one thing that I like about this amapiano movement is that the people from e'Kasi have embraced and identified as their own, and now they are sharing their identity with the rest of the world. we need stories like this so that our children can know when we are no longer here what we did to share our unique identity with the world.....

I think it depends on which part of soweto you are from, because as far a as I know Citizen Deep and Hood Natives are some of the few guys who introduced this sound in Soweto around 2008/2009 when Brazo, Dacapo and Nastee Nev where making a huge impact those days
