I saw Farquaad's death to be poetic in so many ways way. He wanted to send knights on a quest to save a Princess from a Fire Breathing Dragon, not going himself, and almost got this lineup of knights killed until 1 returns with Fiona. Later he find out about Finona's Ogre form and declares to lock her back in the dragon's castle, only to get eaten by said dragon, who made peace with the knight and fell in love with The Noble Steed.
it's actually worse when you see that by the end of the first movie, Farquaad was still alive in the dragon's stomach. That means he died dissolving in stomach acid.
@@Amadmaniac1 Or maybe was sh8t out and still alive....cause there's rumors he'll return in Shrek 5. Talk about either fate worse than death, or "Jokes on you I'm into that sh8t!" Literally. XD
@@toumabyakuyaI was going to point that out. His ghost being swallowed by a made dragon has to be worse than death, it is one thing if you die but your ghost as well. Farquaad did not get off easy.
Chunky was really just hungry. He and Grug were both hunters who took a huge step in the development of human-animal interaction together - one of my favorite little details in that movie.
@@Broken_Everlark7 Absolutely true, which is why, as was said, his scott free was deserved. But The Croods is one of those rare extra-special movie that managed to pull off not even having a villain, with the closest thing to such just being the inevitable calamity. So while he's not a true villain, he's the closest thing to a villain, being the only carnivore that goes after Grug more than once.
Took a while for Farquad to start dealing with the digestion in Dragon, as during the Shrek Karaoke Dance Party, he was still alive and well inside Dragon's stomach while singing "Staying Alive" by the BeeGees
You forgot Death and Goldilocks (Also from PiB: TLW) Death (Scott Free): After Puss learned how to appreciate his last life and doesn't fear him anymore, he lets him go, reminding him that when the time comes, they'll meet again Goldilocks (Slap on the wrist): After hearing momma bear's confession that she made their lives 'just right', not understanding what the map wanted to tell her, Perrito saying that she 'won the orphan lottery', seeing the bears' expressions of sadness, when she says that she wants to replace them with a human family, AND watching Baby Bear nearly dying, she finally learned her lesson and saved him, at last coming to realize what the map was telling her all along, she already has what she wanted Jack Horner's lackeys (Brutal deaths): I'll keep it simple. Jack Horner's friendly fire was on
Death wasn't really a villian. He was a neutral force of nature that will follow all living things. Yes he was more aggressive with puss but that was because for someone to have nine lives: he wasted almost all of them as a giant relentless insult to his job.
@bizzaroblake2519 though he was a villain in the movie in the sense that he was an antagonist for Puss and wanted to kill him even though it has been stated that Death directly interfering is breaking the rules.
Whats even more dark about Shen’s death is the implication that he willingly took his own life during his final fight with Po. When the cannon fell right on top of him due to him cutting the ropes with his blades, he had arguably enough time to run away and dodge it like Po did, but closed his eyes as if he accepted his fate. Its possible that he knew that if he accepted Po's compassion, he'd likely spend the rest of his life behind bars and likely suffer years worth of regret and shame from all the damage he caused. Killing Po was likely a bonus should he fail to succeed in his plot.
Or he would have been brutally killed with a violent death penalty, & just decided that being crushed by a giant exploding cannon is faster & not as harsh.
Accepting an enemy's mercy is normal for most of us, but unacceptable for a proud and stubborn warlord like Shen. He spent his whole life trying to fill in a void he couldn't fill, and his wounded pride would make the void bigger. He preferred to die.
Yeah, based on his backstory, it kind of makes sense why and does make him a lot more sympathetic. He grew up in a very bad home where his ancestors always saw him as worthless, and so a lot of his grief was him trying to prove his own value, to them and himself, but when he realized at that moment he was nothing but a complete monster, he just accepted the fact that the only way to atone was to let himself go. Kind of hinted in his minor redemption in the 4th movie where he shows respect to Po for helping him understand the error of his ways, even if at the final moments. Alas that's mostly made clear in the supplemental stories.
Pitch Black was taken by his pets into his house. Like if my own Shih Tzus betrayed me and dragged me to my living room I would be inconvenienced but not defeated.
@@samweaver9109 Is that ever explained? All we know is that they're attracted to fear, and he's afraid because his biggest fear is not being feared. But torture is never implied, and they just drag him... to his own lair.
@@samweaver9109 So... Once he overcomes his fear he's free to terrorize the Earth again? That's nothing like Hades or Dr. Facilier, who were literally dragged into Hell.
@@UltimateDespairado I heard she died peacefully. Just imagining saying "I'm feeling a bit tired..." and laying down only for that to be your last day alive. Bless her.
4:34 So, uh, random fun fact: This is addressed at the end of the original novels! ....and he changes his name to..."Tippy Tinkletrousers". ...Brilliant.
Fun fact about Professor Poopypants, in the books, he does come back later, having turned a new leaf, and he changed his name...to Tippy Tinkletrousers...so yeah, even a name change is not enough to help him XD Edit: To clarify before someone tells me anything, I haven't read any of the books since I was in 5th or 6th grade which was about a decade ago, so my information could be wrong.
That was a very good list with nice categories for the villains' fates some that aren't included are Zuleika, The Colonel, Lola, Gladys, Dwayne/The Verminator, Layton T. Montgomery, The Spiny Mandrilla, Hendricks and Dr. Erwin Armstrong.
19:06 In while watching the Thriller Night Halloween short (which canonically takes place after Shrek Forever After since Rumpelstiltskin is in Shrek's nightmare, which means he'd need to have met him before) you can see Prince Charming in the back of the theatre watching the movie with the redeemed villains seemingly content with his situation. 6:07 I’m pretty sure they do still hunt lemurs in the modern day.
Hehe depending on the time scale, the video would be over an hour long even just listing each one. There are hundreds of shows, if not about a thousand that have played on CN.
Chelsea/Nerissa may have gotten her reign of terror ended in the hands of Ruby, Agatha, and GrandMama for using their laser eyes to destroy the trident once and for all. Still, you know she wasn't freed quickly since she was captured by Captain Gordon Lighthouse at the end of the movie. With that, I can see that Chelsea can do community service under the watch of Captain Gordon as her punishment for almost causing the destruction on OceanSide and nearly causing the death of Ruby, Agatha, and GrandMama. But again, if there is a possible sequel or TV series based on this movie, I hope this evil mermaid queen can have some redemption.
Jeepers, that thumbnail for this video is really gruesome which is fitting for this video of the fates of DreamWorks Villains! Also I guess Pitch Black's biggest fear is himself, apparently. Although there's a lot of DreamWorks Villains who have more gruesome fates than his.😨😅

From what I know, Drago was supposed to survive for the 3rd movie where he will have a sorta redemption arc by spending for years on an island with another dragon and learn to bond with it or something. But it was scrapped. Tbh, I would have sorta liked to see how that story would have turned out

Hey WickedBinge, since it is November, this might be a controversial pick since a lot of people might not like this movie, but I think I would like to see you do Free birds characters good to evil.
I wonder if you guys are gonna make an evil to most evil of 2024 villains. Here's my list so far (these are villains from series and shows you guys covered) : actual main antagonists only Least Evil: Anxiety (Inside Out 2) Second lest evil: Vik Diamonds (Thelma the unicorn) Third least evil: Vontra (The wild robot) 12. Nine (Season 3 of Sonic Prime) 11. Jinx (Garfield) 10. Delores (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) 9. The Buyer (Knuckles Series) 8. The Chameleon (Kung Fu Panda 4) 7. Goldfin (Tales of TMNT) 6. Bode (Iwaju) 5. Doom Syndicate or just Machiavillain (whoever the proper villain of Megamind 2 is - i havent watched it) 4. Maxime Le Mal (Despicable Me 4) Third most evil: Cassandra Nova (Deadpool wolverine) Second Most Evil: Adam (Hazbin Hotel) Most Evil: Sentinel (Transformers One) Later additions include: Matangi, Dr robotnik or shadow
I would argue Cyrille Le Paradox is more evil than Clockwerk-he tried to erase the Cooper Clan's existence through time travel. Clockwerk was literally fuelled by his hatred and envy of the Cooper Clan and wanted to be the only master thief in the world through eradication of the Clan.
20:24 with an interview with one of the leads for the how to train your dragon comics, he talked about a comic that was said to be in the works (isn't out though) toothless and hiccup get lost at sea where a dragon takes them to a secret underground city in darkness where its revealed drago lived and was taken there by the same dragon but once he finds hiccup they have a fight where hiccup has to kill drago
Hi Httyd nerd here! On an interview, it was revealed that Drago Bludvist was still alive. He somehow survived the retreat of the Bewilderbeast and found himself in an underwater ruin that has a dome made by a dragon called a Fathomwing. Although he does die after the Fathomwing saved Hiccup from a storm, and fought him again.
Did Humpty actaully die? In the novel, he's still alive and in the end credits of the film, you see him as a golden egg laughing with the mother and baby goose. Also not sure about Prince Charming, it's left ambiguous if he actaully died because you can see a window in just the right place when the tower falls, meaning he might have only been trapped. He certainly appears in the Shrek comics and some of them I believe were set after Shrek 3. Not completely clear.
Not really. He had multiple chances to listen. No matter what he'd do, the people would have to listen to what he'd say as he was Pharoah. Yet he tested Moses after losing his son. Ramses was a fool. Simple as that.
@@bizzaroblake2519 I guess sad in the metaphorical idea of "Absolute power corrupts absolutely" especailly since Ramses was shown to have a very good relationship with his brother before the power got to his head. It's more like extreme pity for him, but that's what makes these biblical stories resonate so much.
There's a reason billions of people around the world are still religious. Even if a lot of tales of fear are often mentioned, the original point of a lot of these stories was to HELP humanity understand the error of thier ways in hopes of allowing peace. Sadly many of them were corrupted by the same people the books warn against, but none of them originally preach the hatred that is often associated with them. Only ironically to RECOGNIZE the hatred from "False prophets".

Even if they could repair Vontra good as new, consider this: She activated the self-destruct feature of multiple robots while trying to reacquire one. My wager would be that the technicians reviewed and recorded as much data as they could, with their most intact and reliable source being Roz, after which Vontra was determined to have a severe programming error and all Vontra models were either scrapped or recalled to be reprogrammed, with the one from the movie no doubt being the former. EDIT: Aaaaaaaand here are the ones you forgot: Scott-free fates: The Gorg (Home) The Colonel (Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron) Death (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish) Goldilocks & The Three Bears (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish) Technically punished: Phil Betterman (The Croods: A New Age) Gladys Sharp (Over the Hedge) Dwayne LaFontant (Over the Hedge) Quick deaths: The Spiny Mandrilla (The Croods: A New Age)
I actually feel bad for Ken cause... hes just doing what a normal person would do. yeah, he needs some therapy probably, but.. hes a normal dude. Drago.. Idk, i think he's still kicking around somewhere. I just have that feeling.. Also, ngl, id kinda like to see him return in like a sequel series to the original. Where he either gets redeemed (least likely) or actually eliminated (most likely). Like hes an old guy, but still a hulking brute, and hes either punishing himself and living in solitude OR he's basically playing the long game with his plans - which probably include killing Hiccup, his friends, anyone related to him, and whatever other desires he has. But either way, he'd be trying to play it smart and manipulating and carefully, IF we'd go for the bad ending. And it never occurred to me just how horrific Pitch's fate was/is.. omg..
For Grunion the hell with decades she's hundreds of years away. For DuBois she broke not sure how many laws and does animal control have jurisdictions if so she violated a lot not to mention international
thing about humpty's death, and i don't know if anyone else has mentioned it yet either, but you can't tell it's humpty unless he wants you to know, humpty didn't actually die, you can see so in the credits
In the Exodus, it is written that Pharaoh died along with his army. I believe this was changed due to the fact he was more sympathetic, and there were other changes made as well. Such being Aaron doing miracles with Moses, as well as Moses being 80 years old when he began the Exodus.
To be fair though, in the end of Poopypants’ debut book, he did change his name, and in keeping with New Swissland tradition, he became Tippy Tinkletrousers. Not the best idea for a name change.
My honorable mentions: Death (Puss In Boots The Last Wish) Spares Puss’ life and leaves. Dr Erwin Armstrong (Boss Baby: Family Business) Returns to his family after his defeat. Dwayne “The Verminator” LaFontant (Over The Hedge) Caught in the explosion of the Depelter Turbo, escapes arrest, only to be bitten on the leg by Nugent the rottweiler. Goldilocks And The Three Bears Crime Family (Puss In Boots The Last Wish) Redeem themselves and decide to take over Jack Horner’s pie factory. Gladys Sharp (Over The Hedge) Caught in the explosion of the Depelter Turbo, fired from her job, and arrested by the police. Melvin (Captain Underpants) Survives the explosion of the Turbo Toilet 2000, but gets stuck in a giant roll of toilet paper. The Pied Piper (Shrek Forever After) Redeemed during the credits. The Poison Apple Villains (Shrek The Third) Redeemed themselves following Arthur’s speech. Layton T. Montgomery (Bee Movie) Loses the trial, then cryptically warns Barry that a negative shift of nature is imminent. Lola (Shark Tale) Attempts to apologize to Oscar, only to encounter Crazy Joe instead. Spiny Mandrilla (The Croods: A New Age) Plummets to its death in a chasm.
Fun Fact about Drago Bludvist: There's an unreleased comic/light novel (idk the right word, sorry) that actually confirmed Drago's fate! He survived, and was seperated from his dragon. He somehow ended up in an underwater ruins with a large air bubble formed by a massive dragon. In the unreleased series, Drago would have "bonded" with a Stoker class centipede-like dragon that fights alongside him. Eventually he does meet Hiccup again and the two have another fight. The result of this fight, I don't know. But should this ever release, Drago is confirmed alive. Edit (additional fun fact) The Red Death is not named "red" due to its body, but its flames! She was originally going to be a Tidal class dragon who was bluer in color with bioluminescence, and had green flames. Originally she was named "the green death" hence why the battle theme for Red Death is "battle with the green death". Eventually this name WAS used for a cousin species to pretty much looks identical and doesnt have much other actual difference.
20:35 So it was actually confirmed that if the fire tides comic came out, we actually found out that Drago did, in fact, survive. And even worse, he ended up bonding to a very ruthless dragon, which was built like a centipede, and its flame breath was brutal. So we didn't get full confirmation of how Hiccup killed Drago, but he does kill him.
There are some strange Dreamworks movies out there that I just suppressed any memory of, or just forgot were dreamworks films. This studeo. Edit: Also, I'm glad the Shrek trilogy is getting recognition. In hind sight, Fiona's sub plot really embodies the hope and danger of wanting the fairytale romance that a lot of young girls likely fantasize about in some form or another. Glad she got the knight in shining armor. Edit 2: God, it's triggering me a little that so many animated villains are redheads. It seems like redheads are done so dirty in animation other that Hercules.
18:50 Prince charming didn't die if you watch Shrek thriller music video he survived you watch closely he got trapped near the window of the Tower and survived. It was foreshadowed earlier in the beginning of the film. and he was in thriller music video at the very end when shrek wakes up from his nightmare. I'm happy they didn't kill him off because he is a great character hopefully we'll see more of him in Shrek 5 if he's in it.
I really wouldn't consider Chunky a villain, he was just a wild animal looking to survive, and when he had that rock thrown at him that engaged the hostility. I mean that's what happens when you try to attack a wild animal with teeth, a stinger, or a beak 99% of the time. Same with the Fossa, in real life their diet actually consists of lemurs, this was even covered in a Wild Kratts episode. And as for Humpty Dumpty, he didn't die, at the end credits we see him playing with the golden goose and the great terror as they're dancing to the song Americando by Lady Gaga.
According to the Kung Fu Panda novelization Tai Lung and the other Kung Fu Masters played jump rope with the Chameleon’s tongue in the Spirit Realm so she essentially got bullied in the Spirit Realm her placement on this list is well earned
Being a prey type vore fan I would say getting swallowed whole by the dragoness would've been a preferable death type compared to literally any of the others shown.
The Irony in Gladys Sharp's defeat is that she was likely fired from her position as president of the HOA and as a result she might be the laughingstock of the neighborhood
I'm gonna make an argument for Death here. Yes, in day to day life he's simply a force of nature, a fact of life. But regardless of how angry Puss made him, however justified that anger was, he was still trying to break the rules by personally killing Puss before his time. ("That's cheating!" "Shh. Don't tell.") With that said, *Slap on the Wrist* Death was openly savoring the process of hunting, tormenting, dueling, and trying to kill Puss. That all went down the drain when Puss showed him that the self-absorbed, reckless, "arrogant little legend who thought he was immortal" was gone. What happens to Death as a result? His fun is gone, the game is over, and he can't do anything about it but briefly vent his frustration and move on, satisfied that Puss now values his life and respects Death. That's... that's it. His punishment for his existential breach of duty by turning his job into a game at Puss's expense, is that the game stops being fun to the point he gives it up. Granted, I'm not sure how one would go about handing Death itself any kind of harsher punishment, but that doesn't change the fact that his comeuppance is weaksauce.

@@prestonendresmovies great now I can only hear “staying alive staying alive oh no no” as he is being digested alive

Also on Shrek the ride he's a ghost, so he definitely didn't survive.
I don't think the Shrek karaoke dance party is canon.
There's also a Shrek Halloween short that definitely confirms he's dead as we see his ghost
You forgot Death and Goldilocks (Also from PiB: TLW)
Death (Scott Free): After Puss learned how to appreciate his last life and doesn't fear him anymore, he lets him go, reminding him that when the time comes, they'll meet again
Goldilocks (Slap on the wrist): After hearing momma bear's confession that she made their lives 'just right', not understanding what the map wanted to tell her, Perrito saying that she 'won the orphan lottery', seeing the bears' expressions of sadness, when she says that she wants to replace them with a human family, AND watching Baby Bear nearly dying, she finally learned her lesson and saved him, at last coming to realize what the map was telling her all along, she already has what she wanted
Jack Horner's lackeys (Brutal deaths): I'll keep it simple. Jack Horner's friendly fire was on
Death wasn't really a villian. He was a neutral force of nature that will follow all living things. Yes he was more aggressive with puss but that was because for someone to have nine lives: he wasted almost all of them as a giant relentless insult to his job.
He also forgot Lola from shark tale

There's a reason billions of people around the world are still religious. Only ironically to RECOGNIZE the hatred from "False prophets".

Fun Fact about Drago Bludvist:
There's an unreleased comic/light novel (idk the right word, sorry) that actually confirmed Drago's fate!
Edit (additional fun fact)
The Red Death is not named "red" due to its body, but its flames!
Poopypants actually changed his name at the end of Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants (the fourth book in the series)

I'm gonna make an argument for Death here. Yes, in day to day life he's simply a force of nature, a fact of life. But regardless of how angry Puss made him, however justified that anger was, he was still trying to break the rules by personally killing Puss before his time. ("That's cheating!" "Shh. Don't tell.")
With that said,
*Slap on the Wrist*
Death was openly savoring the process of hunting, tormenting, dueling, and trying to kill Puss.
