- I put together a Real Hawk Sakura £14 foamie kit and came up with a clever idea to mount a very small brushless motor! Any questions please ask in comments below. 00:00 introduction , 00:29 what's in the box? , 01:46 fuselage is together , 02:31 motor fitting 03:36 a clever way to fit a very small brushless motor , 07:20 motor is fitted , 09:03 the question that needed answering! , 11:22 the final touches , 12:31 outro
3-D aerobatics coming right up lol, nice one Bob, looking forward to the maiden, cheers
I'm hoping, though I didn't fit rudder servo. Tomorrow not looking bad for maiden, but cold! It was that one of yours that inspired me to buy it, but yours was the proper job!
It'll be interesting to see how you get on with this one, old fellah! "1nformatica" out in Spain didn't rate his (from some time back and I'm not sure of the size any more) all that highly. Best of luck! 😊
Hi old fellah yourself. 😠 Flew it this morning. Flew well but you need pretty much zero wind as it's so light. 85g with 200mA 2s lipo. Even in 5 - 10 mph wind it was being chucked about! Video of maiden will be up sometime later this week maybe. Did you book my place in the old modelers rest home yet?
Good luck for the maiden
Thanks, I'm hoping tomorrow! 😎
Wavelength of 2.4 GHz

Correct! 😀

The aerial must be 1/4 wavelength.
@@nonoyorbusness correct, 30 mm as I said in the video. 10:38
I doubt I'll be in vacuum though. Hard to breath. 😱
I have messed around a lot in the past building antennas and trying to tune them with SWR meters. It fascinates me!
