This was inspiring. I am in nursing school graduating in December. I was born with the horse bug and never have had a horse because my parents couldn’t afford it. Until fall 2021 I didn’t realize a horse doesn’t have to cost millions of dollars. Once I realized I could make my dream a possibility I started making plans. I’ve been working at a stable 3 days a week mucking stalls, feeding horses, turning them out etc. 1 day a week I work at the hospital, 1 day I have clinical for school, and still go to class sometimes with hay in my hair haha. I’ve almost been working there a year and plan on taking lessons with the university equestrian team coach next month or at least starting in the summer. If that works out I could try out and ride with the equestrian team for my last semester. I have a long way to go but willing to put in the work

Clinton, it's not too late to get into Real Estate. You have so many connections, you would be immediately successful. It's a proven fact, business owners from other industries achieve higher success in Real Estate because the already established a professional rapport amongst a diversity of peers.

Great listen! So nice to hear candid conversations about business and equine industry. I was one of the people (hopefully not annoying horse ladies haha) who audited DUH clinics at Expos back in 2004 to 2007ish, and bought DVDs, so it is cool to see the longevity of the program and Clinton's success.

That's so funny. We have a 27 year old TB gelding on our farm who 100 % guaranteed will tell me when a mare is ovulating, and I breed her that day and we get a foal. Well, we have a large pony mare on the farm, too, and when she gets pregnant, she turns into a stallion and mounts all the other mares who are ovulating and gets stallion behavior. So I always KNOW when one of the mares is ovulating. It's great ! I started this little TH-cam channel when we got screwed on our last farm and throughout the time we were having dirt work done and trees taken down on the new farm, and just started posting videos of horses and ponies doing what they do, narrating their behaviour. Omg - I have almost 31 million views and over 41,000 subscribers ! And, so far, I'm not even trying ! It happened after I posted one of the pregnant mare mounts other mares and becomes stallion-like videos - her videos went viral. So, I have this viewership I can do things with as I "start over again" (the problem with the old farm plus year out of my life for breast cancer) and use it in growing my pony business. Anyway, I'm loving listening to this podcast.

I wish I coulld sit here and listen to these all day. I'll have to listen to this one tomorrow. I have hooves to trim. Yeah, when things got tough hanging on to my pony breeding operation part of my pony business, I learned to trim all their hooves. When I had my US National champion mare, I used to hold her during her shoeings, and the farrier was the USET team's farrier. I used to pester him and ask all sorts of things about how and why he did what he did to hooves. I learned a lot. So, fast forward, out of business necessity, when times were down, I had to pick up hoof nippers, a rasp, and a hoof knife and learn not only how to trim the hooves but how to do it well. I also had to muck sheds again, but that's ok. I've always done what I have to do to take my horse business forward. I don't ket people kock me down - horses are the only thing I can do. I'm on my way out the door to trim some hooves, and can't wait to listen to part 2 tomorrow. Please keep these podcasts coming !

Clinton, you are so right. Back in the late 60s my father did that, the 30 day try the horse. We were honest and fair. Of course many horseman were not. And we could read between the lines on horse sale ads, it was funny how so many would write things like, horse just needs riding, lol. Ok, we know what that means.
We all have stories, lots of stories. Lol.
Like you said, about wanting something, you can Manifest it.
If you believe as if it's already happened, you get it.
    Love your Podcasts, Clinton.
