You truly are a master craftsman.. dropping the subframe on a driveway without all the garage equipment and all the dismantling required. Brilliant job as always 👌👍
I know it's nothing to do with this video but I want to say a big thank you for putting the video up on the Citroen Picasso clutch. I helped a friend of mine change his clutch over the weekend. Thanks.
The elite mechanics like this guy don't need a torque wrench and instinct tells them when something is too loose or too tight..ask my wife :) It's more important to get the right bolt or nut in place more than anything IMO.
This guy shows how much more hard work and risks it takes to repair a fit a clutch on a driveway. So next time a customer asks for it cheaper or why it took so long, I'm sending them this YT link (but when they see the video, I'll still get asked why I took so long..LOL). You sir, whatever you are paid for these jobs, it isn't enough!
Them Mini's look like head-melts Kev - silly amount of dismantling required. That Freelander in the rain... :-( I don't mind getting wet, but getting my tools wet does my head in. You're the grafter, no doubt.
It's amazing to me how all those bolts came straight out first time with only battery powered tools, it recently took me a week to remove one rusty bolt from a suspension damper using a combination of breaker bars, heat, angle grinder and a 240V impact wrench!
Hi kelvin, could you please tell me the length of the stainless steel iron rod, as I have found an engineer but he wants to have an idea of the length. Thanks.
I will never get used to left side traffic, Jump high and scream every time traffic jam in your narrow roads and you turn the "wrong" way. You britts really park everywhere to make it even tighter 😱 Thank you for this weeks video. Range Rover is a lot of work. Whats the worktime on one of those? Regards from Sweden,
Hello mr WILLIAMS, another great video! Wow it's a lot of work with the mini cooper! But it was sunny so it's a good thing for you i suppose? Thanks a lot for the sharing, like i say every time, i could replace my clutch on my 2005 FORD mondeo 2,2 tdci with the videos you did, it was very helpfull and inspiring for me. I'm from FRANCE , but i really appreciate the weekly travel from England! Have a nice day. Merci pour cette vidéo et ce partage de connaissances, c'est toujours un plaisir de vous voir à l'oeuvre! bonne journée.
if that was my drive i would have had it swept for you all those loose bricks do not help but under that pressure you did a great job ,then onto my favourite car "at the moment "and then with the rover 1800 engine and it looks as thought it needs some water in my wife's favourite car but the clutch hydraulics are a pain but you did it and then the dreaded mini and a Vauxhall what more can i say ,thanks for the video
@@WMCS reason they are becoming rare is not many want to get the cylinder head gasket done properly like head skimmed and the new 3 ply gasket done get that done and all is well but keep a check on your water and next week is our holidays .
@@eddieMurphy11111 LOL..he was prepared for a soaking with landy :) The gasket replacment is much easier than the clutch replacement! But yeah, like you say it requires the skimming in a workshop so not a quick mobile service like the clutches.
After seeing how usefull the milwaukee stuff is - I invested bit by bit when I had some spare cash - they make the job a LOT easier - as you get older you have to work smarter !!

Ring Ring, Ring Ring. Hi i have a mini clutch to do, Brrrrrr. Hello hello
I know it's nothing to do with this video but I want to say a big thank you for putting the video up on the Citroen Picasso clutch. I helped a friend of mine change his clutch over the weekend. Thanks.
Hello, the mobile way of working is very interesting. In general, is the torque wrench used for the final fixing of the screws?

The repairs on those Minis looked very complicated compares to others I've seen on the channel. Great job and thanks for the video
Hi kelvin, could you please tell me the length of the stainless steel iron rod, as I have found an engineer but he wants to have an idea of the length. Thanks.
Really great job!
May I know what Milwaukee tools you use?
Я влюблен в ваши видео❤
Can we sit back and wonder how he gets them camera angles. And the time he takes to set them up...
Completely unappreciated but oh so important.
How come you dont use a impact ratchet?

Iv been in the trade for 30 years u are a excellent what u do .that walwakee rachet with the big head looks a beast I must invest
After seeing how usefull the milwaukee stuff is - I invested bit by bit when I had some spare cash - they make the job a LOT easier - as you get older you have to work smarter !!
The "Ratchet" you mention is an angled IMPACT WRENCH - - hence the bigger head Approx £150 GBP
Good work 👍
My expectations is half this is cgi
As long as my customers are happy with their CGI repairs .. lol
Dankeschön!
