Not really, this is basically a meaningless tournament while 2003 was the final of the world championships, can't compare.

Joo played his classic match v Schlager with slowish Tackifire Drive for the fh. Around 2007 he changed to more aggressive attack rubbers, and the result here showed it paid off.
