Wow, it's truly incredible how technology continues to advance and change the way we live. The Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series sounds like an amazing addition to any outdoor adventure or even as a backup power supply at home. With its massive capacity, fast recharging, and comprehensive protections, it's definitely worth considering for anyone who values quality family time and wants to stay connected while enjoying the great outdoors. It will lose money just like that really dumb Orbital Reef idea. Low gravity is really bad for you, like smoking two packs a day bad for you, in low gravity your heart begins to enlarge after 9 months and your bones start to become porous. Gravity is the reason we will won't ever colonize the moon or Mars let alone the other complications like radiation and you can't grow food in regolith you need soil and neither the Moon nor Mars has any.

@@LePageChannel Ahh I get your confusion. No Blue Origin is not developing the Dream Chaser. They did partner with Sierra on an idea for a commercial space station, but not the Dream Chaser.
As far as I know the only other space company that Blue Origin has deals with is ULA for the BE-4 engine they are developing, but Blue Origin is so far behind on that, I am not sure ULA will continue their partnership. We'll see.

I was thinking of that with the Orbital Reef. You cannot walk away, and you are literally within a short walk of your desk 24/7 as long as you are there. You also cannot have inspectors just drop in unannounced. That has a lot of potential for abuse of the employees (also known as "serfs" or "slaves").

Ok but we genuinely enjoy our firepower. We have entire industrues devoted to it. Shooting up cars is fun. We own some property in central Texas. In 1973 my Dodge 100 crapped out and I left it where it died. Over the next 30 years we dumped tens of thousands of rounds into it. Only rule was you can't shoot the rear window. I shot it out in 1989 when my girlfriend left me. I haven't been to Texas in 30 years but we still own the property. When I left Ann Richards (D) was govenor and the Cowboys won 3 out of 4 superbowls. I Ieft and the State went to hell. I do feel some guilt because of that. But more importantly I wonder what that old Dodge looks like now? Do you get memories like that in your country? Life es mucho gusto (tex/mex).

It's hard to believe that they compared that Chinse robot to the Boston Dynamics robot. I'm sure it will be cheaper, that's what China is good at. The Boston robot can do backflips that most humans can't. The Chinese one looks like it can barely walk without a chaperone.

Let's get something right, they do not want to save money. Nobody in their right mind does. Money has very little underlying value. All it's values have become superficial.

The bullet proofing in cars shown here at 1:40 is 20 year old tech used in Brazil and other southamerican countries... 200,000 cars a year are using this these bullet proofing methods and even better methods than shown here... not a "new invention that will change the world" as the title says...

I think it goes back to the first armored cars. 1930's. I know warlords were doing this since the 1960's. Perhaps they meant a militarized police to enslave the population. :)

The ballistic door could be easily accomplished by putting a layer of Kevlar inside the door panel. Surprised this hasn't been a standard inclusion of all police/government vehicles. With the alleged success of biped robots, why hasn't one or more of these been deployed to Mars. Seems it would manage the terrain better than the rovers we've sent thus far.

one immediate problem I can think of is the square cube law in that they are mostly reliant on solar energy, and there's not a lot of surface area on a bipedal robot...
Maybe nuclear technology's advanced to a point where they could incorporate it without affecting the center of gravity too much. But I can't speak on such things. I'm just saying they know more than we do, and they're not doing it: so I'm sure there's a reason...

@@unlike_and_dont_subscribe ⚠️ God has said in the Quran:
🔵 { O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous - ( 2:21 )
🔴 [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. ( 2:22 )
🔵 And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. ( 2:23 )
🔴 But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.( 2:24 )
🔵 And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally. ( 2:25 )

@@unlike_and_dont_subscribeOne solution would be to send a stationary solar charging station. The biped robot could return to this location for the appropriate charging. Simple truth is a biped would be able to navigate the terrain as good as you or I. If I am right, they could be the key to establishing a colony base before humans ever show up.

@ygrittesnow2167 oh no i couldn't agree more we need more mobility, but if we're designing by scratch, why limit ourselves??
our form factor is cool and all but a centaur seems more practical...
with an octopus on his back...
      and wings...
whatever lol js i agree we need better, but i aim beyond mimicking what i can do...

This would only work on car with elelectronic ignition. Using old school points in your cars ignition is the way to go just saying. Thx

Is it difficult to understand the concept of value based on scarcity? Like gold for example?
