These lovely people have visited our country and have been nothing but positive about us and our country. Everyone criticising their pronunciations are making themselves look petty and pathetic. Long may we welcome visitors as nice as John & Teri.
@@diamond1897 thank you ✌️ We truly did enjoy everything about Scotland and look forward to coming back!! Thanks for the comment and watching we really appreciate it ❤️
We left Scotland when I was 5 and Iv been back twice.Last summer my wife and I spent 2 weeks with my auntie in Polmont, I felt so at home we have decided that we will gee it a go and move abroad. We now leave from Toronto in March 2025 for Glesga' tae start our next chapter❤
@@Colin32269 such a beautiful country ❤️ Thanks for the comment and watching we really appreciate it!! Hope you get back to visit, we definitely will..
All these people criticising pronunciations....deary me!, we Scots can´t even agree on how to pronounce place names. Ask folk from the east of Scotland and they call it "Glaz-go", folk from Glasgow itself, you might hear "Glesga". I´m delighted to see such lovely people as you enjoying our country. (ignore the eejits). 😉
Some people get so touchy about their towns being mispronounced, I myself couldn’t care less I’d like to see Scots travelling around the USA or Canada I bet you we would butcher place names haha hope your enjoying your travels ❤️
did you not talk to anybody in Glasgow? If you had then you might have discovered that nobody pronounces 'Olasgow' like you do! Please make more of an effort, oh and Loch Lomond Village is not a thing!
We definitely need to! Thanks for the comment and watching we really appreciate it. We LOVE Scotland and look forward to coming back soon, and I will study the names ✌️
Hmmm, we were told by a young man on the bus that it was, I guess he wasn't aware 🌏 but we did love that day so much! Thanks for the comment and watching we really appreciate it.
Have you seen their travels. Don't look lazy to me. As a Glaswegian, I'm embarrassed by the comments on this video. Paints a very poor picture and is certainly not representative of our normal hospitality.
Well Jonny the Glasgowian, looks like almost every comment mentions their lazy mispronunciation. If somebody’s calling you the wrong name, would you correct it?
@@Scotty432 Wouldn't call their pronunciation against the law (infraction). Are you sure thst is what you meant 🙄? If it was mispronounced to my face I would politely inform of the correct pronunciation for a local. A handful of people (out of the many who have viewed the video) jumping to their keyboard to moan weeks after our visitors made the video.(and therefore can do nothing about their pronunciation) is not representative or very kind to a couple who were very positive about our country. Not worth being mean about!!
@ there’s a total of 18 comments and 10 people pointed out there laziness. Hopefully in the future, they’ll take the time to learn the name of any place they’re talking about.

Thanks, I know, I need to get the names down better.. Thanks for the comment and watching we really appreciate it!!
How can you have spent days in Glasgow and still not know how to say its name?
Give them a break. Hate to see visitors criticised for name pronunciation. Would you be perfect in all other countries?

@@JohnAndTeriJustGo all is forgiven! You had caught me at a grumpy moment . . . but I did vicariously enjoy your appreciation of Scotland's beauty
@@jamesfergusson-s1n all good, Scotland is absolutely beautiful & we will be back & get all the towns names right 😎
Phonetic spelling is GLAS-GO with the GO as in 'lets GO' - not GOW as in 'NOW' - hope that helps...or if you want to be a real local, it's GLAES-GA :)
Actually if you want to be a real local its "GLASS-GAY"
@ nope
Thanks for that!! We try to pronounce towns correctly ✌️ appreciate your comments and watching our journey 🌏
Apologies for the pronunciation police in the comments. Glad you enjoyed our country.
I'm a born and bred Glaswegian and have never called Glasgow, Glas-ga or Glas-gae in my life (69 yrs) !
We don't talk English, we talk scottish, no like it, go tae Londinistan or Birmingistan, try understand them!!!
There is no such village as loch lomond.

Stop criticising 😤! Great to see visitors enjoying our country 👍!
I would’ve watched it if you knew how to say the city‘s name. Seriously how lazy can you get?
How petty can you get 🙄!!!
