  • This is a cover version of one of my favorite themes of all time! I tried my best to keep the original spirit of the composition without altering too many elements. I simply added here and there some minor changes since John Williams has already made such a masterpiece! I hope you enjoy and please tell me your honest opinion!

I know I haven't really made any significant changes to the piece to make it more epic. I mean I think it already is one of John Williams' best and more epic compositions (well all of them are). I just made some minor adjustments to give more impact on specific moments of the piece.
Nevertheless I love the concept of Indiana Jones since I was a young kid and I had to make a version of it!
Perhaps in the future I will try to make a more epic rendition. Hope you enjoy!

They should remaster and add this orchestral song like this in raiders of the lost ark movie ending

Haha thank you so much! I'm sure they can do a far better job than I can though.

It's a very good effort. I really love the inclusion of the tubular bells. I would say though that the cymbals come in way too soon, and over power the first part.

Thank you for your kind words and your advice! It is true I had some second thoughts about the very first part even though eventually I preferred it that way. I will certainly be more mindful in the future thanks again!

Its not faint. Its the attack on the brass. Its not hard enough. The strings in comparison have the right amount of attack. Its actually very very good.

I like this concept but some of it sounds faint. You think you do one less faint in the march?

    • @KokkinisSound

Yeah I think you might be right some instruments could have been mixed better together. I'll keep it in mind so I can improve in the future thanks!

I actually love the piece as it is. It's just a softer, textured rendition of the march-- and a little more romanticized. The brass, especially, is a little toned down. But I love it! Because it sounds different, I start imagining it belongs to another untold adventure. If it were an exact duplicate of the original, I would inevitably think of Raiders (which isn't a bad thing either.) Anyway, a job well done by the composer. :)

@@EdwinC1001 Hey thanks! I'll agree with you that the point for me was to make it different, not too much, but I didn't want to make the same exact thing. You also make a good point that it is more romanticized, that's what I was going for! If I had done the same exact thing why not just go and listen to the masterful piece John williams has already made which is far better than mine!

@@KokkinisSound It's great stuff you created. I really am glad I stumbled upon it. It perfectly threw me into the world of Indy, especially with your fresh take on the source material. Thanks for sharing, and I will be looking forward to listening to more from you in the future.
