That every tutorial/Informative video on youtube. Someone needs to step it an stop making videos that ramble on and on. They also need to stop putting crappy music in the background that blast out so loud it makes you want to tear your ears off.

Schweizer I tend to shoot 12min. video or that's what I am working with. I try and do high resolution (1080p) so I'd say about 70GB. But then again I am also fairly new. Hope this helps.
You need to change the title of this video. The people that see that title are looking for the best format to use when uploading videos to TH-cam. Not whether or not they should be concerned with format. There are many situations where video quality and upload time are extremely important to the content. No one is saying that content isn't important. But video and sound quality are just as important, if not more so in some situations.
when I download my video from my ps4 to a usb and open it on my laptop on movie maker the video drops from 1080 and when i just watch using another thing it is 1080
The one thing I will disagree with isn't the uploading, for me it's about how long it takes youtube to encode it after I've already uploaded it. Because whatever you send them youtube does it's own compression and down-scaling to optimize it for youtube. I think what most people are looking for is, what format can I send TH-cam to make youtube's down-scaling happen faster so after I upload it will be available faster as well. It's not just upload times that are bottlenecking the process, if it were I'd absolutely agree with what you're saying, but it's more complicated than just the uploading.

Focus on the content, right. But the part : any format whatsoever youtube will do a good job with it is utterly false! There is a lot a tech problems depending on what exactly have been uploaded, a lot. You saying it does not matter is just you being ignorant.
A complete waste of time. Think this character is testing for some future work presentation project or something. Which case, he will put his audience in a coma within a minute. For those that manage not to fall asleep, they will learn nothing for their efforts.
