I did the college route instead of going to a trade because my teachers and parents urged to use the scholarships I earned in high school but my current career hasnt been working out so I am trying to go for a union apprenticeship. I see how badly this country and CA needs qualified workers so I want in on it, I know I can do it. I have applied and went thru 5 application processes, made it to the interview on every one of them but, I never get the call. It is disheartening to hear all these building and construction initiatives happening in CA but I cant be apart of them.

Do u think it's by design? Maybe who u know 1st instead of who qualifies. I understand tho. 😢
