If your watching this looking for how to remove tape ins... PLEASE do yourself a favor & use pure coconut oil! Heat it up and apply to the tape. It will not only take the glue and tape out in one shot. But it wont damage your hair & it deep conditions at the same time. IT DOES NOT TAKE LONGER!!! If you do it correctly. Acetone will eventually eat at your tape & ruin the extensions... not to mention dry out your hair cuticle & damage your hair in the long run. Acetone will work yes. I agree. But pure coconut oil does the job better with less clean up time after, and its obviously less damaging. Be kind to your hair people ❤
Little protip maybe you heard it before in the comments but ill say it anyways 🤩, USE rather oil or bond remover for removing the tape in, I recommend (Walker Tape Action Adhesive ) it’s oil based and it’s not pulling so hard on your hair chemically! I see the acetone is working just fine, but it’s not good for your scalp honey 😨😍 from hairdresser and extensions tech from Norway 🇳🇴 love the end result 😇 good job 👍
They are beautiful but you look so much better with your natural hair ,you don't need them at all, your naturally beautiful!! . I do appreciate you showing us I have fine hair also. Thanks
I am so happy to hear that! i have an updated video on my perfect go-to diy remover. 1/2 90% alcohol mixed with 1/2 facial cleansing oil. it's sooo good.
Or i tried that and it didn't work at all. I lost a lot of good hairs trying oil. I have an updated video sharing my perfect formula for at home tape extension remover. It's 1/2 90% alcohol and 1/2 a facial cleansing oil. removed instantly, perfectly and washes away with zero residue.
Girl. I just randomly found your video and i got scared. You look like my twin!!!! We are doppelgängers! I’m curious now where are you from? 😳 I’m from Brazil. 🇧🇷
Alvacado oil works the best, cause the acetone or alcohol gives me a headache, but I tried olive oil and Alvacado takes them out in seconds and no hair breakage.
Just an FYI, using acetone to remove your extensions is very damaging on your natural hair. This may be a reason why your hair is thin and brittle, the acetone is drying out your hair and basically killing it. You should seriously use a product made specifically for removing extensions, oil is preferable to acetone.
Honestly , your own hair are beautiful. My hair are just 1/2 of your hair ...and my entourage told me to not wearing extensions because not my hair.. when i Saw you , i m saying to myself " in your case , tape in are really necessary 😁😁👍" ..but believe me , if i have your hair i wouldnt Wear that , too much work and mostly , i will be constantly affraid that some tape in would be visible ..such a shame for me ..i think we must be self confident to dare wearing that .Do you agree with me ??
Wow!! This technique is amazing Bii !!! It fascinates me to see you do these things.. You did get professional ones in Japan or Korea.. And you have the confidence to do your own !!!! I color my hair on my own as well and have done my nails.. I just wonder about hair extentions.. Maybe?!! I love yours and you look fab when you curl it. I think it helps hair growth.... Actually have put on nails for mine to grow all even and take off.. Like a guard so yeah I get it. Thank you.. Can you tell us about your contacts you use now?!! And tanner?!! I saw your moving and have thought/prayed. Bless be. Love from Los Angeles. Xo ❤🌸❤🌸❤🌸❤🌸
I think the tape goes onto the smooth side and the rough side is supposed to give that illusion to somewhat blending into the rest of the hair, The smooth side shines and will look unnatural..
🎬🎥📽Hello am new to your channel and love what l have watched .l am thinking of getting hairs extensions and just wondered if you have ever used the halo extensions this is the hair extensions l am thinking about useing. Just wondered what your thoughts are about the halo type thank you 💖😊💖👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼xx
QUESTION!! Why did you use “thicker” wefts than you did in your other video!?!? I’m about to do mine again and I want to make sure I do it the best way possible
That's up to you and the last time you washed your hair with the extension in. I usually lightly wipe off the tape area after removal with a damp cloth to remove excess residue. Never had any adhesion issues.
Did you change your taping method? In your previous video you cut the wefts down the middle and then you take the half of the weft and sandwich that in half. on here it looks like you’re taking one whole weft and just folding it in half. Jw cuZ I wanted to try your method wanted to know what’s best :)
What? She definitely used a whole weft in the video. It was not cut down the middle. If it had been she would have had to cut the tape when reapplying it. Not sure why she replied with one sentence, not even acknowledging the fact that she used a different method then before. Hopefully she misunderstood cause otherwise her reply is a great example of gaslighting
love your video sweetie! but catch me legit dead before i put acetone on the extensions i payed 600 for. 😂♥ makes them and your roots very compromised and brittle. i'll stick to shampooing several times over two days. a GREAT way to get the oil out of both the tabs of the extensions and your hair is to use dawn dishsoap! truly a CHARM. i would NEVER recommend this for bright color folks though.
Why didn’t you use an old extension that was removed when showing how to remove the tape using a brand new one defeats the whole purpose of the video. When you remove the extension the tape left on is a mess it’s not clean like it is an a brand new one. I watched this video for that purpose and it’s useless.
Girl same my hair only grows a few cms in a month but by a month they will naturally start to twist and fall out. Making around a month the ideal time to remove.

I agree with you ! And the same with olive oil or argan oil 👍
I try it doesn’t work with me
@@alekad8571 exactly my problem! I have tape estensions for a few years now, and still every time it`s a drama to get them out!!
Can I use sweet almond oil??
I'm SHOCKED anyone would suggest using acetone on their hair:( I'll do the coconut oil. THX

It's good that you have the patience and skill to diy it coz I know how expensive it is to do it in a hair salon.
Looks good
This is the MOST helpful video I've found on the subject. Thank you for showing it in-depth!

Thank you for sharing. It really means a lot to me. You're an angel. Thank you again 💓
For any UK folk here, I had really good luck with the Garnier hair food conditioner (the one that comes in the big pot) for removing my tapes :)
Really? Tell me more
I used coconut oil and it worked well and fast...

Lovely filming setup! 😍 also you look so so gorgeous Bronwyn! ✨
Very detailed information. Thank you
Garnier fructose anti frizz helps with removing the tape
I use pure coconut oil
I use baby oil or coconut oil. Tape slides out. Wash hair thoroughly.
Can you reuse tape ins after coconut oil?
How many times do you go around your head? I’m just trying to figure out how do you decide the placement? Thanks!

what is your tape of choice?

Do you wash the extension after retaping them? (Since you’ve used the tape release solution)
What foundation are you wearing in this please x
Hi sweetie. Did you have very fine hair after the first time you put them in? If so how long did you wait until you put them back in?
Please please can you tell me are you using a just normal Acetone For nail ?
QUESTION!! Why did you use “thicker” wefts than you did in your other video!?!? I’m about to do mine again and I want to make sure I do it the best way possible
I think I didn't cut each weft completely in half but instead cut half through a single standard welf to fold it.
Do you not need to wash the extentions first after you have used the remover/acetone to before you re tape ?
That's up to you and the last time you washed your hair with the extension in. I usually lightly wipe off the tape area after removal with a damp cloth to remove excess residue. Never had any adhesion issues.
Hi! This video was suuuper helpful. Could you link the extension remove you used as well?
Where did you get your shirt?!

@@belloftheball4518 shut up
So kool 👍🏼 can you please do an update skincare video? 😊
Do you cut them in half still or less damage this way?
I now only cut the slit in the full weft. I don't cut them completely in half first.
@@itshoneybii okay awesome I'm going to try that! Ive never done hair extensions before I just ordered some I'm so excited!
@@itshoneybii why don’t you do it like that previous video (the half weft folded over)? Was it not working for you?
Hi there, I work Monday thru sat so I won't be home to sign for them.. do u know if they'll leave them at my door/mailbox if I'm not home?!
That totally depends on your mail carrier so I can't give you an answer to this
When you remove them do you wash the extensions then remove the old tape and reapply new tape??? Thanks!
You are supposed to remove the old tape, wash, dry, apply new tape. If you don’t wash then the remover is still on the extentions.
Great video! What kind of tape did you use and where did you get it? Thanks
Kristina F Amazon she said it was brandless extra strong

Hi!! After you have a row of extensions completed, how many inches do you separate your next section to start the next row?
I have thin hair and a small head diameter so I don't leave much space between rows. Probably only 2cm gap
It is best to have at least 100 grams of hair in, even for thin hair, that’s the starting point. I have very thin hair and I prefer 150 grams
love your video sweetie! but catch me legit dead before i put acetone on the extensions i payed 600 for.
You are beautiful hun
please use alcohol 100% no acetone
Riigghhttt.. Lol.. Lol
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
You are supertalanted 😭
Just trying to save money! xoxoxoxoxo
When you use old extensions that you have already cut in half how do you replace the tape?
Same as you normally would. When folding for placement on the hair, the tape folds with ease 🤗
Not acetone!!! Rubbing alcohol and use oil to get the glue out. Wash your hair, the oil comes out easy and you CAN dye it while they are in!!!!
Acetone is drying
Why didn’t you use an old extension that was removed when showing how to remove the tape using a brand new one defeats the whole purpose of the video.
