Chris, you should issue a correction: Biden did say he was going to pick a Black woman for VP
Wrong. That is what he said about the Supreme Court pick. Are you going to issue a correction or not?
"Our process is going to be rigorous," Mr. Biden said. "I will select a nominee worthy of Justice Breyer's legacy of excellence and decency. While I've been studying candidates' backgrounds and writings, I have made no decision except one. The person I will nominate will be someone with extraordinary qualifications, character, experience and integrity. And that person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court. It's long overdue, in my view. I made that commitment during the campaign for president, and I will keep that commitment."
@@robertcampomizzi7988 Jackson is a DEI hire, and sleepy slow jo did say he was going to pick a minority woman for his VP...aka black woman...again, definition of DEI hire...
@@robertcampomizzi7988“I am not committed to naming any (of the potential candidates), but the people I’ve named, and among them there are four Black women." Biden July 2020

Kamala Harris of California, Rep. Val Demings of Florida, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, former Obama administration national security adviser Susan Rice and Rep. Karen Bass of California are among the Black women being considered."
That does NOT mean ONLY black women. It means he was going to choose a woman. That was HIS choice... that's how a VP "pick" works. Ffs!

For SCOTUS, not VP. You've gotten them mixed up. On his final shortlist he did have four black women so you can definitely argue that it was the plan all along, but when the vetting started he didn't say black woman and there were women of other ethnicities as well as part of the process.

I supported DEI all the way till 2021 when the idea started to change to something hateful. Being DEI doesn't mean hatred towards white (and it shouldn't). It shouldn't be blaming white for everything to lift other minority groups. It shouldn't be about demanding everyone agreeing your gender interpretions. It's gotten out of control. Now I can't stand DEI.
DEI isn't hating white people though. But opening the pool of opportunities beyond just status quo white. Which does include different economic backgrounds, disabilities, educational backgrounds as well. Which also includes white people STILL!! DUH!!
@@AljIsHere128DEI means Didn't Earn It, so experience is racist???
@@AljIsHere128 I just took a DEI course in a state teacher certification program required for a state teaching license. I was told any discussion of students being economically disadvantages should be interpreted as speaking in "code" about students of color, that a teacher demographic comprised of a majority white population is a problem that needs to be overcome by "socializing" white teachers to interact with students of color, and that white teachers should feel guilt about being teachers as one of the "seven steps toward becoming a multiculturally competent teacher." White teachers can connect with students of color through hip hop and rap. White teachers should understand that students of color come from families that are more family oriented. White teachers should understand that Native American students prefer to learn by watching, than doing. The "western" way of learning through analysis, experimentation, and evidence discriminates against students of color because it does not acknowledge the nonwestern way of gaining knowledge through experience and cultural tradition. Any person of color who disagrees with DEI "doesn't understand" the system of oppression or has internalised racial prejudice. And "every white child, by the time they are three years old, knows that they are going to be treated better than every other child in the United States." But, the mental health crisis among white students is due to the decline of white family structures. The word "diverse" is used as a synonym for people of color and does not include white students, who are presumed to be of middle class economic status. DEI started out with good intentions, then it got twisted.
@@AljIsHere128 It is not true, DEI is directly designed to put down white people compare to other races, especially black. So happy to see all these grifters getting exposed.
I am Apache from Generation X. The general pattern I have noticed is that there is a high level of hypersensitivity in the far left "wokeism". It feels like the older generations had a higher threshold. As an example, TV shows and films from the 1970s and 80s could not be made in today's "woke" climate: M.A.S.H (too sexist), All in the Family (too racist), Jeffersons (too racist), Three's Company (too sexist and homophobic), Fast Times at Ridgemont High (too homophobic), Sixteen Candles (too racist), etc. The threshold of tolerance was generally much higher.
For example, I was in one situation where I know the far left woke people would yell racism. I worked remotely from AZ as an engineer for a corporation in the Upper Midwest. I went onsite in December then again in March. The 2nd time a coworker, a white male engineer, noted I looked darker, more tanned. He asked me if I had been hiking a lot. I assessed the situation. I remember thinking "Is this really racism? Or is he genuinely surprised that people in AZ are able to hike outdoors in the winter while in the Upper Midwest it's too cold to go outdoors for long period? ". I analyzed his vocal tone, facial expressions, and body language and concluded that he was not racist. He was simply very surprised that people could hike outdoors in AZ in the winter to the point of getting tanner while in his state most everyone is indoors much of the time due to sub-zero frigid weather. He was not racist. It was not "colorism" or "toxic racism against darker people", etc. He was unaware that people in Phoenix can hike that much in the winter since he was largely confined to life in his state - very cold in the winter.
The white engineer was actually my greatest ally that day. The corporation was going through massive layoffs and sending jobs offshore. He worked with me to prepare for a major meeting on a potential project. The white engineer wanted me to be the lead on that project. So, he went all out in getting me prepared despite his busy schedule. Again, the guy was not racist at all.
But the far left, woke movement would label him as "racist", "toxic" and vitriolic. They would see him as a racist white guy ostracizing and belittling a minority coworker for getting "too dark" in the sun. Then the far left woke people would likely (1) post it on social media that he is racist to potentially thousands (or even millions) of people on various accounts online and (2) file a lawsuit and (3) stage a protest outside the corporation. All that would likely be done without due process. I totally disagree with that.
Again, the guy was not racist at all. He tried to save my job. Ultimately, the corporate executives did send the job offshore. It impacted both whites and minorities. DEI or No DEI - it did not matter. When the jobs go offshore, then they just go offshore regardless of skin color, white or non-white, religious or non-religious, woke or non-woke. Offshoring just overrules all of that. It usually backfires. How does Matt Walsh feel about offshoring that lays off American workers - even the minority engineers or female engineers? When offshoring happens, it seems like DEI just goes by the wayside.
Thank you for the well written comment.
Food for thought, worth reading twice through.
I can't speak for Matt Walsh on an individual level, but his opinions on immigration and trade with non-free market economies seems to directly oppose offshore labor competing with American labor. He's more focused on American cultural issues, though, so his opinion is mostly unclear on this. All that can be said for sure is that he believes in merit, not identity politics, in hiring and compensation.
Personally, I understand the frustration. China is not a free market. Neither are many of the other offshore competitors. Obviously, labor in the free market will be more expensive than labor in China, where it is effectively indentured servitude to the CCP. American businesses should NOT be able to capitalize on that. Trump's trade policy gives business incentives to bring their contracts back onshore through offshore tariffs and deregulation for American suppliers. This is a large part of why I will be voting for him.
@@kmp8563 Thank you for your kind words. I was perplexed about the offshore. I have six master's degrees and over 24 years of experiences - mostly in healthcare and medical devices. Even the offshore team wanted me to keep working for that company. But that company which specializes in healthcare still sent my job offshore. Go figure. As for DEI and AA, I've noted on many posts that it has too many flaws and should end. DEI and AA were failed social engineering experiments. It's time for other options - all merit based. Jeb Bush outlawed AA in FL back in 2000. I earned three master's degree in FL. Minority graduation rates went up after AA was outlawed. There were less minorities on campus but they had much higher graduation rates. This is because they were admitted on merit with the aptitude to go the distance. When AA was still in effect dropout rates were much higher by far. Dr. Richard Sanders of UCLA did a great study on flaws of AA/DEI with the "Mismatch" theory with data to support it.
@@manuelsteele7755 I've had similar experiences being half-Japanese on my father's side and half-white American on my mother's, but born and raised in the US. A lot of people ask me innocent questions like, "Where are you from?" Oddly I've had a lot of people think I'm Russian for some reason; my looks are rather unusual.
Had I been indoctrinated into ideas like "microaggressions", I would have been offended so many times in the US by people who intended me no harm. Many of them became my close friends. Hyper-sensitivity does nothing but create needless conflict and division. Even in the rare circumstances where some people might have said things to me insensitively from a place of bigotry, being offended still does little to persuade them otherwise.
It's similar in Japan. I visited Japan and many Japanese asked me things like, "Do you like McDonald's? Do you enjoy hot dogs?" after learning I'm from the US. An American leftist would probably have a fit and get traumatized by day one should they step foot in Japan. I brushed it off and answered their questions earnestly, and we became close friends. Also they intended no harm by such questions; lots of Japanese enjoy McDonald's and hot dogs and they simply know that these foods are popular in the US, so they will generally ask such questions out of curiosity and eagerness to befriend an American. It's similar to an American asking a Japanese person whether they like sushi or udon.

Anybody ever heard of the Los Angeles Police Department? I have because I was born in and have lived in LA all 50 years of my life. There have been many, MANY stories that have been relayed to me by former neighbors, friends, acquaintances, and coworkers, that LAPD since the mid 70's has worked towards "DEI" so heavily, that we now have a department of officers who have badges and guns who were passed with substandard grades virtually out of paranoia that if the police department did not employ those under DEI, there would be some sort of cataclysmic disaster.
One particular story that I heard back in the mid to late 80's was about this trend of feemail officers working through the six months as you all know, INTENSE academy education/training/physical to become a police officer, only for these DEI offices to go on patrol and within weeks, maybe months after discovering how God awful miserable the streets are to then find some sort of way with alleged threats of seggual harassment and/or racial discrimination lawsuits in order to be transferred to a desk job that a civilian would normally have OR to a another police job that is normally assigned to officers who have more seniority aka earned EXPERIENCE.
This has done nothing to strengthen our police forces or even appease the lepht's insatiable demand for governments to hire anybody but whites and especially males. There are so many stories about this topic.
Another story that comes to mind was one that made big news in Florida, can't remember which city though. The story goes that allegedly one of the chiefs of police in one of the departments in some city in Florida was repeatedly heard and seen in the lobby of the police station or police headquarters pointing to the various pictures on the wall of decorated officers, fallen officers/detectives, retired officers, and former Chief of Police and Police Commissioners. His alleged comment was something along the lines of "We need to change our hiring practices to get rid of all of these white faces. There's too many white people on this wall."
It goes on and on. Even the military is being suffocated with this. There is one story out of England that the Royal Air Force made public and official military news that would not be accepting any more applications for pilot slots from white males.
The disaster is still coming. 2020 was but a taste.
feemail is "female" geeezzz
He did that on purpose. Its to slide under the rampant youtube censors.
I’m really ok with Chris using his intelligence and interviewing skills to now have centrist interviews and takes waaay better than when he was on CNN. I believe in forgiveness
dei isn't including everyone, it includes only people who speak the same language and believe in the same things. anybody who does not agree with the scam you're NOT included.
he left out that people will do what they're told. this shyt never should've made it to the table for discussion.
This was the only Cuomo segment I’ve ever enjoyed. It actually came across as journalism.
1. He did specifically say black woman. 2. She's not even black! I'm so sick of hearing this. Yes her father is Jamaican - as in he's from Jamaica, that doesn't mean he is black. He is of East Indian and Irish descent. In no way does that make Kamala black. He has even come out publicly and lambasted her for her use of identity politics.
Looks like a great film. I am seeing it Saturday
I don’t always agree with Matt Walsh, but so proud of him right now! Can’t wait to see the movie
What you call “evil”. lol. It’s not what he calls it. It just inherently IS evil.
I think he came across really patronising when did the air quotes. Didn't seem necessary.
Chris, thank you for having a fair conversation with Matt on his movie. Biden DID say he would pick a black woman for his running mate in 2020. He also REFERRED to Harris as a DEI hire within his administration in May 2024.
Saying that diversity, equity and inclusion are “honourable concepts” is like saying Madoff was a good investment advisor.
I wish a theater exhibiting this film was less than 100mi away from where I live. That alone should be a story: the myriad ways that PC Hollywood exerts monopoly control over theater screens to block producers and productions that are beginning to compete for movie audiences outside of the studio-system creative echo chamber. BUT - I AM happily going to drive that 200mi round trip and vote with my wallet - for stories, ideas and perspectives outside the movie monopoly. That content revolution started with social media, moved into independent journalism and now to entertainment cinema - and it will be another important part of the movement to reclaim Free Speech and dismantle the establishment media monopoly that exists to suppress and strangle the Marketplace Of Ideas. Thank you Matt Walsh & Daily Wire. Keep going and GO HARDER.
Chris, go watch it and keep an open mind!
Just saw the movie, it was very entertaining and had the whole theater roaring with laughter!! 🤣
I don't know why DEI is getting so much hate. I've purchased many hiking shoes and outdoor gear there with no problems. It's one of my favorite stores.
I can see Cuomo hasn't improved any.
Biden said he wanted a woman for VP and a black woman for the Supreme court.
Watched it last night and everyone in the theater was laughing a good bit. I liked his first movie but this one was definitely better.
Chris is trying to get away from the far left but he can’t quite let go. But he’s close
Cuomo literally didn't know how to talk to Walsh 😂
Correction: Chis is correct in that he explicitly said woman VP. However, it was shortly after that he had been considering 4 black women for the position. Additionally, he did say that he would nominate a black woman for supreme Court Justice. That may be where the confusion lies.
Exactly Matt!!!
I am not a wholesale Matt Walsh fan by any means, but it is clear why Cuomo has to search for his words in this segment several times and Matt Walsh gets to basically pontificate without pause: all his points are of a simple piece with ground-level reality. Matt Walsh is not immune to ideological capture but on this point, no ideology needed.
This film looks interesting… I keep seeing that guy. He is dry but appears kind of funny. And I was someone who went from a DEI believer into a non believer especially after being removed from my job for no reason by a minority. And I was better at the job. I am
Going to go and see it.
If nothing else, you'll get some good laughs.
But it's eye-opening to see the fundamental beliefs behind the left-wing anti-racist movement. I definitely recommend the movie, especially if you're lukewarm in politics and just want to see what's really going on between the two major ideologies.
My dad had something similar happen to him when he was overlooked for someone far less qualified but who checked more DEI boxes. It turned out good for him as he landed an even better role a year or so later, but I'm sure I'll get to experience this betrayal at some point in my career, too. DEI is a shot to the heart of meritocracy.
He clearly said woman of color, you know he did, but you gotta take the left side on this a bend the truth.
Lots of comments on VP pick. Biden said he would pick black women for supreme court and women for VP. Later would confirm several black women in VP running.
Yeh there's alot of people thinking they know quotes without actually knowing the quotes....
It's a shame because they dilute the message and actually make it easier for people to argue for Harris as a result
@@no9scrum i actually thought opposite at first but rewatched clip of debate. You’re right that you can say 99/100 correct things but opponents will pick the one to discredit you. Be precise as there are enough facts to be convincing but it is easy to fall into trap due to social media, conversations, poor journalism etc. Easy to look up source material to get to the truth.
@@bobx8069 100% man! Pisses me off on both sides of the isle I won’t lie..
Like when they use the old “trump said you should drink bleach to stop covid” argument…
He clearly didn’t say that, what he actually said was stupid enough and could have been used against him, but they made something up which immediately grants him the right to call it fake news…
It really is a shame that all you have to do these days is say something enough times that it eventually gets accepted as a fact,
Biden absolutely said that he was going to pick a *black woman* for VP.
Kamala wasn’t black when Biden chose her, remember yal: she was INDIAN 😂
She wasn't black until the 2020 debates, but before Biden picked her
She’s Indian.
@@TruSoLies-u7t it’s called. She identified as Indian and her father is Jamaican. She’s not black.
@@TruSoLies-u7t right. She's mixed, not black
@@TruSoLies-u7t Why do we have to care what is her race? It is enough for us to know that her policies sucks and we cannot trust her because she is constantly lying.
Seeing Chris Cuomo interview Matt Walsh like this is something I never thought I'd see. We really are in the twilight zone.
Cuomo is a joke, he should have been in the movie😂
Matt is a hero.
Since when has Fredo become relevant.
Saw this film today and loved it! Very clever.
I’ve never believed in DEI or affirmative action, and I’m so glad there are a good number of people who share the same sentiment.
Cuomo looks really slow in this interview
Hey Chris. Check your fact bro. Biden said he was considering 4 black women for VP. Not a woman. Walsh was right on target.
When did Chris Cuomo suddenly become a "journalist"?
s
Needs the money
I gotta say Chris did a really nice job with this interview. He is exploring the subject with what seemed to be an unbiased approach.
Cuomo wanted to argue with Matt, but was clearly intimidated by Matt's intellect.
SLAMS?! No. He asks basic, genuine questions and just lets people explain their ideology. Sure, there's some humorous bits in it, but the fundamental point of the entire film was to showcase your ideology.
The fact that being exposed is riling these ideologues up, just shows that they KNOW that what they're pushing is wrong and absurd. But they lose power when they're not indoctrinating children or emotionally abused victims into believing this nonsense.
I really appreciate Cuomos comeback to the center. I’m on high alert for future shilling but I’m happy for now
I feel ya. He's an awesome figure when tempered.
Don't be fooled, he goes which ever way the wind blows. He saw the left crumbling and jumped ship. He probably wants your guns just as bad as Kamala also.
I was thinking the same thing, and it feels like being in the twilight zone. Perhaps it is my imagination, but Chris appears as though he is grinning and bearing the experience being center. Good for him though to do the interview.
Center???? 😂😂😂
He’s a grifter and a sellout
Nope...Biden said that he would pick a black woman. That is on video forever
Equity is a horrible word, giving people things that they didn’t earn because of their skin color, gender, or sexual preference
