That island. Seriously didn't know what was there when I happened across it and it caught me by surprise. Of course I didn't know who it was about at the time but immediately understood that it was different and special. Whoever was involved with designing that memorial did an amazing job.

As an addendum perhaps: It's not directly an easter egg, but more of a self-reference: When Aloy examines the Spinosaurus/Slaughterspine in Pangea Park, Aloy and Seyka make the following comment:
"It should look as if the soldiers had a chance against the dinosaurs." - "That's ridiculous ... and kind of cool."
I mean, Horizon really is a undeniably a really great game, but fighting robot dinosaurs with a bow and arrow is one thing above all: ridiculous. And kind of cool. :D

This is cool allot I didn't know. My theory on the Gemini Cauldron naming was that because it has 2 cores, twin cores, as in Pollux and Castor the great twins in the constellation. The Babylonian names for them have been linked to referencing Zeus and Hades.
For those who may not have noticed: Sunrise of Nothingness = Horizon Zero Dawn. Funny play on words from Santa Monica Studio

I love the Easter eggs, especially TLOU bc that's one of my favorite games of all time. Right up there with horizon and tomb raider
Important note for PC players and the Zelda doors: it depends on how you've mapped your tools pouch (traps, food, etc.). The sequence is "{cycle tools left}, {use healing berries}, {cycle tools right}," two times.
I actually didn’t know most of these! Will definitely be looking for them next time I play!

Actually well done on the video, that it was enjoyable even to a veteran, part of it was showing the easter eggs from other games about Horizon too.
And i hate music riddles!...i need a Music Shredder which grinds in the right frequency when shot at it, i call it Disharmonic Shredder, a Reward for the collection of recordings of ol world (metal) music, i called it "Music in Shredders"

The Zelda doors are one of the first easter eggs I found and love all of these Easter eggs!
Wow, didn't know there were so many easter eggs in FW, I knew about the totems and the Zelda doors because of your streams but not the others. It was really interesting.
I never Knew most of these facts. My favorite one that I just learned about was the Donkey Kong Easter Egg.
Wow, the last of us t shirt was cool, sort of resembles those squint at this photo and see it transform, like that scene could start to look like alloy in face paint when blurry.
Theres going to be a hzd remaster coming up and i dont think rehauling the melee system could break the game like modernizing mgs with the twin snakes which uses a lot of mgs 2 gameplay. Its even a smaller part in the initial game so experimenting would be fine and getting a sun wing with attacks .

I knew about the Triforce doors but I had no idea you could actually open them, that's so cool.
And that locked chest that's hidden behind the shooting minigame drove me absolutely insane. I had no idea there was a minigame there, I just assumed the chest was bugged after I spent like 20 minutes trying to open it 😂
I found the hidden room within the base on my first play through. But I assumed it was liked the zero dawn shielded weaver collectibles. So I left it. And forgot about it.
When I read the title, I thought that I definitely already know all of them. Heck, I knew about 50%! Thanks for sharing!

I love all these little things, weather it's silly or heartwarming it's always fun when devs add Easter eggs.
There are other Tenakth with the old-style 'asthetic' you mention in ZD, but you cannot interact with them. Presumably mercenaries, they can be found at the outdoor 'dining' tables, in the outer area at Sunfall. Unlike the Banuk and Oseram groups though, they don't take part in the hunt for Uthid, issued by High Priest Bahavas.

The Zelda Couldron Doors really cought me off guard, didnt know about those.
Stranded Shackles, Figure, Necklace are all from Death Stranding - while in Zero Dawn, they are reciprocal.
Awesome video! I absolutely love this game, and these easter eggs are so cool☺️. I was shocked when I Googled about the guy who died and when Aloy read the note at the memorial I actually teared up, RIP Lance Reddick as well😢... I'm actually saving up for a PS5 so I can play the third game when it comes out, I've played both Zero Dawn and Forbidden West on PC, but I'll be honest and say that the long wait for forbidden West to port over to PC had me frustrated! I tried so hard to avoid spoilers until it released and thankfully my efforts paid off😂. I don't know if I'll be able to wait that long again once the third game comes out, hence my saving up for the PS5.

If I could make a suggestion, I would keep saving up until later this year when the PS5 Pro is supposed to launch. Even if you don’t want a PS5 Pro, the regular PS5s will be cheaper by then so you could get a better deal. Though, with Horizon 3 potentially being a PS6 launch title, or at least optimized for PS6, I would be aiming for either a PS5 Pro or PS6 to get the most out of it at launch. Anyway, thanks for your comment!

RIP Lance, he got me into Horizon, I'd just binge watched The Wire & saw Horizon Zero Dawn on his IMDb page, that was over 2,000 play hours between the two games.
I didn't notice what the fox was called, but I definitely noticed that it is invincible.
@ArktixOffical you missed one easter egg from horizon zero dawn when you kill a normal fireclaw you can see chi caludorn marks on him but when you kill apex fireclaw you can see epsilon caludorn marks on him but epsilon caludorn is not located on horizon forbidden west map it is an exclusive caludorn to horizon zero dawn dlc called frozen wilds
thanks for video. I found Atreus's totem accidentally when fighting a stormbird and found a bow much later used a focus and nothing appeared on sand i thought it's broken quest
While I don’t think it is a Easter egg to any particular game or movie there is a Horus unit that has crashed through the Golden Gate Bridge which is a reference to monster movies where they will always destroy the Golden Gate Bridge by walking through it.
There is also a storm bird that uses the bridge as a perch which could be a reference to mothman but it could also just be a perch
I found so many of those and didn't realize they where Easter egg except for the GoW ones.

Concerning the GOW reference as much as I'd love it to b true but imho i think the poem is about Frey, Kratos's wife who has red hair but then again I love your insight!
Actually, if you find all the different poems, they each reference a different PlayStation game, so it’s pretty clear in that context that this one refers to Horizon. That’s a good point it could sort of work for Frey too though.

Easter egg or not, code to one door in Burning shores reminded me of Master Chief.
OMG, I found that freaking fox. I tried shooting it. Actually, I DID shoot it. It had my arrows stuck in it and everything. I assumed it was a glitch and moved on without a second thought. Aaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!! I missed a thing! So close!
Never found the easter egg even after finish the game on Ultra Hard. Well its expected since on that difficuty, most time I spent were finding good terrain spot for cheese those machine, especially on UH difficuty.
Was a few i didn't know about and some i found and didn't know what they where.
I think the sword in stone is the dumbest placed one. I cant see any reason to wanting to go up to the place at all.

If you play Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and you use Omega Ryno V6 to V10, you'll see Thunderjaw dropping down from another dimension and damaging the target...
