveller" days when I lived in Central America. I bet your travelling days have brought these to mind. On a repurposed school bus ride a compact, but large backpack is crucial.
Relatedly, I've sold a few bicycling backpacks that I've found in thrift stores. Lately I've seen fewer and fewer high quality bags. I don't know where they've gone.
Lower price point, but Kavu rope slings have a great sell through rate. I have found a few at area yard sales.
I also discovered these by accident a while back when a friend asked on Facebook if anyone knew a good brand. I checked eBay for her and was like woah! A big keyword was duffle. A proper travel backpack needs to work as a backpack and also like a duffle bag with a handle. I think the primary purpose is to carry on for air travel.
Unrelated to bags but you should consider clothing brand Brixton. Ive had luck with their button up shirts. Good sell through and price
yard sales would be a possible place to find these bags. I will start checking the big bag section at goodwill and just look up any bag that is in good shape since these brands are new to me. another great video!
Patagonia, Chrome, Cotopaxi, Fjallraven, The North Face, Ospreym Deuter and Timbuk2 were the most common bags brands I would see commuters with when I worked at the airport recently. I'd go though security or be at the gate and see tons of people and what bags they had. There are also local (Portland/Oregon) bag brands like North Street, Will Leather Goods, Black Star that many people would not know as much. Timbuk2 used to be made in America and have higher quality. I like Manhattan Portage personally, their logo is really cool. I have a Chrome bag from the Goodwill Bins with the seatbelt strap. The strap is annoying as hell to wear when out walking, it digs into your shoulder, I'll use my cheaper Timbuk2 (also from Goodwill Bins) bag or a inexpensive tote bag. You don't need the most expensive bag to get a job done, just whatever works and is comfortable.
I look for the plain boring backpacks that have a nice feel, and they usually end up being the good ones. Thrift stores don't know what they have when it looks like a plain gray back pack. I mean, I don't have a smart phone to comp with, so I usually chance it when they are priced $3-5 and I have usually cashed in pretty well.
Ok so I’m heading to the bag section from now on lol🎉😂❤awesome man thx !! Have a great day !
I love the escalating-excitement video titles. What's next, "These Reselling Kaiju Lit Up My Nervous System Like A Pinball Machine On Tilt"?
Thrifting is my drug of choice
Thanks for the great info!!! Can you do belts; that's my niche. 🎉💥🛒🎁💰
TUMI… a very nice brand.
Found one at a yard sale.
Cote & Ciel is my favorite travel backpack ever. The "Isar"
Yeah I usually check out the backpack section at thrift stores and you sometimes find really good stuff for good money. Hiking, sling, crossbody, gym, duffle bags are popular.
Peak design also makes messenger style photography bags. I own one. Paid 225-250 for it. Worth it. Extremely well made and perfect for wedding or travel photography.
Topo Designs, specifically the “Global Travel” pack
Wow, something I wouldn't have given a lot of time too. Your info is always so helpful. Thank you.
THX Matt, I hadn't heard of most of these brands, great info!
I guess if you wanted to make a lot of money you could source Louis Vuitton luggage and bags as well. I'd see those pretty regularly.
what camera screen your using
Thank you
I appreciate you!
I sold a Victorinox fanny pack for $30. Found at the Goodwill bins.
you always hook us up with the goods. thanks
So interesting. Wouldn’t have thought of this niche.

I’ve been hoarding luggage
