Burgess reminds me of Dr. Manning. Both of them are self righteous and can’t take it when they make a bad decision. She treated her CI like a piece of trash then when Upton proved that Sienna was right, Burgess got pissed. Later, after Sienna died, Burgess criticized Upton for not being hard enough on her CI (if he had dug around for the info they needed he would have been killed). Upton said that her CI wasn’t just an asset, he was a human being and a friend.
what kind of cop doesn't even follow up on a specific murder accusation with the location of the body? I mean sure if you think she's playing you don't extend the deadline but at least go and look.
