Hey!! I’m a junior in hs rn but northwestern is my top choice school. People at my school rarely get into rlly competitive schools cuz they mostly all just go to our state school haha but do u have any tips for my application? Thanks!
It was the same for me! Ik it can be hard to figure out everything yourself but I have a Words you need to know before applying to college video up that you should check out! Also, subscribe because I will definitely be posting more tips in the future and feel free to message me if you have any more questions:)
I attended NU years ago, and I think the Elder Hall pics of that one end room (at around 6-min mark, from Margaret) were of my room. Can you tell me if those pics came from the 2nd-floor room or 3rd-floor room? (My roommate and I were in the 2nd-floor end room two years in a row.) I enjoyed the video. Thanks. :)
I’m a journalism major and I picked a lot of south dorms but also a few north buildings. I want to be very social but I’m conflicted. What would you recommend?
it honestly depends so much on what you want. you can be social and have friends at any dorm soo other than that I recommend that you look up the Northbynorthwestern Housing Guide 2019 because it is made by students and includes some of the smaller dorms that get overlooked!
Hello! I’m going to be a journalism major this fall at Medill (south campus) but I still want to enjoy the social aspect of the north campus. Do you have any advice for where to live?
I just answered this a couple question down but I’ll tell you the same thing lol Even though it might be a bit easier to be social on north campus, don’t worry you can make friends and be social anywhere. I recommend that you look up the Northbynorthwestern Housing Guide 2019 because it gives so many details about all the dorms especially some of the smaller ones that get overlooked!
No, they don’t come with either! Most people buy mini fridges and as far as I know, we aren’t allowed to have our own microwaves. My floor had its own microwave and I’m pretty sure all dorms provide microwaves somewhere
Please please do one on south dorms! Would really appreciate it before the June 1 deadline
so last minute i’m sorry I didn’t have time to make a video but if you have any questions please DM me on instagram @kate.tad and i’ll try to help!!
My daughter just got into Northwestern on a ED. Watching this to learn how to move her in to the dorms!
NU is my dream school! Applying ED this fall and I'm getting way too emotionally attached to these dorms lol

Do any dorms come with a mini fridge / microwave? If not, do people usually get buy one for their dorm?

How does having a lesser quality dorm bond people closer? I can't comprehend it
you bond over the bad conditions lol it's not for everyone
Hi from Brazil!!!
