Hey jack! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I’m so glad they are helping you get to grips with aoe2 :-) welcome to the channel and thanks for watching!
Great stuff, but there is one problem. That single last dark age lumberjack is exposed to the enemy scout for a certain time. Suggestion: Send him also to the first lumber camp and build the second lumber camp with the 4 villagers from sheep as usual. At first I thought that 6:4 distribution would be less efficient than 5:5, but think about it: In both cases you have in total two groups of 3 villagers and 2 groups of 2 villagers on each four sides of the two lumbercamps. That should be the same efficiency (for a while).
Thanks mate. You can get away with 8 villagers on one camp before efficiency is really hampered. Theres a great video somewhere in youtube that tests 1 camp with 8 vills and 2 camps with 4 vills each
Thank you my friend. The sound levels are much better now too lol :-)

Hi man, awesome tutorial as usual!! Will try it next (still trying to get the scout rush properly first). Could you make one of scouts into knights? Thinking of a Franks/Teutons play.
Luis Alfonso Maeda Núñez hey man! Glad you liked it. This one sets you up well to get to castle age and use a big mass of crossbows straight away. Yes of course, I will add that to the list :-) I have a few other requests to do first so it might take a couple of weeks before it’s on. Currently working on a “defence for beginners” guide, then I have a Planet Zoo video to make and then a Korean tower rush video. Also have an upcoming game to do a review video for, although the scouts in to knight will probably be before that.

@@MorleyGames1 awesome mate! of course whenever you can, thanks! Love the content on your channel!
@@MorleyGames1 Yep for sure, people won't expect scouts from Britons for sure. I'm quite liking the idea of using Persians for this also, because I often find myself transitioning into trashbow and so an earlier range than my usual build could be nice.
Honestly I think this works best with most foot archer civs because you’re going to still want some cav support even if you mainly go archers. especially Ethiopians, because you then have a stable ready for camels if the opponent goes knights. I wouldn’t necessarily advise going for cav archers early castle age as they aren’t as good in castle age and are expensive to make and take a long time to train. I think it’s a perfect build order for berbers . A lot of people don’t rate the genitors but I personally love them in castle age but it’s all situational I suppose.
Joshua Leonard excellent! I’m actually really pleased that you have been able to pick up on that side of things as well! I’m no expert by any means but I’m glad that you’re finding these useful. In other vids you will see my poor micro and units die hahaha. This was 21 pop scouts too btw :-)
Joshua Leonard I have family in Kent, mainly around the Maidstone area. Could potentially have some in dartford. Do the surnames bobbett or boushall mean anything to you?
Yes that one will be up in the next week or 2. Uploading some more planet zoo stuff at the weekend and then I’m going to be working on a “first impressions” video for manor lords

I am fairly new to the game but your build order videos are doing wonders for my gameplay

Thanks mate! It’s great to have you here :-)
I like this build! I'm going to give it a try and see how I do :D
It certainly makes a transition in to crossbow easy. Potentially even a good one for britons to catch the enemy off guard with the scouts

Love this build! Which Civs maximize this in your opinion? Mongols, Magyars, any others?

I know it wasn't intentionally done, but you also showed me how to be more effective with scouts when i rush too. Thank you

@@MorleyGames1 quick question. Do you have any family around Dartford? If so we could be distantly related.

@@MorleyGames1 no, just the Morley.
Ah. No I don’t think I have family from that side of the family down that way. Think it’s a fairly common surname. Would have been funny though!
11 wololo op was so fcking good
Can you do archer into skirms?

21 pop scout seem a bit slow nowadays. The opponent is more likely fully wall
Yes. I have a 20 pop version now. Just apply 20 pop scouts to this build
There are many good videos in this channel!! like and sub
